I have had several injections administered by Dr. Khan and they and he have been a life saver! I live with a daily pain level of between 7-10... and, as some of you may know, being in such prolonged, incessant pain can be demoralizing and downright depressing!! Through the help of the injections administered by Dr. Khan, I experience a very much needed and very much appreciated relief from the pain - lasting usually three to six months even, after a single injection. Everyone at this clinic has been friendly, respectful, efficient, and kind. I have always been made to feel like I am being very well taken care of. And, THAT too has been very much appreciated!! If you are in need of steroidal injections, I highly recommend this clinic and Dr. Khan. Live well. Be well. Cheers!

These were all great doctors, but Dr. Khan is the best in all categories of compassion, care, providing the most options for treating pain and helping patients manage the pain themselves. They are all caring doctors, or they wouldn't be in the business. But, Dr. Khan goes an extra step with guidance, trust and helping patients help themselves. I am very grateful to have found him and nurse Jessica. Simply the best!

If you're debating doing it or not for your labor / delivery, DO IT. Dr. Desai was worth every dollar. He was patient, understanding, professional, and on point with the procedure. I couldn't have asked for a better anesthesiologist. Dr. Desai, if you see this, THANK YOU. You made my labor and delivery a million times better. Because all the reviews are regarding the billing, I should also address the fact that I had an absolutely normal and uneventful payment. I got the paper bill. Paid it online. And that was it. Nothing complicated about it. Everything went simply, as expected. If you get Dr. Desai, he is so worth it. Your epidural will be seamless.

**Complaint Regarding Dr. Krupa Patel and Methodist Richardson Renner Gastroenterology**…read more My name is Chelsea Edwards, and I am submitting this complaint regarding my treatment and subsequent dismissal as a patient by Dr. Krupa Patel at Methodist Richardson Renner Gastroenterology. I have been a highly complex gastrointestinal patient under the care of this practice since approximately September 2024. My medical history includes significant gastrointestinal disease and multiple major abdominal surgeries, making continuity of care especially important. Due to the complexity of my medical condition, I have relied heavily on specialty gastroenterology care for ongoing management and treatment. Approximately six to eight months ago, I had a difficult encounter with a nurse practitioner within the practice. During that interaction, there was a disagreement, and I expressed my intention to file a complaint with the Board of Nursing regarding my concerns about that encounter. Following discussions with upper-level management within the practice, a decision was made that I would no longer see that specific nurse practitioner. However, I was specifically informed that I could remain a patient of Dr. Krupa Patel and continue receiving care through the practice. Following that incident, I had no further conflicts, confrontations, or negative interactions with Dr. Patel. In fact, I did not see or speak with Dr. Patel after that event. There were no discussions regarding concerns about my behavior, no warnings, no requests for a behavioral agreement, and no indication that my relationship with Dr. Patel was in jeopardy. In recent months, my health began to decline. I developed worsening esophageal symptoms and believed I required an esophageal dilation, a procedure I have needed in the past. As my symptoms worsened, I repeatedly contacted the office seeking assistance. Numerous telephone calls were made to the practice, and multiple portal messages were sent. These communications should be documented within the medical record and communication system. During this time, I repeatedly sought help but felt I was given inconsistent information and delayed responses. Despite my efforts, I was unable to obtain timely intervention for my worsening condition. What is most troubling to me is that I never personally spoke with Dr. Patel regarding my concerns. I was never given an opportunity to discuss my symptoms directly with her, nor was I informed that my status as a patient was under review. Instead, while actively seeking medical care for a worsening illness, I was abruptly informed that I had been discharged from the practice. If the physician truly believed that the therapeutic relationship had become irreparably damaged months earlier, I question why that determination was not made at that time. The practice had every opportunity to formally discharge me following the earlier disagreement involving the nurse practitioner. Instead, management specifically chose to keep me under Dr. Patel's care. It was only after I became ill and began requesting evaluation and treatment that I was suddenly dismissed from the practice. I am also confused by the language contained within the discharge notice. The letter reportedly stated that Dr. Patel would continue to provide emergency care for a period of 30 days. If my conduct was truly so problematic that dismissal was necessary, then it seems contradictory that the physician would still agree to provide emergency medical services during that transition period. This raises legitimate questions regarding the actual basis for the dismissal. Equally concerning is that I never received proper notice of the discharge in a timely manner. I was actively attempting to obtain medical care while unaware that the practice had terminated the physician-patient relationship. As a result, I was left without access to the specialist who had been managing my complex gastrointestinal conditions and was forced to seek alternative care during a period of medical instability. I fully understand that physicians generally have the legal right to terminate a physician-patient relationship when done appropriately and in accordance with professional standards. However, my concern is not merely that I was discharged. My concern is the timing, circumstances, and manner in which it occurred. As a medically complex patient experiencing active symptoms, I felt abandoned during a period when I was seeking necessary medical treatment. To this day, I cannot identify any interaction between Dr. Patel and myself that would justify such an abrupt decision. We had no personal conflict, no hostile encounters, and no discussions suggesting that she no longer wished to serve as my physician. Because of this, I am left with the impression that the decision may have been influenced by information or opinions unrelated to my direct interactions with Dr. Patel rather than based upon her own experiences with me as a patie

Dr. Hollmuller is caring and compassionate; he LISTENED and I never felt rushed. They aren't just pushing people through; they're providing a lifeline for many who've done everything to address severe depression, to no avail. Am so appreciative of their veteran's/first responder discount - only one other doctor who offers this treatment in Dallas does it. Although esketamine is FDA approved, I was told that IV treatment would be better for me. Esketamine is FDA-approved, but it's difficult to access in Dallas. Unless you're still working and have employer-subsidized insurance, it's still very expensive. Haven't found a Medicare-based plan from any insurance company that will cover it, so if you're retired or disabled, trying to live on a fixed income, you're pretty much out of luck. Am learning that as we age, if we're not fortunate enough to have had everything go "right" in our lives, we might now be expendable. Both nasal and IV treatment prohibit driving after treatment, so people who don't have family or friends to help have the added expense of transportation. If TKS was further away from me, I couldn't have done it, and I live in NE Dallas. Paying 100% out of pocket for treatment makes it inaccessible for so many of us. I wonder how many suicides happen when people finally give up after years of taking antidepressants that don't work or have unacceptable side effects, who have had ECT or TMS, all with no symptom improvement. Kept thinking that FDA approval would be forthcoming soon and make treatment less costly, so tried hard to keep going. Spent countless hours researching, making calls, nothing. Finally called the FDA in September and very nice PERSON provided ph #s to two pharmaceutical companies with pending requests. Both companies said their requests didn't include treatment of depression, but wouldn't explain. Did more digging and found that because pharmaceutical companies can't make it profitable, it's no longer even on the table. Doesn't look like it will happen any time soon, if at all. Cried for a few days then started selling stuff and was able to pay for initial series of treatment. Thank you, God! Due to strong faith beliefs, have never been suicidal, so didn't get an immediate "boost." Life-issues that worsen depression haven't been resolved, and meds don't solve everything. BUT anxiety decreased right away and after initial series, debilitating depression seems to be lifting after 25 yrs. I can feel a difference and to stabilize, even incrementally, would be life-changing. Must now take radical steps and sacrifice some basic needs to continue treatment. I'll cut way back on everything and trust God to protect me. The payoff - if it happens like I think it will - will make the hardship worth it. If it doesn't, I'll accept that, but God has opened a door! PS - If you decide to do this, create a well-considered playlist and wear headphones. No dance music!

In 2000, medical researchers discovered that ketamine has a powerful effect on depression, especially in patients resistant to typical antidepressant treatment. Physicians have seen powerful and continuous results of ketamine depression treatment over recent years. These improvements include a lift in mood in as little as a few minutes or hours, a reduction in suicidal thinking and none of the side effects typically seen with classic antidepressants. At Texas Ketamine Specialists, serving patients in the Dallas, Plano and Richardson, Texas communities, patients receive a thorough psychiatric and medical evaluation prior to ketamine infusion therapy. From check in to discharge I had the best experience ever!! My experience was so great, it makes me look forward to my next stay. Went in for a major surgery (12+hours) and I was sooo nervous. I mean ready to go back home, asking the surgeons and everyone else why they were so calm nervous... Everyone was so pleasant and reassured me that everything would be ok. I made sure to let the surgeons and staff know that "I needed to wake up" and nearly 13 hours later. I woke up!! My surgeons were top notch!! If you ever get a mastectomy with reconstruction Dr. Perry and Dr. Mckane are your surgeons. I've seen pictures of others with the same surgery and I am glad that my incisions look nothing like that... The Anesthesiologist was amazing as well. During the surgery and during my hospital stay they made sure that my husband and children were taken care of. Usually you wait in the waiting room, but they let them stay in the room that I would be in during my stay so they were comfortable. My husband mentioned that they even had a beverage cart. I was in the hospital from Wednesday to Sunday and I was actually the only patient in the whole hospital for the last few days. The level of care was outstanding! Before you could think of it, they were there. I had a bit of an issue with pain management, but the nurses were there to ensure I was as comfortable as possible. Usually you get those few nurses that just don't enjoy their job, but I can honestly say that ALL of my nurses were the best of the best! The last thing you want after surgery is a noisy hospital and this hospital was sooo quiet. It was also very clean. Overall, this stay was like a trip to a fancy hotel:) This surgery was not a walk in the park, but this hospital made all the difference. THANK YOU!! Another bonus, the food... YUMM!!! I've never had hospital food so good at a hospital. In fact, I've never had food so good at some restaurants. I didn't have much of an appetite afterwards and they worked with me to try to get something that I could eat. The Cheesecake and chicken Alfredo was my favorite. They even made homemade chicken noodle soup. I even asked if they could come home and cook for me lol!
