Comfortable Firenze stay!
We stayed five nights in this comfortable studio apartment in a terrific location in Santa Croce just a short walk to most of Florence's major attractions. The apartment had a good bathroom with rain shower, bedroom/living/dining area with flat screen TV, and a laundry accessible by a steep spiral staircase. The kitchen was quite well-equipped with glassware, cutlery, crockery, kitchen utensils, pots, pans, fridge/freezer, kettle, moka pot, gas cooktop, oven, microwave, and kettle. We did feel a little uncomfortable about the surveillance camera inside the apartment door. We were very disappointed that the house rules did not allow us to have guests as we had friends staying in Florence at the same time as us - note that this rule is not on the Booking.com listing. Also there are no bedside tables and the heating is controlled by the host, although you can contact him to request adjustments. This is the only place we have stayed at where we have had to pay a €200 cash deposit - it meant that the host had to come back to return the money after inspection when we checked out. Via dell'Agnolo is a very busy street, and there is a bus stop right outside the apartment - so you'll need to keep your windows closed. Marco is a very responsive host and this is a good option for a central Florence stay! read more
