To be fair, they advertise "damn good coffee" and when that's what counts most, there's no dissapointment. Emilio treats customers like family and on several occasions, diners have been encouraged to sing - along to 'happy birthday' for those who would celebrate, while a candlelit cake is delivered to the table. ~~The Short~~ Things have turned around at Blue Infusion again: Coffee was great and the Coconut…read moreCake was tangy and moist. ~~The Long~~ We decided to revisit Blue Infusion after having a bit of a average lunch meal experience when we visited three months ago. This time we went for morning tea, and had two large Cappuccinos, two Coconut Cakes, two kiddie bikkies and two babycinos. This totaled $21. My wife told me that similar menu selection up at the new The Coffee Club Mango Hill came in at about $32, so Blue Infusion is better comparatively on price. The Coconut Cakes had the same quality as when the business first opened up (which was that home baked flavour that made the business distinctive in the North Lakes market). It was great to taste this again. I have to say the rest of the cake slices looked decidedly dried out, which is why we chose the Coconut Cake. When delivered to the table, it was warmed up and accompanied with cream and it really tasted lovely: great job! Perhaps the other cakes once subjected to the same serving conditions would have moistened up again. I can't say with certainty. The Cafe continues to cater for the younglings, and had a $1 chocolate biscuit item for the kids to munch on. Babycinos are always free at Blue Infusion, which again makes it attractive for families with young diners. I can't comment how the A La Carte menu has changed in three months, but perhaps it is time to revisit that again and give it another go.
