And maybe I was sun-drunk from sitting out the front with Spring's sun rays beaming down on me, or maybe (as I suspect) after more than a year serving their eats to hungry breakfast hunters, Nana & Da's have found their groove. When I first visited, it was their first week in business and since then they've settled into their cottage cafe. I was pleased to discover they're still pouring Supreme beans and my long iced black was the best accompaniment to a hot Spring day. There's an all day breakfast and a hearty lunch menu featuring items like beef brisket and plenty of vegetables! And, if you're only in the market for elevensies, check out the cake cabinet by the counter - lemon tea cake, raspberry friands - they're all there. I opted to order from the all day breakfast menu and honed straight in one the three cheese toast with buttered asparagus. Regardless of what time of day you're eating this it isn't a large meal - more of an ample snack.
