Bahahaha what a joke, I am tempted to revoke my shining review on the place from November last year…read morehowever I leave it hear to show you how far this place has fallen. A shadow of its fallen self. A long standing customer, booked a prominent birthday celebration for myself, and where we should be home now with full stomachs, raving about what a good night, we are furious with what an awful experience it has turned out to be. The eftpos was down, which was a blessing in disguise. Ordering a simple drink was hard enough. My apple and pineapple was fresh squeezed orange, and my friends orange was recommended to be bottled as they were fast running out of fresh orange. Perhaps if they stopped giving people what they didn't order they have enough? Two guests had drinks in paper cups because the waitress didn't think washing up dirty cups was part of her duties. A guest finally had to speak up to ask if our orders could be taken. Then we waited almost an hour and a half for meals. The restaurant was far from peak capacity. Catering for a guest who had a food allergy seemed rather difficult task, featuring multiple trips to the chef. Meals were bought out but the waitresses played guess who's is cooked to order with the steak and fish. No one received designated mediums and medium-rares and well dones. The seafood risottos had one scallop one prawn each. Sounds like a fishing story where they think bigger than they actually are. Not putting something on a pizza or meat in a salad as per stated in a menu was rather amusing it appeared. The salad was returned and fixed fairly fast. The pizza was a disaster, featuring a rude and obnoxious waitress (who by the way was uptight, believed in speaking back to the customer and had an attitude problem from the beginning), ended in extremely upset guests who left early, together with my appetite. Another waitress eventually took over the mess and the chef apologised several times and offered amends in the usual fashion but the damage was done, the night was ruined, free shit and apologies mean nothing when you run your business like that, allow staff to treat customers so rudely, and screw up an important evening. NOT what I expected from a seasoned local restaurant who we have supported so often. It saddens me to write a review like this, but I am dearly hurt by such an experience.

Good for breakfast, lunch or dinner. Great open air atmosphere with surprising excellent food.read more

Well... it's not your fine dining experience by any stretch of the imagination and neither is it…read moretrying to be but Emilios does provide a good start to the day that everyone can afford with the $5.00 cooked breakkie meal. The menu is quite comprehensive and generally I would say the food is 'ok' - more like what you might find in and American diner with emphasis on quantity The top quality ingredients have gone to other establishments however Emilios is not a place I would avoid. To be fair, they advertise "damn good coffee" and when that's what counts most, there's no dissapointment. Emilio treats customers like family and on several occasions, diners have been encouraged to sing - along to 'happy birthday' for those who would celebrate, while a candlelit cake is delivered to the table. Live music on Saturday mornings to tap along to and put you on a happy mood... give em a go!

I dont know anywhere else where you can get a plate of bacon and eggs for $6 !…read more Emilios has a regular clientele, with staff talking to people by name, checking on their families and talking about up coming holidays. Staff are friendly, happy and attentive. The vibe is friendly bustling energetic.. Coffee is by elixir esspresso, using a smooth sweet blend. Big range to choose from, everything from cakes and muffins to quiches and lasagne, with gluten free options available, and did i mention the all day breakfast. My breakfast was simple but delicious and hot, as was my coffee. Only downside, they are closed sundays so i cant have brunch.
