We ate at this Bojangles on a previous visit to the area, was hoping it would be under new management. Reading the reviews, it is not. When we asked an employee why things were so bad- basically was told because the owner just does not care. avoid this one, until someone that cares takes over. read more

The woman who works the front counter I think four maybe five days a week is the rudest person I have come across to Work food service. She has no business being around the public.. she just slammed my order down and if there's anything open, I will be going back there but I'm not gonna ever go back to this restaurant again. This Bojangles location is much better than the one near our house. We used the drive-thru and our order was quick and complete. It was also accurate which is nice when you go to a fast food drive-thru. The chicken was obviously fresh and had just come out of the cooker. Another plus. They included plenty of napkins for us that was appreciated as well. Overall it was a good experience. The staff took the time to make sure this happened and they should be recognized for doing that. We are from out of state and were excited to try something different. Got to the restaurant and waited for almost 15 minutes. In that time, nobody acknowledged us or the several other people waiting in line. At one point, a lady in front of us asked if they were even taking orders. A man behind the counter stated that they were taking door dash orders and drive through orders, and that if we wanted food service, it would be faster to go through the drive through. Staff was not friendly or apologetic. Did not say anything to customers other than telling us to go through the drive through. Maybe they should be taking every other order from door dash or something, rather than blatantly ignoring the customers who are physically in the establishment. Would not recommend and will not be returning. There are many other choices for food in the area. Don't waste your time here. read more

My first & last visit there. Went there on Mother's Day and ordered a 12 Piece Chicken Meal. Drove home to discover they gave me 6 small thighs and 6 drumsticks. No variety whatsoever. They messed up the sides as well. Okay, at least I got sides, but the Mac & Cheese was dried out and old. The beans had a hair inside the container. The chicken was extremely greasy, as if it had been soaking grease from the previous day or two. $40 for a bag of sh**. If was the owner, I would have returned and fired everyone and shut the doors for 30 days. Bottom Line: I should have gone to Lowe's Foods. read more

Food was great! -Tasting... I was recommended to eat Bo's more south, because it's "better" but I think it just might have been here only. Don't waste your time. Out of coffee at breakfast. Drive thru said "out of chicken" at dinner. Staff playing on their phones while I waited 15 Minutes. I left. Religious music playing in dining room, staff cursing in kitchen. MF, GD and F this place. Really sad. read more

I'm a huge fan of Bojangles and have been to many stores across NC. This however, is by far, the worst Bojangles I've ever tried to use. I figured once or twice, maybe they were having a bad day. Since I moved to Southport I've gone here a total of 5 times. I've learned my lesson now and won't be back. Incredibly slow service (20 minutes to cook a chicken breast?). Wrong orders. Kid taking the order seemed like he was in a daze (drugs maybe?). After being pushed to the side at the drive thru and waiting another 10 minutes kid comes out and tells me it'll be another 15 mins to cook the chicken. I went inside to talk to the manager. She's dazed and confused too. I managed to get a refund, but then they throw my food in the trash. Other stores have happily brought out a slow order, and then handed me cash as apology for slow service. Guess that's not how they roll here. One night at dinner the red headed girl in the back is singing and dancing and swearing and having a fun time, but no one was working very hard at making chicken. The hot table was empty. No food pre-prepared at a fast food restaurant? When I did manage to get a quarter white dinner served to me it was dried out chicken and undercooked biscuit. Can they do nothing right here? The list of problems goes on and on but I won't bore you all. 5 attempts, 5 fails. I give up. I've noticed now that the drive thru lane is almost always empty when I pass by while nearby Wendy's is wrapped around the building. I don't know how they've managed to make a Bojangles fail, but I suspect this place will be closed soon. read more

Would give it a less rating if possible. This restaurant is CONSTANTLY out of stuff. From cups, to food items, etc. Service was the absolute most terrible service that could ever be expected but actually has picked up some but now they are out of things or 5 minute wait for common items. Please just go ahead and make this another fast food restaurant. read more

Was rushed to order. Ordered a grilled chicken sandwich combo, chicken tenders with fries, Bo berry biscuits, and a sandwich. Didn't receive a receipt. Was missing an order of fries for one of the combos and the ranch we asked for.. girl who took our order was rude, girl at the window was nice. Unbelievable what I experienced. I was the only one inside, and the guy taking my order had no clue how to ring my order. He constantly stared at the register as if they were alien to him. After coaching him through it, I got to wait. And I wait as they literally have no chicken cooked. During this time, I get to watch an employee walk out and quit right in front of me with the manager chasing and berating her . After arguing in the front foyer, they both come back, with the employee literally sneezing right on my tray as she passed by. This employee then gets into an argument with another employee about who is getting off work first ! In the mean time, another employee working the drive through rushes pass me on his way out to catch a customer to give him something he apparently forgot. Got to see him stop at the door on his way out to pull up his pants that, by that time, were literally around his knees. Guess the dress code there is "hip". Although his dirty gray underwear wasn't something I'd planned on seeing. As I continued to wait, I learn that the shift in the morning was to blame for mine and all the workers there's problems. Finally, after another 10 minutes of listening to the manager berating literally all of her employees and them blowing her off and laughing at her, I walked out. read more

Drove through today, on a rainy Sunday that was very slow. Ordered a meal and an extra butter biscuit. Biscuit came with no butter. Tried to call after we left but no one answered. When we were there, there was at least 4 people standing around not working, but they still couldn't get butter on a butter biscuit. read more

Ordered a plain egg biscuit. Just biscuit and egg. They gave me a biscuit that was barely golden, quite undercooked, with egg and cheese on it. Not to mention the biscuit was falling apart. Also ordered a code red Mountain Dew (which is on the menu) and they claimed they didn't serve it at this location. My fries were stale and cold. I understand a mistake, but this was a bit much. Might get things done if people wanted to work. I sat in line for 10min. For starters the gentleman asked me order when ready after waiting 4 min. I say my order, and he says "can you repeat that". Dont ask me to order if you are not ready. Very snobby. read more

Service slow and rude/unfriendly employees. The employee in the back yelling at the front end employees. We have to wait for 20 mins 4 chicken tenders and 2 order of fries. Just picked up and brought home a box of Bojangle chicken to find out it is missing biscuits, napkins, and sauces. We live 6 miles away so it is pointless to go back. Very poor service or management lacking quality control of its employees. I wish there were another bojangle nearby. This is not the first time we came home with stuff missing. read more

Absolutely 100% agree with the other negative reviews of this particular Bojangles. I wonder if the owner ever visits? No way this is corporate-owned. I've been a fan of Bojangles for 30+ years and eat it about once a month so I'm familiar with what's normal for Bojangles. I have visited this location 5 or 6 times and every visit I had poor service and terrible food. My opinion is the employees simply don't give a crap which equates to bad service and food. Corporate needs to know about this location. Either everyone needs to be fired or the place bulldozed. No way I can stand driving past a Bojangles knowing I can't eat there. read more

Bojangles normally has fantastic food, while the food wasn't bad, the experience was atrocious. Everyone was so unfriendly and acted like you were a burden for being there. Coffee wasn't prepared and didn't have a high selection of food prepared. After all this, once my food was finished some other people in my group were still finishing and someone found a piece of plastic in a bo-round! We went two weeks ago for breakfast and they were out of biscuits. We waited probably 10-15 minutes before we could order. Went back today and the service was horrible. The employees were yelling at each other, they couldn't keep up with their tickets and we finally had to tell the associate where our food was in the biscuit bin. Ugh! This bojangles gives all other bojangles a bad rep for how terrible it is. I am a bojangles enthusiast and can realize this one is awful. The employees are lazy and rude. It is not clean and I saw ants by the sweet tea which is disgusting. Not to mention the worker did not put on gloves to touch food. The absolute worst part of this bojangles is it's sad excuse for a biscuit. Their biscuits (which is the best thing bojangles has to offer) have the taste and texture of dry wall. Slow service, you wait 20 minutes for 4 chicken tenders... when they tell you they will be ready in 2. Food is always hard and burnt.

Staff was not friendly, in fact when we walked in we were the only people in the restaurant, and took roughly 3 minutes for someone to acknowledge our presence. Food was decent at best. Mashed potatoes were lukewarm. The grilled chicken club sandwich was ok. With other options in the area, I would recommend going elsewhere. read more
