Food is usually good, but not having a human to take your order is terrible! A robot is not very good representation of your company, and is wrong a lot of the time. I usually leave feeling aggravated, and go elsewhere to avoid this hassle. read more

Have never eaten at Bojangles, and we were in need of a quick dinner. Biscuits are good. Macaroni and cheese was okay. Mashed potatoes tasted like they were made from a powder. We asked if "they" had butter, and the girl working the checkout said "Yes". She then said she threw four packets of something into our bag. Got back home and discovered - no butter. Road trip to North Carolina to the famed Tail of the Dragon. What do I notice driving thru Tennessee? For some reason I remembered back in the day a music duo at an old BBQ place in Driftwood, Texas that covered Mr. Bojangles circa 1970. My memory was from the late 80's or early 90's. The town we eventually settled in did have much in the way of viable cuisine. Plus, our first night was in New Orleans and we went wild for my birthday. So, couple of cheap meals to keep the trip budget in check. Friends and I decided to head back to Murphy, NC to check out the local antiques scene, grab some needed supplies from Walmart. Tried my first Cheerwine! After hitting the cute downtown scene; headed to Bojangles for their alleged 100 step biscuit making process. Might be stretching that last statement; but this key bread element dwarfs almost every chicky competitor out there. Eat your heart out Popeye's. We dined in which was nice; super friendly folks at the counter. We all ordered and sat down to tally the observations. The individual biscuit ordered stuffed with pimento cheese was something you can barely find in Texas (and friggin' amazing). I found the two meat white (breast, wing) lacking in the skin crunch category. So, I went back to the other plain biscuit and applied honey. Well, this was clearly a one bread race which this place OWNED. Friends at the table ordered the chicken sandwich; chicken strip plate. GF ordered her fave 3 wing plate. Sides were interesting. I mean, how is it Cajun pintos when the rest of the known south swears it's missing white rice? Dirty rice looked more like Chinese fried rice; mashed taters with brown gravy that put KFCs offering to shame. Green beans start out of a can and get some minor upgrades and were flavorful compared to local spots in Texas. In truth, Bojangles gets more stars for the biscuit and pimento cheese! read more

I came in around 8 o'clock and only ordered a large fry, "with extra seasoning on the side or on the fries". Then I wait at the window for 8 minutes which wasn't a problem because I figured they were dropping fresh fry's or something considering I was the only one in the drive thru it made since because why else would it take so long. When I finally received my large fry they were hard and lukewarm warm as if they have sat under a lamp for a few hours... with no seasoning on the fry's or on the side. Please talk to the staff or something to fix this! This isn't the first time at all it happens almost every other time I go, sadly I'm a local so there's not another restaurant close or I would definitely go there instead. This is very annoying paying 6$ for something I didn't really ask for. My God is it that hard to sprinkle seasoning on a 6$ fry? Luckily Zaxbys gives me seasoning when I ask so I put it on the fry's. :| I wish there was a no star option. read more

Bojangles is Bojangles. They can have hot, tasty menu items...sometimes they don't. Overall, this location does a decent job of giving you fresh food and trying to do so quickly. I do like that their chicken has flavor & the biscuits are tasty. read more

I am thinking new management is in this place. The food is fresh and ready the last few times I have been there. The service has been outstanding and we have not had to wait for chicken to be prepared. The bonus is that the music has changed. Sixties and seventies classic rock is much better than the stuff they were playing. read more

I drove an hour here because it's the closest bojangles to my house, and I usually love love love it. I ordered a chicken supreme and when i bit into the chicken, it seemed a little undercooked so I looked at it and it was a barely cooked piece of chicken covered in bread. The other three pieces were cooked a little more, but not fully. I wasted two hours of my day from driving there and back only to possibly end up with salmonella. Will not be back. read more

Bojangles is normally my most favorite chicken place to go. Yet the one in Murphy I absolutely refuse to go to. They are extremely sloppy always messing my order up. I mean come on now. The biscuits were very tasty - made fresh. Chicken was not greasy, at all. Nice flavor on fried chicken and chicken biscuit sandwiches. Best of all, they had homemade blueberry biscuits with a sugar glaze. These were a wonderful surprise: smelled good, tasted heavenly - sort of a cross between a scone and a biscuit. Been two times thru Drive thru to get two Cajun filet clubs and get home with just chicken lettuce and tomato. No bacon or cheese.

I was anxious to try the fried chicken, but it was pretty much the same as KFC. Zaxby's fried chicken is far superior. The roasted chicken bites were vile, like eating something soft and rubbery. The biscuits are excellent, the coleslaw is very good and the sweet tea is great. I'm glad I tried it so I can cross it off my fried chicken list. read more

We're staying at a nearby RV Park and my wife drove to Bojangles for carryout. We had Chicken Fingers, Biscuits and Cole Slaw. The chicken was super tender with a great crust, biscuits were flaky and flavorful and the coleslaw was just fantastic! read more

Caution! Always carefully check the order you receive. My $13 eight piece box contained only seven chicken pieces: three wings, two drums, one breast and one thigh! I opened the box when I received it and pointed the error out to the server who excused that I had an "extra large breast". Say what? I called the manager over whose "solution" was to add another drum to the box. Really? The ads picture two beasts, two thighs, two drums and two wings. That is definitely NOT what I received. It seems the ad photos are merely suggestions. More likely it depends upon who is working. I am convinced this particular Murphy Bojangle's shift cheated me and my family. Husband and I were in this store one store a week ago and it still bugs me...the store is clean as it's new...employee were cordial...but we were very disappointed with the food...My wrap had a cut up piece cartilage (approx1/2 in long in it) ...the tortilla that was used was 1 /2 full and the rest was wadded up in the bottom of the wrap...the coating on the chicken pieces was thick....the last straw was a secret 10 cent charge for a water glass...I do not understand the philosophy they do nothing to warrant the higher prices they charge with KFC a mile down the road. read more

This place is just wonderful. Traveling out of town, staying at a Hotel across the street with hungry children. I called and ask a load of questions about thier menu, unfamiliar with eating at a Bojangles, the lady was super sweet and very helpful. By the time I pulled in they had my order ready at the drive through. Will be eating at this location again!!!!!
