The Cajun filet biscuit is the best thing on the menu, in my opinion. Crispy, spicy, juicy, downright delicious. Tied for second place in the standings is the egg and cheese biscuit and the gravy biscuit. The biscuits have a slightly crunchy and chewy outside with a soft, fluffy inside; the word "texture" does not fully describe the explosion of the melange occurring in ones mouth while devouring the buttery treat. I once heard someone actually killed for a Bojangles biscuit (I didn't actually hear that, but I am sure that in the realms of time, someone met their unfortunate demise while a Bojangles biscuit was nearby, perhaps being consumed). Best of all, these breakfast items are served all day. That's right! Bojangles reinvented "breakfast food all day" years before McDonalds decided to follow in their profitable footsteps. Most locations play Christian music, so you don't have to worry about your kids' minds being poisoned by the likes of Ke$ha, Fetty Wop, or LMFAO (apologies to you Atheists, Wiccan, and party rockers). I was told it would be a 15 minute wait on what I ordered cool whatever that's why I came inside but then the girl who took my order went to the back at the 15 min mark and I heard her ask why haven't you dropped the chicken yet? I've never ever had an experience like this and it's quite crazy how these girls in here don't care. It's currently 7:30pm I paid at 7 on the dot. I will say I've been entertained by staff cursing each other out, sarcastically saying if the manager was here she wouldn't be happy, staff talking about people in the drive thru who are upset about their orders and the wait time. One girl she was heavy set with black and green long curly braids said well she can wait for 1,000 minutes when the person has already been in line for 17 minutes. I ordered two large green beans and two Mac and cheese and the girl in the kitchen told another girl she wasn't making anymore so I'd have to figure something else out. ( I swear the more I pray for patience God truly sends a test bc excuse me!?! ) I got a container and a half of green beans no Mac and cheese. The chicken inside was shaped, with real and startling precision, like the state of South Carolina, complete with a little coastal flourish where Charleston would be. I have now opened at least eleven of these biscuits over the past eleven weeks and every single fillet inside bears the same coastline, which either means Chick-fil-A employs a cook with a very specific and very committed sense of cartography, or something else is going on that I don't have the security clearance to understand. The receipt comes out the same way every time, printed and delivered by an employee who has clearly seen it before and has decided, correctly, that this is not the hill to react on. A man ordering a chicken biscuit under the alias of a beloved television actor's poultry-based alter ego is, to this staff, simply a day that ends in "Y." I have enormous respect for a team that will not give me the reaction I am so clearly fishing for. Jeri was there this Saturday, at a table near the window, wearing a cardigan with a multi-cat T-shirt busy enough to qualify as a small weather event, and she said hello to every single person who walked past her, including several people who did not appear to know her and one man who was clearly trying to get to the bathroom. She has been doing this for as long as anyone can remember, greeting the entire restaurant one table at a time like a woman running for a very small, very beloved office. Nobody has ever seen her in a bad mood. I have started to suspect this is less a personality trait and more a structural feature of the building, like the ceiling. Upon entering, one of the cooks was at the jukebox changing the music. I have only ever seen this in movies! The wait staff were energetic and on our order without missing a beat. Our waittress, Pam, was a real gem. She was always on top of refilling our water and my delicious decaf coffee, and even gave me a playful slap on the shoulder after I had the audacity to ask for syrup with our waffles - of course we'd get syrup! That's like asking for ketcuhp with fries. Pam made me feel at home at the last place I thought possible :) The food, without doubt, was my favorite meal of the year. Did I spend 7 hours in the cold on my bike before this, and have an appetite ravenous for fat and salt? Yes, definitely. But that does not detract from how amazing my steak hash bowl and waffle were. Loaded up with sauce and extra eggs, the bowl was ultra satisfying. The namesake waffle was soft, buttery, syrupy, and extraordinary. I tried a bite of my friend's biscuit with gravy, and proceeded to mutter some spiritual words under my breath. I enjoyed my food slowly, in good company of my friends, squished into a small booth. QT management, I found a gem of an employee at this location on the afternoon of 3/14/25. My daughter and I love stopping at QT for a Coke icee on roadtrips, which is a 1x a year event. And on our one trip of 2025, the Coke flavor wasn't working. Charles jumped into action--he swiftly got to the machine, immediately assessed the situation, and told me it needed to defrost. MOST employees would have stopped there with just OK customer service. But not Charles. My daughter and I got to the counter and he comped my daughter's drink and gave me three coupons to use on future drinks. I thanked him profusely and made sure I caught the name on his badge.
