The interior is not the cleanest. The service was good. The food was good, but they were out of a lot of things.

This is one of the most popular fast food joints in the SouthEast US. It's new to me as a native Californian. Eating at Bojangles probably should be one of the must to-do to becoming a North Carolinian. You can easily drive to this location after shopping at the nearby Food Lion without having to go back on the main road (North Lake Park Boulevard). I tried their popular cajun chicken biscuit sandwich ($3.69), a bo-berry biscuit ($0.99), and a side of regular fries ($1.69). I ordered it through their drive-thru, which was quick and easy. The Cajun chicken biscuit comes plain, just a deep fried breaded (flour) biscuit sandwiched in between a biscuit cut in half. I didn't know that so I wished they asked me If I wanted any sauces to go with it. The chicken does have a mildy spicy Cajun seasoning that gives it flavor, but it definitely needs a sauce to make it more moist to eat. I didn't like how the chicken thickness was uneven. A quarter of it was pounded thin and then the rest of the chicken was over three times as thick. What they get right are the biscuits. The biscuits are one of the better biscuits you'll ever eat, especially for a fast food place. They hit all the criteria of what a biscuit should be- fluffy, soft, buttery flavor, and baked with a golden brown topping. Now that being said, I wasn't a big fan of the bo-berry biscuit. It's more like a dense blueberry coffee cake topped with a sugary sweet icing. They accidentally gave me two biscuits when I asked for one. That would have been a good thing if I actually liked them. The fries were steak-cut style, crispy. I liked the sweet and salty seasoning on the fries but it was not evenly dispersed. The fries definitely needed more seasoning. If I eat at a Bojangles again, I would stick to the plain biscuit sandwiches and remember to ask for their sauces.

Chicken biscuit!!! Avoid this Bojangles!!!! EVERY THING OVER COOKED AND COLD!!

Way too expensive for fried chicken. Not family economical. Service was good. Taste fair at best.

I even walked over a mile to get there... so if this burger was bad, I was going to have a very long, disappointing walk back. Thankfully, that wasn't a problem. I ordered the double cheeseburger Carolina-style with chili, slaw, mustard, and onions. A Carolina-style burger... in Carolina Beach. It just felt right. First of all, this thing was HUGE. The beef was incredibly well seasoned with those crisp, lacy edges. The chili had just enough sweetness, the mustard brought the perfect tang, and the onions added that fresh crunch. Then there's the toasted potato bun--still the undisputed champion of burger buns--and the perfectly melted cheese holding this glorious mess together. What makes this place even cooler is that it started in a gas station back in 2017. Now it's one of the most talked-about burger spots around. It's considered by many to be the third best burger in North Carolina and after one bite, I completely understand why. Sometimes the best food comes from the places you'd least expect. Despite being busy, the food came out surprisingly fast, and the staff kept things moving without missing a beat. Final score: 9.8/10. This officially takes the #1 spot on the Ev's Eats Best Burger List... for now. Every burger from here on out has a new standard to chase. #CarolinaBeach #IslandBurgersAndBites #NorthCarolinaEats #NCEats NCFood

If you're looking for one of those places where everything just lines up--the weather, the food,…read morethe mood--this is it. Out on the pier at Tiki Bar & Ocean Grill, you've got a front-row seat to the Atlantic, and on a day like today, it doesn't get much better. Blue sky, sun hitting the water just right, and a breeze that reminds you why people have been coming to the coast long before fancy resorts showed up. Food Simple answer: they've got it dialed in. Fresh, well-prepared, and exactly what you want at the beach. No overthinking it--just good coastal food done right. That's how it's supposed to be. Service Friendly, easygoing, and attentive without hovering. The kind of service that makes you feel welcome but doesn't interrupt your view--or your drink. Atmosphere This is where they really win. Sitting out over the water with string lights overhead and waves rolling in? That's hard to beat anywhere. Now, yes--the beach itself has those big metal pipes running through for replenishment. Not exactly postcard material. But here's the truth: once you're up on that pier, looking out over the ocean, it barely matters. The view still does what it's supposed to do--makes you slow down and stay a while. Final Take Great food, solid service, and a view that carries the whole experience. Even with the beach work going on, this place delivers what a coastal spot should: good eats, cold drinks, and a reason to sit a little longer than you planned. If the weather's right, don't overthink it--grab a seat, order something simple, and enjoy it the way folks have been doing for generations.

We waited 10 minutes to be greeted once we sat down but that's because the hostess didn't let the waitress know we were there. There was no wait to be seated because we called ahead and got out on the list. Our waitress was so nice and checked on us regularly and the food was great! I got the all you can eat crab legs and they were cooked perfectly and there was no delay with more. Just wish they had those tiny forks to help get the crab meat out. Women's bathroom was clean. Live band was playing which gave it an extra beachy feel. There was something questionable on the tv (not appropriate for kids), but I'm not sure if that's the restaurants fault really. Overall good experience and hope to return!

"Seafood and sports bar on main road in Carolina Beach"…read more Stopped here with a group of 5 on a Friday night in summer, drawn in by the signs about all-you-can-eat crab legs. We arrived at 6pm, and waited maybe 20 minutes for a table. When asked if we wanted indoor or outdoor, we said either was fine as long as not full-sun (some tables were full-sun). Sadly, we were placed at one of the full-sun tables initially. Luckily, when we fussed a bit, they got us a table inside. The restaurant is quite large, with a truly indoor area as well as mostly covered outdoor ones-- we were fortunate to get a truly indoor one, since it was quite hot. The menu was a bit eclectic-- seafood dishes, sandwiches, chicken, and burgers, and lots of drinks. I opted for the fish tacos, since that was reasonably priced-- something like $12-15. The AYCE crab legs were $59-- no thanks! I added a side-salad and also got a fried pickle appetizer for the table. It was a Friday night and busy, but I will say service was SLOW and frankly not great. Took us maybe 15 minutes to get asked what we'd like to order. The fried pickles came almost 30 minutes later. And the meal maybe another 15-20 minutes after that. Our server also seemed almost "put off" whenever we asked for anything, too... like basic flatware after our food arrived. He wasn't great with questions either. Though he did check on us a couple of times. Food was pretty good. The fish tacos were tasty, though one person noted that they were rather minimally seasoned and could have been really great with more. The fried dishes were "fine". One thing to note is the portions are HUGE for many dishes-- one of us got the captain's basket or something, and he's a big eater, but this was way more than he could finish. Similarly, one of us who got the chicken tender platter noted it was really, really big. On the one hand, that's good, but on the other, you're also paying the extra price since the prices were also proportionately higher. The fish tacos were a good compromise-- basically the right amount of food for one person and a decent price. The bathroom was not especially clean-- the soap dispenser was broken and on the side, and it looked like the space hadn't been serviced. The doors to the restrooms were also sticky such that they'd sometimes be left propped open. Overall, I'd say this place was OK but definitely could have been better. I liked my food fine, but the service was definitely underwhelming. One exception-- the lady working the bar was very helpful. There are a lot of GREAT restaurants in Carolina Beach, so this one doesn't do great by comparison.
