The purpose of the plaque was to hang it in a special place (one of his favorite hangouts) so friends and family have a special place to visit and remember him. Laurette at ABC signs made my vision become a reality and if anything they completely exceeded my expectations. They put together a beautiful design for the engraving, even better than I had initially imagined it would be. Although I had no major deadline or timeline, they turned it around in a matter of a few days which blew me away. Thank you ABC signs for exceeding my expectations and creating a really beautiful design!

So excited to wear my wedding ring again! What really stood out to me (besides the quality of their work) was how great they are. It's a husband-and-wife owned business, and you can truly feel the care they put into what they do. They were so helpful and honest. It was a pleasure working with them. Their pricing is also unbeatable--I had looked at other jewelry stores in the area, and no one came close to their prices for jewelry. They also have a beautiful selection in-store, including a larger collection of vintage jewelry, plus both lab diamonds (artificially made real diamonds- not CZ) and natural diamonds for engagement rings. I also love that they offer in-store repairs and custom jewelry, which is hard to find. If you're looking for a trustworthy, skilled, and fairly priced jeweler, I highly recommend Star Diamonds. I'll be going back for sure!

We enjoyed a top notch experience here for custom framing from start, assistance choosing the right…read moreframe stock, to expertly framed finish for a mismatched but related (same artist) trio of spendy prints that needed to work as grouping on a living room wall. Our interior designer stepped in, when I found myself completely 'out of gas' after selecting the prints for her to source, to recommend Finer Frames to do the work because she knew they did great work and with good turnaround times too. Right on all counts! We have a lot of custom framed art in our home, collected by working with framing galleries over the last 40 years as we moved around, and so I very much appreciated that the gallery owner, Meg, who was also the framer for our prints approached it with the eye of an artist, which she also is. Her frame stock recommendation resulted in the perfect choice. The work was expertly done and the turnaround time was excellent too. We have used a couple of other framing galleries in the area over the last seven years, we have been happy with both businesses for their strengths but also knowing their weaknesses we chose one or the other depending on the project. But Finer Frames will now be our one and only choice going forward for any project. VIBE: If you're like my husband and me who love both galleries and looking at framing materials, this will be a veritable candy land of options to consider. Also, the vibe inside was all "chillax" with jazz on the sound system and ample space in between items to look about. I said, and I'm not kidding, that depending on time of day I'd like to linger with cup of coffee or glass of wine in hand and soak it all in for an extended time. LOCATION: Downtown Eagle located and while parking there can be difficult, Finer has the advantage of their own small parking lot. ACCESSIBILITY: One ADA parking (van access compliant) spot right outside the side entry door which is level into the all one one floor space with ample room to maneuver. As a customer with multiple sclerosis, which I've had since college years, I notice when a business does a good job of making it accessible like this. PS: The happy PS to the art being framed is that the man who Meg and our designer both recommended to hang it did a top notch job too. See review for Precision Artwork Installation (owner Russ Linn).
