Francis, the owner of Boise Dryer Vent Cleaning, came out to our home on his afternoon off to help us with what we thought was an issue. We had a different dryer vent company come out that morning who told us they couldn't even clean our vents and that it would cost at least $426 to fix a problem they identified. They ran a test with a handheld box that said we were getting almost no air flow in the dryer. Francis came out, took one look at our dryer and vents, and said there were no problems. He cleaned the vents (which were not even very dirty), checked the dryer, and everything was perfect. Francis did a superb job for me--taking more care with my vent system and the dryer itself that I would ever have expected. He crawled into the low crawl space to check that the vent pipe was connected well, vacuumed and rotary brushed the entire length of the system from both inside and outside, attached a new outdoor flapper at the vent outlet to replace my broken one, and lastly, took apart the front of the dryer to make certain that every crevice that could contain lint and dirt was vacuumed clean. We were having to run our dryer through 3 cycles to dry the clothing. We had gone to the local hardware store for a fix for keeping the dryer vent attached without pinching the hose. When Francis arrived he explained why this was not working suggested a different arrangement for placement of the dryer in a small laundry room. This has solved the issue with keeping the venting attached. He was punctual for the appointment and explained what he would be doing. He did a thorough job of completing the cleaning of the dryer and the vent. His prices were comparable with others and I will be using his service again in the future. Francis is very efficient and thorough. As the owner of the company (Boise Dryer Vent Cleaning ) he does all the work himself, which in this day and age, is almost completely unheard of. He replaced 12 feet of corrugated hose with galvanized pipe, placed hangers; installed a new cap and cleaned the system. The dryer vent had never been cleaned; we purchased the house 3 years ago and who knows how long the people who lived here before us were here. I cannot speak highly enough of Mr Burger. Excellent work! I have an extremely convoluted drier vent. It goes up a wall, over a ceiling, down in a U shape through a utility room and then up an entire story out the roof of our house. It was completely blocked to the point where I got an odd burny smell when the drier was run. Francis completely cleaned it for me, went on the roof to confirm the air was flowing again and refused to let me pay him extra when I realized the task was bigger than expected. This business is awesome! Francis the owner came and did my incredibly dirty dryer duct. He did an amazing job and was also friendly. He was in and out in an hour and made sure it was up to his and my standards. It used to take me 3, 60 minute loads to get my clothes warm and dry and now it runs way better!
