This is so little and underwhelming and cost me over $53!

I ordered through Door Dash. One meal of 1/2 lb of shrimp, 1/2 mussels, sausage, boiled eggs, & sausage with a side of rice cost me approx. $53! I thought it be very expensive. Mild spice is actually super spicy. I thought this place is super expensive. I think I didn't get the value of what I paid for.

I haven't had seafood boil in years and was craving it. My SIL told me about Boil Daddy, the newest crab boil restaurant out here. The inside was small and there's only two workers-- a cashier and a cook. This place is very casual, and the prices were very reasonable. The orders came really fast despite us ordering a lot of food. The food was good, the daddy sauce is a must. My mom didn't like the cajun sauce with the shrimp but do what you will with that information. We also had a miscommunication while ordering, however the waitress offered an explanation and helped us order what we were missing. The only downside is that the seafood is frozen, but for the price you're getting good value for what you're paying.

4th time coming here seems they have changed owners.. the place is decorative inside with lights and good 80s music playing. My wife and I got the king crab legs and peeled shrimp.. both 10/10.. the flavor was sooo good!!! The service was fast... definitely coming back for their happy hour..

We had an amazing dinner at Boil Daddy! We all enjoyed the crab boil and wings and got to enjoy sitting outside on a beautiful fall night. Logan was great! He was attentive and sweet and was extremely accommodating. So glad we were able to come in and enjoy such a delicious family meal.

We had 2lbs of shrimp and a pound of Mussels in their Daddy sauce, mildly spicy and it was delicious! So much better than Crab and Spice which had no flavor at all! Had the Calamari too but was too little compared to the accompanying fries. So I would skip on that next time. We had it to go and enjoyed it with some hot steamed rice and vinegar! read more

The food is amazing and very flavorful! We tried the shrimp with daddy sauce, the mild spicy and it had the perfect little kick! We also tried daddy's noods and they were chef's kiss! Horray!! Finally we don't have to drive to the Valley for Boiling Crab!! There's so much flavor and the shrimp was plump and juicy!! We got the original Daddy sauce (non spicy) and it was so good!! The price point was great for what we got. I've tried all the seafood boil in SCV and this one hits! I recommend if you have a big group to take it to go. Cons: We just ordered our food from DoorDash and I have to say how disappointed I was... I ordered a full order of fries and got enough to only feed one small toddler!! And the potatoes were 2 whole small potatoes cut in half instead of 5 potatoes. The rice was undercooked as well. Pros: The shrimp boil was good and the shrimps were good size. The flavor was a little bit on the sweeter side. All in all, I wasn't too happy with the portion sizes. But the flavor was decent. read more

This was our first time here. We ordered one of the family shareable options. It included shrimp, lobster, crab legs, sausage, corn and potatoes. It did not disappoint! We ate every bit of what we ordered and it was smothered in the Daddy sauce. What set this place apart is the employee Logan! When I called to see what time they closed he was so welcoming! Once we got to the establishment and walked in Logan greeted us very kindly. He made the experience even more worthwhile with his conversation and kindness! The environment is cute and quaint. The music was a cool vibe. It's a hidden gem and we will be going back very soon. read more

As soon as you walk in the aroma is so appetizing! The food was excellent and the music was good. The service wasn't so great though. The person taking our order forgot our rice and potatoes and didn't seem to care that they had forgotten either. Then we were told they could get the rice but we'd have to wait 15 min. We said that was fine. They came back a few minutes later saying they were out of rice. The food was so good thought that I'll give it another shot. Hopefully we have better service next time. read more

This place is Great! I was working in the area and stopped in for a small bite to eat. I had well done Wings and Garlic fries... I love wings and I'm very picky, but let me tell you, it is worth it!!! I got to meet the Owner Ruzan, she was extremely nice! I will definitely be back every time I'm in the area. I'm a big hot n juicy fan and I can never find a seafood boil that compares in flavor, but the boil daddy was delicious and honestly their flavors were even better. We ordered snow crab, mussels, sausage, wings and fries. My husband requested extra crispy wings and they actually made them per request. The flavors of the wings were good especially the soy garlic. We got the daddy sauce for the seafood it was very flavorful. They weren't stingy with the sauce either. And to top it all off the lady at the counter was sooo kind, she gave us tablecloths and gloves so we didn't make our hotel room a disaster LOL. I recommend this place and I'd definitely come back on our next trip to California. Was too hungry to take photos ;( read more

Customer service is amazing. The owner is very nice the cashier he is such a sweetheart and very professional. We ordered the crab legs. It came with three sausages and a potato cut in half the crab legs are not the largest, but the food is good. The only thing I would say is the daddy sauce is beyond salty. Maybe if they put less salt in it it would be better but all in all the food is good the pricedoesn't really match the quantity but it's good. read more

If you asked me how I felt about The Boil Daddy, I would say it's delicious. If you were to ask me on a deeper level, I would tell you that the customer service is top tier, the food is fresh and is bursting with flavor, and the clam chowder has taken up residence in my heart. If TBD has 1,000,000 fans, I'm one of them. If TBD has 100 fans, I'm one of them. If TBD has one fan, it's me. If TBD has no fans, it means I'm deceased. Ok, so this review is for their current state - in a soft opening. If they were fully open, my review may be slightly different. We got the Shrimp bowl (comes with rice, sausage and potatoes) and a Shrimp po boy with the cajun fries Everything tasted really good, and the place smells fantastic. Seafood was fresh and cooked perfectly. Service was friendly and helpful too. They are still about a month away from opening so the place isn't decorated yet, and they appear to be working out some other minor things. We have a few suggestions...the bowl had way way too much of the sauce in it (maybe service it with less but then offer extra if someone wants it?). The po' boy bread to filling was a bit off (good fillings but the bread is too big). The cajun fries were good but too lightly seasoned. All of these are minor and won't stop us from going again. We will be back again! read more

Great food and great service. The combos are really worth the price and the depth of flavor in the sauce really seaps into the seafood. It's got side of sweetness thats really pleasant. I would definitely say that if you are used to how hot the medium spicy at the Boiling Crab is, you'll definitely think the medium here is on the mild side, so I'd recommend getting hot. read more

Honestly the food was okay, nothing special when it came to the taste. Was kind of expecting more with only ordering 1/2 pound of shrimp with the heads on and had to pay extra for a small corn. I recommend only coming here if there's no where else that you can find Cajun cooking. And they close super early. The ambiance is definitely casual/fast food style. Don't recommend for date night. Was craving seafood boil and decided to try this place out. It was amazing! Service was great and I wish I caught her name, but the lady with short hair who helped us was the sweetest. We ordered 2 clusters of snow crab, 1 lb of shrimp, 1 lb of crawfish, 1/2 lb of mussels, and extra orders of rice, potatoes, and corn. Everything was tasty and seasoned well. First-time visitors from Oxnard, CA (about an hour away), and we had an amazing experience! Ruzan warmly welcomed us as soon as we walked in and went above and beyond to accommodate our 9-month-old baby by providing a high chair and suggesting baby-friendly food options. And by dry, it disintegrates when you chew. I didn't taste much curry flavor. It really felt like I was eating a healthy alternative to pizza oddly. Like a salad and breadsticks. We both agree that the burgers lacked basic salt or some type of seasoning. Plus, others have mentioned the frozen patty thing. OK, owner, don't get defensive, even if your burger meat is fresh and not frozen, they are hard and tasteless. Not sure if the owner ( only guy running the place ) is willing to take constructive criticism but if you're not getting repeat customers, you know why! Two people, simple burgers, one fry and one drink and it was almost $40 (included tip) Good luck Wanted Grill, get help in the kitchen or move to a Food Truck and good luck with the business in these times, there is potential with that place!

I recently visited Boil Daddy in Valencia and had such a great experience! From the moment we walked in, the staff was welcoming and attentive. The restaurant has a fun, casual vibe that makes it perfect for both family dinners and hanging out with friends. The seafood boil was absolutely delicious--fresh, flavorful, and cooked perfectly. The seasoning options are spot on, with just the right amount of spice (I recommend medium if you like a little kick without it being overwhelming). The portions were generous, and everything came out hot and well-prepared. One of the highlights for me was how customizable everything is. You get to pick your seafood, sauce, and spice level, so it really feels like a meal made just for you. The sides were also tasty--don't skip the fries and garlic noodles!
