I can't say enough good things about Dr. Shukla. From the very first visit, she made me feel…read morecomfortable and understood. What stood out most was how empathetic and caring she was on a one-on-one level, listening to my concerns and taking the time to explain every step clearly. She's also extremely responsive; whether it was a quick question or a scheduling concern. Dr. Shukla treated me with patience, kindness, and a genuine commitment to making sure I was happy with my results. I couldn't recommend Dr. Shukla more highly. She has made this whole process much easier, and I'm grateful for her guidance and care. I can genuinely tell she is a good person set on helping people through her practice.

She came up with a treatment plan. I was scared and upset when I first came in because I was told I needed a ton of work, she not only put my mind at ease but saved me thousands. Every time I see her she answers all my questions and always puts my mind at ease. She is so gentle. My one grip with her is she is a little OCD, but I guess you'd want that in a dentist, she wants her work to be as flawless as possible so I can't really complain even though these are some long appointments! But she will keep you entertained :)

I briefly explained the incident to Dr. Tong and before he began the checkup, he made sure I was mentally ok before beginning. That compassion alone made me feel I made the right choice. Dr. Tong explained to me step by step his plans to resolve my issues and even included a few options I could take if I was uncomfortable with certain procedures. The office is incredibly relaxing. It felt more like a living room than a doctors office. His staff is AMAZING. The gentleman who prepped me made sure I was comfortable before calling the doctor in to start the consultation. After the consultation, one of the two front desk receptionists explained the game plan the doctor wrote for me flawlessly. The doctor also wrote me a prescription that would have to be filled by my "Unions" pharmacy so I wouldn't have to come out of pocket to pay for it. However, I didn't have all the contact information for my Unions pharmacy to get my prescription filled, but the 2nd receptionist did an amazing job and was able to obtain the info she needed to get my script filled at my unions pharmacy. I know this was a long review, but truth be told, Customer Service has taken a hit after the CV19 Pandemic, so It was a wonderful experience to step into this office where everyone was on the same page, soft spoken and attentive and didn't treat you like a number. First - you have never (no, NEVER) met anymore with more dental phobia than me. I mean. NEVER. I hate the *word* dentist. The thought makes my heart race and my head spin. As a result, I have avoided the dentist almost all my adult life. Please don't judge. Welp. As I have recently discovered, avoiding the dentist is the WORST thing that a person with dental phobia can do! As a result of years of giving in to this crazy fear, my back teeth are now a mess and I need pretttttttttyyyy extensive oral surgery to get myself back on track. Uh. boy. ‍ In Dec 2019 I "stumbled upon" Morris Park Dental and made an appointment to see Dr. Baker on the morning of. She fit me in and although I was LITERALLY shaking in her examination chair, she and her staff were so freakin AMAZING. No. They were like angels from heaven. I was still a WRECK (a full wreck), but Tabita and Jennifer (and there was a hygienist there in Dec who was also very wonderful whose name escapes me) -- supported me like we had been friends for years. I didn't have the surgery right away. What? Are you crazy? I had to have AT LEAST ten therapy sessions and maybe some vodka. I decided I needed a second opinion. Only one problem -- I was too afraid to go to ANYONE else but Dr. Baker! Can you say RIDICULOUS!???!?! I am fully ridiculous. ‍ So, ...I booked a 2nd opinion consultation with HER! Again Tabita and Jennifer were AMAZING but so were Omair and a new lady (Violette? Viola? ..ugh! I should have written down EVERYONE's name). Interestingly, (**) Dr. Baker's findings were the same. Of COURSE. they were! LOL. This visit was more a comfort visit for me (and somewhat like exposure therapy as well I suppose). I am now actually LOOKING FORWARD to getting this blasted surgery done and over with. And honestly, I cannot IMAGINE now having this work done ANYWHERE else. Dr. Baker (and her team) is a GOD SEND and I can't wait to come back here and write "Part 2" of this novel. I am still afraid, but I will go anyway -- and isn't that courage? Well, Dr. Baker and her team gave me that! Get your work done at this place. These people Tabitha, Jennifer, Violette/Viola, Omair and the hygienist there on my first visit were from God. Like, no...from THE LORD!!! If you are afraid... GO SEE MORRIS PARK DENTAL! Thank you so much to everyone there! Like no, THANK YOU!!! You all are sent from heaven. See you soon

Everyone at Morris Park Dental has been very kind, and having multiple dental services available in…read moreone location is convenient. In fact, that convenience and the positive review from my other half was why I chose this practice. Unfortunately, my experience with the financial and insurance side of my treatment has been frustrating and unclear. My advice to patients with dental insurance is simple: contact your insurance company directly before agreeing to treatment. Ask what is covered, what requires prior authorization, what has been submitted, and what your estimated responsibility should be. Do not rely solely on being told that "insurance does not cover it." In my case, I was initially told that insurance would not pay for certain implant-related services. However, after contacting my insurers myself, I learned that both plans provided coverage for the extraction, bone graft, and continuing implant process, provided I proceeded with the treatment. I also repeatedly asked whether claims had been submitted and was told they had been. When I contacted one of my insurance companies, however, a representative told me that no claim had been received from the practice. It appeared that one insurance plan had been billed while the other had not. I paid the balance requested without hesitation because I trusted the practice and its expertise. My concern is not that dental care costs money; my concern is the lack of clear and consistent answers about the total charges, which insurance plans were being billed, what each plan covered, and how my balance was calculated. My calls were not always returned, and the responses I received often felt incomplete. Transparency is extremely important when patients are making costly healthcare decisions. We pay for insurance, deductibles, and other out-of-pocket expenses, so reducing our costs matters to us just as reimbursement matters to a provider. If a practice participates in an insurance network, patients should be given clear information about how those benefits are being used. Morris Park Dental may still be a convenient option for people seeking several services in one place, and the staff members I encountered were pleasant. However, patients should read every document carefully, request an itemized treatment plan and billing statement, verify all claims directly with their insurance companies, and get financial explanations in writing before paying or proceeding. As the saying goes, "All that glitters is not gold." Ask questions and independently confirm the answers.

I make it habit to arrived to medical appointments on time to show I respect their time. I haven't been here since last year because they are not respective of their patients' time. I was called in for X-rays which took 5-6 minutes. Next, I was asked to be seated outside both hygienist's room to wait. As I'm waiting time is going by so I'm here 35 minutes and the cleaning of my teeth have not begun. I support all my union efforts so I use the recommended vendors and I take care of my teeth so it's not intensive work to be done. Therefore, in and out should be the way. I think Hutchinson Metro Dental practice is proficient in the actual cleaning of my teeth but inefficient in scheduling. I think I'll be leaving at 2:30 even though I arrived on time. It's 1:44 now and I'm still waiting. I left the dentist at 2:35. Also the waiting area is still too small even though covid restrictions have been lifted they need more space. Receptionists are genuinely customer friendly but the rest of the staff fake friendly. I'm going to give 3 stars because the facility is clean and the skills of medical staff are good.

The bathroom tiles got fixed and they fixed and painted walls. Staff here is nice esp the xray guy and hygienist that cleaned my teeth today. My issue and the reason i lowered from 4 to 3 stars is lack of communication and the time i spent here today for just X-rays, cleaning and evaluation. I arrived at 1:35pm for my 1:30pm appt to an empty waiting room. I got X-rays done and cleaning by 2:45pm. After that people started coming in and i was waiting. The hygienist told me my usual doctor wasn't there and she would put me with another if that was ok and i agreed. I got up three times from 2:45-4:05pm to ask what was the wait for? First it was that the dentist was running behind and they couldn't say how many were in front of me. Then they said the doctor must have my paper because it wasn't there and people were getting called that just came in. Then i finally told the front seat girl "listen I've been here over 2.5 hours and I'm starting to get frustrated when it was only a cleaning." She realized my paper got lost and put me with the dentist. My teeth are fine besides food getting stuck into my crowns sometimes and they put in for a replacement on a crown I'm still paying on from the fall which was denied so I'm going to deal with the food occasionally getting stuck until my next cleaning in November. I finally walked out of there at 4:25pm. Almost 3 hours later just for a cleaning and evaluation. The staff is nice but please do better. Thankfully i arranged for someone to pick my son up from school ahead of time but this wait time for a cleaning was insane

They suggested I do nearly 10 root canals and pressured me into getting a 4 thousand dollar payment plan to do half of the work. It's been less than a year and one of the crowns has fallen out twice. I saw Dr Schwarz. and he was genuinely upset at me for having oral issues. His quality of care was horrendous and he completely ignored me telling him, " hey the bottom crown feels weird". Guess what crown fell out of my mouth.... I hope people honestly avoid going here.

Worst dental office ever!!! Took my daughter here, came a half an hour earlier than the appointment…read morebecause she was a new patient and I knew forms needed to be completed as well as insurance verified. Their sign says to "sign in and have a seat and they'll call you if additional information is needed". At first I waited for the woman to pick up the chart as she would have saw that I checked off the box for new patient. She didn't acknowledge me standing there, didn't ask what I was waiting for, nothing!! To "respect" their sign, I sat down. The woman picked up the sign in sheet 26 minutes later, 4 minutes before my daughter's appointment time, this is when I was handed new patient forms and was told that she'd call the insurance to verify coverage. After ANOTHER 30 minutes passed, I asked the woman about how long it would be before my daughter was called as I had to go back to work. I reminded her of the appointment time my daughter had versus the time it was, she said 1 person was before her and she didn't know how long AND "there was nothing she could do". My daughter didn't get seen until a whole hour AFTER her appointment time. What's the point of having an appointment if you're not going to see patients at their scheduled times? A doctor knows approximately how long a procedure should take and thus should know how many slots and slot times they allow for a certain amount of people or type of visit. They need to work on scheduling and hospitality. I could see if we were late but we were more than on time. Most offices tell you to come in 15 minutes before the scheduled time - we were there 30 minutes prior.
