We stopped by for lunch on a Monday and pleasantly surprised. We were travelinf through town and hopeful to find a spot for both the vegetarians and meat eaters in our pack. Bohemian Brewery had it all including a mega tasty beet salad, a wonderful selection of soups, and a fan favorite red cabbage kraut that was remarkable. I went here for dinner with a group of friends on our last day visiting Utah. We arrived on a Sunday evening around 6-7 pm and there was a few minute wait for a table for 4. They do not take reservations. We ordered the giant pretzel to share as an appetizer. My partner ordered the old world roast pork and I got the Schweinshaxen. Portions are huge and we had leftovers for breakfast the next day. The Schweinshaxen was very tender and the pork fell off the bone. I had it with spatzle - which is like a fried pasta. My other friend got the beef stroganoff - very delicious and flavorful! And another friend got the brats. We ordered the German chocolate cake to share between the 4 of us. Each dish was at least $20-25 with the Schweinshaxen being close to $30, so not the cheapest option in the area but I thought the food was good. They had a wide selection of German beers that you can get in different sizes. They also have cocktails which are a bit more pricy. Free parking in the lot. The inside is very homey and feels like you are in a log cabin! read more

My boyfriend and I went to Bohemian Brewery for an early dinner, and it was such a great experience. He had eaten there before, but this was my first time. We were seated right away, and our server was very friendly and attentive. My boyfriend got a stein of Czech Pilsener and I got a pint of Noble Hefeweizen. I don't normally enjoy beer, but mine was quite delicious! The banana and clove undertones were cool, it was like drinking banana bread. For food, we split the Brewmasters Basket and the giant pretzel with cheese sauce. Everything was so warm, fresh, and tasty. I will definitely be going back to try more of their menu. read more

I decided to Czech out Bohemian Brewery whilst in the SLC area and I'm sure glad I did. The restaurant/brewery has very Oktoberfest sort of vibe paired with some really great, on-style, German and Czech brews. The food is hearty, plentiful and perfectly pairs with knocking back steins of beer. Yours truly enjoyed the Dunkel and The Alt Beer. Food wise, the pierogies and spätzel were amazing & high marks for the calamari as well. Super friendly bartender and prompt service. I'll be back on my next visit to Utah. read more

We have been here several times before, so when we came in on the evening of 3-14 we were VERY DISAPPOINTED, first we waited forever for our order to come and when it did come it was barely warm. All I can say is the entire experience was poor for everyone at our table of 4. I feel like I am alone in this review, but our food was just "OK." And for the price we paid for our brunch, I want to feel better about it than that. I am giving it 4 because of staff. Two highlights for me (and it wasn't the stuffed French toast): friendly staff, and the potatoes. We visited at what we thought was opening time on a Sunday (turns out it had been open for an hour already). We were seated right away; I always love when there's no wait. We were seated upstairs surrounded by motorized scooters, which were really fun to look at. The hostess was super friendly. Our server was friendly. And the manager (owner?) came by our table and offered us a discount for having a beautiful baby. That was really sweet of him, and my husband said he'd come back just for that personal touch. In general, the food was OK. I didn't love my stuffed French toast. The potatoes, however, were really good. Overall a pleasant visit, albeit pricy even after a "beautiful baby" discount. We had the perfect end to our snowboarding season at Snowbird with a visit to Bohemian Brewery & Grill! From the moment we walked in, Andy greeted our large and (sometimes loud) party, with a bright smile and made us feel right at home. The ambience was the perfect setting after a bluebird day on the slopes! Stein by stein, our waitress Steph catered to our love of Czech bier. We had heard great things about the schnitzel, and it didn't disappoint. For dessert Steph suggested the German Chocolate Cake along with espresso, which provided just the right amount of energy to get us home! After visiting some local stores, we saw that we were close to Bohemian Brewery and stopped by for a late lunch/early dinner. It had been a couple of years since we last ate here, and we couldn't remember our food experience but we did remember the wait experience. When we put our name down, we were only quoted 10 minutes which was great considering the large number of people standing in their foyer and waiting area. 10 minutes later on the dot, we sat at a table downstairs near the host's desk and bar. We opted to share a wedge salad and the chicken paprikash. The wedge came out quickly and was covered in toppings. It was one of the best wedge salads I've eaten in Utah. The chicken paprikash on the other hand was just okay. The steamed veggies needed salt and pepper, the chicken was rubbery, and like other reviews, it doesn't come with enough sauce. It's a dish we will not be ordering again sadly. We'll be back to try their other items and brunch when we're nearby again. read more

I was between a 3 and a 4 on this but bumped my rating up to a 4 because the service was great and someone who I believed was the owner was going around to tables thanking guests for coming and making sure they were satisfied. I enjoyed most of the food. The brewmasters basket is good if you like calamari. I thought the pretzel and cheese were good but not the best in Utah. I tried the Pierogies and Bratwurst. First time trying pierogies and I really liked them with the dill sour cream. I almost loved this dish but wasn't a fan of their sauerkraut. It's different here. By reading reviews it seems like people either like it or don't. I prefer the sauerkraut at Siegfried's or Weller's. It's sort of pudding like here and I just wasn't a fan, but I'll be back to try other items on their menu! read more

The Bohemian Grill is in a very beautiful A-frame, mountain cabin. It is the perfect place for an "after ski" day up at Snowbird, Brighton or coming out of Cottonwood Canyon. The grill has been there for many, many years. The beer is always good. I always like to try the dark beer. Its very flavorful. Try the Cherny Bock, you wont be disappointed. They serve many different kinds of beers. The food, everywhere we looked, it looked delicious. Our mouths were watering. We saw this. We saw that. We wanted to try this. We wanted to try that. I settled for the Bohemian club sandwich with Ham, Turkey, and Bacon. It was absolutely delicious. The ham and the turkey were not dry or overcooked. The fried bread was a little greasy, but the inside of the sandwich made up for it. I was very, very disappointed in the alleged French onion soup. I say alleged because I have never seen so much bread hiding underneath a slice of cheese. The ratio of onion and bread compared to actual broth was dismal. There was barely any broth because it was soaked up with all the bread that was inside of it. I never had French onion soup, so disappointing. I was SO looking forward to the soup itself. THAT NIGHT I would not have recommended the French onion soup. BUT TRY IT ANYWAY, I will try it again next time and ask for less bread in my bowl. I will also get the side salad. Prior to ordering our food, they took us up these (mountain cabin) creaky stairs to the upstairs level. The only reason why I was concerned is because people tend to drink a lot of alcohol when they're eating good food and what if... they tumbled down the stairs sideways. But the place is older so of course the stairs are going to sound weird, they are very stable and sturdy. Everywhere I looked, everyone was enjoying the atmosphere and their food and conversation. The wait staff was very nice and pleasant. There was also no wait when we arrived, we were able to get a table right away. I like the way they set up the restaurant because they can get a lot of people in. They are not about having pretentious booths for privacy. That way during Octoberfest we can all go oom-papa together!! read more

We ordered the calamari, the roasted garlic spread, pretzel, and the stroganoff with spaetzle. I haven't had spaetzle before so I wanted to try it but next time I will probably stick with fettucine. I like the texture of noodles more. The roasted garlic was soo good, garlic is great when the whole bulb is roasted and you smear the whole bulb on a piece of bread. The calamari was super fresh and the breading was really light and extra crispy. The stroganoff was delicious!! The steak was really tender even though I didn't order medium rare. (No shame to those who do wish to imbibe during the earlier parts of the day, that just isn't for me.) My friend and I had an order of potato pancakes, pierogies and a plate of scrambled eggs, potatoes and bacon. Looking back, I should have ordered the brat instead of the bacon-what was I thinking? The potato pancakes were very large and greasy-accompanied by sour cream and applesauce. This was my first experience with pierogies and I found it to be pleasant-sort of a dumpling with bacon and onions inside. The eggs and potatoes were very good and seasoned nicely. Our server was friendly, although was still getting familiar with the menu being that it was her first day.
