Fried perch basket

A comedy of errors led my husband and I to this random restaurant inside a golf club. Pros: No wait, which is nice during tourist season. Cons: Maybe there's a reason why there's no wait. Food was very bland American menu and way overpriced. I paid approx. $20 for a basket of fried fish and fries. My husband ordered a burger and a bowl of soup and our total bill came to about $60 for very boring food that we could get for $10 at a fast food restaurant. Flavor and quality was very mediocre. There were a few flies buzzing around. Atmosphere felt very outdated. I would def go somewhere else next time I'm in the area!

Pulled Pork Sandwich and Sweet Potato Fries - Get the Honey Mustard Sauce that's Behind the Sandwich

I've been coming here for years. The food is generally quite good, but the key is the huge patio overlooking the golf course. It's a beautiful view and you can sit and laugh out of all of the elderly women who yell at each other on the hole in front of you. Seriously, virtually every time I've been here it's only been senior ladies golfing...not sure why. But, onto the food. I was disappointed that the menu was quite scaled back even more this year. However, the burger and pulled pork sandwiches were still really good. Get their sweet potato fries and the honey mustard (that's the sauce that looks sort of like floating seeds in the one picture)....they are amazing! The salad was uninspired, but seriously, it's a salad. The staff is usually pretty friendly. Our server started out good but got super annoyed when I asked for another ranch dressing because a fly literally landed in it as soon as she put it down. Otherwise, she did bring everything quickly and correctly. I definitely recommend this place and bring family here often.

Great live music and lively but relaxed patio vibe.

We made three visits to Bogey's at the Leland Lodge during our two week stay in Leland and have zero complaints! It's perfect for after a round of golf, and is only a short walk from Main Street. The wait staff is great this summer! The pork quesadillas were the best quesadillas we've ever had. The Marie burger was excellent. Nice selection of local beers and wines. We sat on the porch overlooking the golf course each time. If it's a little chilly but you want the view, they have some very powerful heaters! I want the pulled pork without the bun and with extra pork, and they generously accommodated with no extra fee (and lots of extra pork with yummy cole slaw).

Enjoying the view at Bogey's 19th Hole while waiting for my fish tacos.

Our fourth or fifth time here - breakfast, lunch or dinner. Outstanding local fare. Great service. Beautiful setting. Highly recommended.

I started with their Seafood Chowder ($10) this is said to be loaded with Shrimp, Clams and Crab. I could identify these things individually, however taste wise it was excellent.  I definitely wished the cup of it had been bigger. Price seems a little steep for portion size, but no complaints taste wise. I then ordered their Fried Chicken ($19) this had Golden-Fried Breast, Drum and Thigh with Mashed Potato and asparagus. The chicken was excellent, well seasoned and crispy, but still juicy. The asparagus was cooked perfectly. The mashed potatoes were undercooked. A little harder then I prefer them to be, but edible and at least it was real potatoes. The service was great. Super cheerful and helpful. They accidentally put someone else order on my bill and they corrected it with cheer. Overall a couple minor issues, but still a solid 4 star review for me. Would I return? Absolutely!

The breakfast burritos were so good, it really hit the spot, although, might want to skip the mimosas if you're looking for an upscale bevvie. That's not to say, we didn't enjoy ourselves... our friend purchased the meal, and after we left, we headed to a winery where she tracked us down and admitted to running the card for the wrong ticket. Mistakes happen, but to track us down, explain the error, we appreciate the due diligence bc it was a lot more expensive, and she didn't have to do the extra effort! Food was yum, but the Texas toast is just toast. we love Hannah!!!!

Knot Just a Bar - This is the fried chicken. Kind of expensive for what you get.
