Look at this patio they built for me. This patio is amazing! This is hardscaping genius…read more I needed the work done because the maple tree was too close to my house. They cut down the tree and hauled it away. Then they found the wires and pipes. Then they used a track hoe to dig up the tree roots. It was huge mess but they hauled it all away. They also dug up a really big flower bed. They moved valve boxes, augmented the soil, and planted bulbs. They smoothed the patio area and filled it with layers of gravel and sand. They measured the grade and made a plan for drainage. They brought blocks and caps and pavers from a local source. They built the steps, carefully fitting together the corner joints. Then they built the walls and glued down the caps. To place the pavers, they started with a circle and wove a pattern around it. They added a border in a contrasting shade. To make the pavers fit together, they had to cut each one with a heavy saw. Every piece had to be measured and marked and cut. They did it with teamwork and rapid precision. They sanded the floor with polymeric sand to seal it. Then they helped me move the furniture and hang the artwork. The project took less than a month. Every day they left the work site as neat as a pin. I paid them very well for doing this work and you should too.

(the trees were about 40 ft tall and about 12 ft from out house). My only complaint was waiting for the guy to come and grind out the stumps but they did not have control over his schedule. (We were scheduling a contractor to come out and build a shed where the trees had been.) We had them back a year later to take out a 4th tree and trim up two others that we were keeping. Their prices were fair and their service was great. We are about to call them again for an assessment of our fir tree in the front yard.

Darrell and his crew had the tree down and the whole area cleaned up, even reinstalling a down spout that the tree took out and propping up a plant that the snow had knocked over in less then 2 hours. I hired Daniel based on his reviews and knowledge. I have a poorly installed sprinkler system that…read morehas leaked several times as pipes were not connected properly and several are exposed. Daniel came to "diagnose" the problem , which could be seen because the pipes had come apart and were above ground. The pipe needing replacement was easily accessible and approximately 10 ft. long. The estimate seemed fair because he stated he would repair the pipe and bury it as able. He did fix the pipe, but nothing was buried and he left the old pipe lying in my yard. When I complained, he stated that he didn't bury any piping because it would have increased the "scope of work". I paid $400 for one pipe replacement. His "remedy" was to offer to come remove the old pipe. I can't cut it into pieces small enough to fit in my trashcan. He didn't do this . Daniel replied to this review. He charged an initial fee for "diagnosis" of a visibly leaking pipe. This was supposed to be credited. The total was $400. I got a pipe fixed and left unburied in spite of the quote including this. Hi reference to the previous work is irrelevant. He had no responsibility for the exisitng state, which , as I said was poor. He fixed a leaking pipe. That's it. All arguments other than one leaking pipe being replaced, above ground, are not relevant nor do they justify charging $400.
