Decided to visit yesterday and I'm glad I did. I ordered a gyro combo that came with fries and a drink and it was delicious. The inside was pretty and clean, don't let the outside fool you! I had no idea there was a cafe inside the restaurant. There you can order drinks such as coffee and little pastries. I went here for lunch with two of my friends. We all ordered the gyro combo. I ordered mine with a salad and they got fries. The gyro was delicious! It was large and very flavorful. The salad was tasty too. I couldn't eat all of it. It was definitely worth the $10! The combo came with a drink too (the cups are very small ). The lunch menu has chicken wings, hamburgers and a few other American offerings. I would like to see more Mediterranean dishes for lunch. They have many homemade sweet treats. I have only been here for coffee and desserts but oh my gosh! Best baklava ever! They also have a delicious tiramisu I get often. Lovely people who own it who will be happy to tell you about the history of the place and their history moving from Syria (if I remember correctly...). This restaurant is a breath of fresh air in Columbia. I ate there for lunch and had the Shakshuka. It was delish! They offer a plethora of middle eastern and Libyan fare. I come in every weekend and grab at least 4 cream baklavas . At least 12 for social gatherings, they never disappoint the guests. It is my guilty pleasure and reward for getting through the weak. Even as a kid I never really liked bread or pastries until my mother in law came down for Christmas and wanted some baklavas. So I yelped and found this place. I had no idea what it was and wanted to see what the fuss was all about. She bought 12 and I bought 1. I am a changed woman! It is absolutely delicious, I find myself craving it through the week. This is my favorite restaurant in Columbia. Not only is the food amazing, the owners and staff are incredibly hospitable and eager to do anything to make your experience in their establishment a great one. The food is wonderful. This is the only place I know where I can get Kabsa, except for my own kitchen. LOL. I had a birthday party there (adult ladies) and they bent over backwards for me and my friends. Decorated our tables, served us complimentary hot tea and fresh made pastries. OMG I can't begin to tell you guys how much I love this place. I am a coffee snob and Abdul is the best barista I've ever met. He makes an incredible cup of coffee. The homemade Middle Eastern pastries are to die for. I usually call before I go all the way over there, to make sure they have some. LOL. The food is like Mediterranean food only with more exotic spices and flavors - no it is not spicy hot at all. Not like Indian food! I suggest that you visit on a Friday or Saturday night when the owner's wife and daughters are there and there are more pastries and he often makes Lokma, a sweet fried dough coated in honey, outside on the patio for all to enjoy! I took my hookah when we were there on my birthday and we all smoked out there. It was GREAT! He also now sells delicious sno-cones in over 200 flavors. I haven't tried them yet but my friends have and they love them. You MUST go check this restaurant out. Be prepared because the hot meals are in like a cafeteria style setting and if the restaurant is busy it takes a little bit to get through the line. But it is well worth it. read more

Delicious! We went for lunch and I had the lamb gyro plate with a side salad. My husband had the original chicken sandwich. The food was very fresh and the service was excellent. The restaurant itself is clean and nicely decorated. This is a great place to go if some members of your group are picky/not into trying new cuisines (my husband!).
