1st off, the place is pretty expensive. But at the same time, I'm pretty frugal, lolololol! I paid around $12.00 for a tuna melt but thankfully, it was worth it. There is nothing worse than paying a hefty price tag for food and it ends up disappointing. Fries, chips, or drink is not included in this price, just the sandwich. For me and my budget, that's the reason for the 4 stars. The customer service was average. The guys was helpful and recommended the type of bread I should get mg tuna melt on. I appreciated that because I enjoyed everything about my sandwich. It's located inside a strip plaza but parking wasn't a problem at the time of my ordered. If you live in the area, then you are accustomed to the never ending construction on hardscrabble. If you live out side the area, pack your patience and give them a try. You are able to eat in as they have a few booths inside. Because of its prices, it's not a place I would visit frequently but they are on my list for when I'm ready to enjoy a treat to myself. read more

First off let me say that I love deli sandwiches! I had been eyeing this restaurant for a while and finally stop by. Clean looking/smelling establishment. Owner/mgr very helpful. Chose turkey and RB w provolone, mayo,black olives, oregano, o&v, and smidge of honey mustard. The bread was soft from beginning to end, the meat was decent in amount, it covered my bread (and then some), evenly. Great place to watch sports in the gy-normous tv. Prices are comparable to Firehouse. Would definitely come & recommend. read more

Food was awesom! Great portions, fresh bread, very clean and welcoming! Most importantly, the staff was amazing! They welcomed hou as you walk in, they make sure your satisfied! Also, they go over and beyond to get you what you want and left at the store! I left my wallet, im 35 min from there and the employee that made our subs, drove all the way to my house to give it to me! Super nice people! Been eating at Sub Station for many years.My favorite sun is the turkey and provolone on wheat all the way.Another classic is the scrap salad if your into salads.During lunch time this place can get pretty busy however definitely worth the wait and prices a reasonable.Stop by customize your favorite sub and grab one of those cookies for a snack when you get back to work. read more

Good, fresh subs. I usually have to order online because the lines are usually long inside, but they are definitely worth the wait when you're craving a good sub. The price for a whole sub is well worth it considering the size of it. I usually always save half for later because one half can easily fill me up. I personally think these subs are much better than any other "fast food" subs (Jersey mikes, jimmy johns, firehouse subs, etc). The meat and lettuce is always fresh, which you don't always see with other sub places. Definitely worth checking out! read more

My brother and I went to pick subs for the family dinner about 5:30 today. When we arrived there were multiple cars in the parking area. When we went to the door it was locked and there was a sign that said "On a 10 minute break. don't knock." Cars started leaving. We waited for 10 minutes and discovered the crew in a side alley smoking. One lady yelled to them that people were hungry and that there was a line. We elected to leave and get Chinese. The manager and entire crew need to be fired. They lost business and really pissed quite a few customers off. read more

It was not the experience I thought it was I go there when the females work because the young male are very slack I got my sub it was soggy and I asked for toasted and they did not leave it toasted they just threw it in the microwave and it came back even soggyer the females know what you want these young man don't care at ALL thumbs down read more

You get a lot for what you pay, in my opinion. A whole 12" sub (I'm approximating) is only $6 - $7 and it's definitely enough for two people. They also sell a half sub if that's more your speed. The inside of the building is very minimalist but clean, which I appreciate. I usually get the turkey and cheese, which is good. The turkey is tasty but the bread is only okay. It's more a vehicle for the stuffings than an element that elevates the taste of the sandwich. Be very careful pulling in and out of their (tiny) parking lot. People never look behind them when they're backing out and there's no where to wait in the parking lot while someone leaves, so you're stuck in the turning lane until you have a clear shot to a spot. And seriously - don't hit the sign. If you've been there, you know what I'm talking about. read more

This sub place is one of the best I have ever tried. The subs are always fresh and delicious. Even the bread is delicious. The Honey Wheat (dark brown bread) is definitely the best bread they have. It's so good you can eat by it's self. With the honey wheat bread you have to get 2 sandwiches to make a 12" inch which is totally worth it. The salads are also very good. Although in the tuna salad the tuna is not seasoned it's still good. My favorite salad is the chef salad it's very fresh and taste wonderful. They give you nice sized cups of ranch. Two cups will work for your whole salad. If you would like a nice sub or salad come to here. This Sub Station is the best out of all of them. read more

Sub station II has been my favorite since the first one opened in Sumter when I lived there in the 70's. So glad to have the one on Parklane in Columbia. Best subs ever! The scrap salad is also good, and the carrot cake is delicious! Never been disappointed. read more

I ordered a #19. They changed to different meats so now its just different flavored bologna that replaces the actual pepperoni, salami, and ham but they still charge the same price. I threw out an entire sandwich. They need to update the meat that goes onto each type of sandwich on their menu so that people don't get all the way home to find out everything on their sandwich has been substituted for other stuff. I always get the same whole #7 since I was a kid. (Except on the amazing sweet wheat now ) This seems to be the last good Sub Station II left. The service can leave more to be desired when the main guys that run it aren't there (like most spots with a couple bad apples) , but when they are there ... great service , you feel welcome , and you leave with a quality product.
