I am an actress and work with my body. I am a well diagnosed stress head and am super aware of the build up of adrenal energy and cortisol in my body when I'm nervous and working, and here in Lambertville I found a true gem. Carolyn is a gift. She has a gift. She feels what's going on in your body and is able to really release and reset things for you if you are open to it. I have had two 90 minute sessions with her now and am booking myself in for a third before I leave. I also would have loved to get some acupuncture and do some acro-yoga with her but time ran out. Amanda's demeanor is warm and endearing. Her office / massage studio is in a convenient location and is an inviting and relaxing space. She's respectful of silence during sessions but has also proven to be a compassionate listener and a friendly conversation partner. She's extremely attentive to feedback of all kinds, including feedback that I didn't even realize I was giving. The slightest twitch, shrug, gesture or sigh is fluently interpreted into an ever-adapting massage experience. During my last session I asked Amanda what kinds of feedback she receives during massage. Without exaggeration, I can honestly say that what followed was easily the most mellifluous prose I've ever heard describing the empathetic interpretation of body language. She's truly gifted. I've mostly asked for relaxation/swedish style massage but have also received excellent massages for sore muscles/achy back/shoulder/neck. If you're looking for a comforting massage for relaxation or muscle aches, this is the place to go. I'm sure she's probably great with other modalities as well, but these are the only ones I can speak to. I almost didn't want to write this review because all of you other Yelpers might take up my future appointment slots, but ultimately decided that this is a small business I couldn't help but support. No need to look elsewhere. Just book an appointment.

I have been having a lot of issues with posture-related misalignment and back pain and wanted to find a massage therapist whom I could visit semi-regularly. Shout-out to Mason. I've had two sessions so far and have been extremely impressed with their knowledge and skills. On my first visit Mason asked me a lot of questions about my issues and watched me do a few exercises to determine a plan of action. Mason clearly has a deep and holistic understanding of anatomy and helped alleviate some of my chronic tension/pain after one session, including addressing some tightness in muscle groups that I didn't even know were related to my neck and shoulder issues! Mason checks in regularly about pressure and comfort levels. At the start of my second session I mentioned some life stressors that I had been experiencing and Mason also incorporated some seriously relaxing/gentle techniques that left me feeling calm and ready to tackle life's challenges. I will definitely be back as much as I can - I only wish I could afford to come more often!

I met her in her office--a very peaceful and pleasant space that made it easy to let go of my surroundings and turn my focus inward. Akasha asked all the right questions, and gently led me through some frameworks and techniques that I can use on my own to explore new ways of relating to old trauma. While the techniques are general, her treatment was specific and personal, and even after one session, I felt my relationship to these old patterns shift. Akasha has a good touch, and knows how to invite change in a way that feels safe, and fertile. Every journey is different, but so far Akasha feels like a skilled and intuitive guide!

She doesn't just massage muscles; she works with fascia in a way that feels precise and intuitive. After each session, I felt taller, lighter, and noticeably more relaxed in my body. What stood out most was her holistic approach -- she evaluated how I walk, stand, and sit, helping me understand patterns I've likely carried for years. Her work goes beyond surface-level bodywork. It feels thoughtful, skilled, and deeply attuned. I'm so grateful for the care she provides and would highly recommend her to anyone looking for truly integrative bodywork.

A massage therapist I went to in San Diego recommended that I try neuromuscular therapy due to my needs and her noting that my body responded well to compression massage (thank goodness for her because she led me to search for NMT therapists specifically in the Bay Area). There are so many positives but the main ones for me are that I was having migraines once a month and after going to Alex regularly they were completely gone. He listens to your needs every session. There are multiple times when my upper back hurts more and he focuses on that area. I personally regard my sessions as treatment rather than a massage because of how they are tailored to my needs. No two massages have felt the same and that's a pro for me. I also really appreciate the knowledge he has about improving posture and tips for us remote desk workers. I've needed to take some of his urgent appointments due to hurting my back and foot and he was super responsive and both times I felt improvement. So amazing! Very grateful for those urgent appointments! Alex is extremely communicative with rate changes, when there is a COVID exposure if you have an upcoming appointment, updates on what he might be doing that impacts you as a client, if he's taking new clients or not, and for scheduling. I've been going for a while now and Alex has always kept his mask on (in case that's important to you!). He has also offered perks for free like essential oils and hot stone when other places charge you at least $5-10 extra for that. Parking is extremely easy, but you might have a hard time finding the spot initially. Instructions sent do explain how to get there. Highly recommend Alex. I wish I could give more than 5 stars!
