Dora has all of this experience as a masseuse. It had been many YEARS since I've last had a massage, but pain on the left side of my body brought me to Waukee Massage Spa. I booked a same day appointment online which was easy to do. However, next time I'll book via phone since Dora gets so busy she may not have time to check appointments online. My appointment started at 3pm but I arrived 20 mins early. Dora was able to take me early so I started my appointment at 245pm which I appreciated. I was taken to a private room with a very comfortable massage table. The temperature in the room was great too. Dora provided a fantastic massage with great pressure and got rid of all the tension in my body (and I had a lot). She worked so hard the entire hour of my appointment and maintained the pressure the entire time. She is a miracle worker!!! They offer Chinese-style massage, so if you're into that, this place is definitely for you. - Price. For the two of us, total cost was $120 for a full hour. The bad: - Not very private. Most of this place is one big open space. And even though they put us in "private" rooms, the door to the room was a curtain, so you could hear everything going on in the rest of the space (i.e. front desk staff chatting, other patrons talking, etc). - They interrupted us 15 minutes in to tell us their credit card machine was down and to ask if we had cash.
