I don't usually leave negative reviews but since this involves people's wellness, I thought it was important to share this. I came with a Groupon for 2 decompression appointments. That is a special chair that stretches your spine. Before my appointment I had a consultation with Dr. Kory. He was very attentive explaining why decompression would work to alleviate my lower back pain, even taking x-rays and using them to explain why the treatment would work. But, I would need more than the 2 sessions I had purchased. He was very convincing and I bought a package that included 12 twenty-minute sessions, some supplements, and some specialized videos to follow at home to support the sessions. I went home with some appointments and the supplements. The videos didn't actually exist but I didn't think to ask about them right away. After six regular sessions and taking the supplements religiously, I didn't feel any relief. I asked Tanya (the front desk admin) how many sessions I needed before feeling relief. She said I should have felt it by then. When I said I had not felt a difference, she said Dr. Kory would meet with me at my next appointment. During that appointment he gave a me a tool that he had forgotten to give me when I started the treatment sessions that would help me build my core and demonstrated some exercises to stretch that would have been on the videos I never got that were supposed to be part of the package. He recommended I make 2 appointments a week and it should make a difference. I made the appointments and followed the plan as instructed. About 2 weeks later, I woke up with such terrible lower back pain that I could not stand upright. I called Dr. Kory to see what he recommended and if I could have an appointment. Tanya said he would call me when he got into the office. I didn't hear from him. I was still in pain the next day so I called back. I wanted to know what I should do to alleviate the pain. He had been treating me so I wanted him to help. Again, Tanya said he would call me when he got in. He did not. The end of that week was Thanksgiving. I spent the holiday in pain. The following week, I called his office again seeking help. I got the same response from his admin, no response from him. I went to my PCP who recommended I stop the decompression appointments until we determined the cause of the increased pain. I called Dr. Kory to see if I could get a refund for the remaining treatments or an alternate plan that could support whatever my doctor recommended. Same pattern - I called and spoke to Tanya, Dr. Kory never called me back. It was clear that he was not interested in my pain. He had sold an ineffective package (over $1200) and gotten paid, and my wellness was no longer of interest. It's been over three months since I had my last appointment and left countless messages asking for his help. According to Tanya, he attempted to call me once (after I told her I was going to leave a negative review and call the BBB) and he got a Google assistant and couldn't leave a voicemail. She relayed this message via my voicemail, which was puzzling that she could leave a voicemail but Dr. Kory could not. Chiropractors are all over the metro. Avoid this one. read more

Great overall experience in chiropractic care and massage. Dr. Wayne is awesome at resolving issues with my aching back, if only until long hours of toiling in front of a computer desk tightens up my back again. Dr. Wayne is receptive to my lower back complaints and feedback on his resolutions. He also makes himself readily available throughout the week for easy booking. The mindbody app for booking appointments makes scheduling these sessions hassle-free. Tonya, at the front desk, is also available for booking your appointments, so no worries there. I don't have experience with the entire massage staff so your experience may vary, but the massage I received so far was worth coming back to. The program is expensive but they have different plans and payment options. You need to be ready to commit as it is very strict on what you can eat. Everyone assigned to me was great. Evening crew is great! I loved the red light therapy. Really helped with my stretch marks. Only lost one star because it was hard to figure out what meals to eat. The massage was WONDERFUL!! I just think it is absolutely terrible to advertise a 60 minute massage and only give 50 minutes. I was a massage therapist and I think this is wrong. I had the promo amount and I was angry, but I would never pay $85 for a 50 minute massage. I also think it's pretty manipulative to hang suggested tip amounts in the room. Yes, hang a sign that states gratuities are appreciated, but it's guilt producing to give an amount especially when the amount exceeds 20%. This makes a 50 minute massage $110. Are you insane? Sometimes just the massage amount is challenging enough, but it feels like a requirement to tip that amount. As a former massage therapist, I for sure appreciated tips, but I never felt entitled to them. We don't tip chiropractors or physical therapists and yet it feels like we have to tip massage therapists and that makes something already difficult to pay for unattainable for many. Regular, non-affluent people need to be able to care for their bodies, too. I absolutely LOVED my massage with Carissa, but I won't be back because of the 50 minute massage and the feeling like it isn't okay to not tip the over 20% amount. No friggin' way. It isn't enough time to give a thorough massage and it isn't a 60 minute massage. False advertising. I felt jipped!! And that kind of tip makes it impossible for me and most to actually get regular therapy for our bodies. Too much. read more

I have been going to the Clive location for a few years now. I was visiting Dr. Chris since the beginning. I have had appointments with a couple of the other chiropractic Drs in that location, but always enjoy that they communicate well and understand what I am needing. I admit I am not the perfect aligned person, but they help keep me on track to better posture and general health adjustments. I have also treated myself to a few of the best massages I have ever had there. They just recently moved into a new location only a few doors down from the original location. I started going when I was still playing roller derby and knew I needed the adjustments for that, but even now as a retired player I go for general health. Dr. Chris always provides helpful tips and continues to educate me on healthier choices for my overall health. The staff has always been very sweet to me. They know me by name which makes me want to keep coming back. They work with you to make you healthier you and don't pressure you into things you don't want to do. read more

Reset is amazing! I am always greeted with a smile and by my name. Dr. Wayne gives great adjustments. He is gentle but also gives the adjustment you need! He also takes time with each patient and doesn't rush the adjustment. He is great with my 20 month old who has been adjusted since she was 5 days old. I went to Reset because I purchased a Groupon for a 1 hour massage and an adjustment. I was hurting in my lower back and down into my leg. The massage was great and after Dr. Peter adjusted my back I felt great!!!! The staff was friendly and Dr Peter took the time to listen and is very good at what he does. My son went in the next week and was also very pleased. They have a killer deal on a monthly membership that both me and my son are now signed up for. Everything about this place is amazing!!! I have struggled with hip and low back pain due to sports injuries in college. They have a $39 introductory offer for 1 hr massage and 30 min chiropractic consult and adjustment. The massage therapist really focused on my problem areas and I have never had a better deep tissue massage. Dr Chris was so thorough and his assessment was very informative. He easily adjusted me and I felt better instantly. They also focus on nutrition and physical therapy for long term health. Reset currently has 2 memberships. First is $69 for 2 adjustments and 2 massages a month. Second is $99 for 4 adjustments and 2 massages a month. The LOW cost blew my mind! I had previously paid $150 for one adjustment in WDSM! I will have to say I have been going to reset in Clive for almost 2 years. Chris has been amazing and does an amazing job. I have a membership with them. I have had it on freeze and was able to use up what was on my account. Today they are telling me that to freeze my account and use what's on there I have to pay them additional $15 to the service I have already paid for. I am outraged that they think they can charge me twice to use the services. read more

However, I found I had been double billed a couple of times and recently I severed my membership and they have been charging my credit card 2 months in a row for $49.00. I have been going to Reset for a couple years now and love it! The people are so friendly and the chiropractors are so talented. I first tried them using a Groupon at their Clive location and have been hooked ever since. I switched to the downtown location once it opened because it is close to my work. I love that I can leave for an adjustment and be back in fifteen minutes! I like that they have training, educational seminars and sell supplements and recently I tried a liver cleanse from them that was really easy, had great, healthy recipes and made me feel so much better afterwards. Plus, the value is amazing-I can afford to have one 60 minute massage and two adjustments a month for what my co-pay is for just one chiropractic adjustment from other providers. So, a monthly membership was a no brainier-and I feel good knowing I can afford to take better care of myself and can get relief from my stressful job and daily life by having regular adjustments and massages. read more

They made me wait over an hour for a chiropractic appointment on two occasions, and then charged me for them anyway when I left. They also had a massage therapist leave the business and I had an agreement in writing that I would only go to that therapist. When they failed to honor the agreement, and charged me for massages that I did not receive, I had to start a fraud case with the credit card company. I kept all paperwork and the decision of the credit card company to support these claims in case they tried to charge me again. I would not have written this review, if it were not for the fact that they insist on repeatedly adding me to mailing lists telling me, "It's time for you next appointment." Talk about twisting the knife. I would rather have forgotten about them altogether, but it seems they insist on reminding me constantly of their poor service, shady business practices, and altogether fraud. Stay away from this business and any other that wants to sell you a contract for health services. They're wanting you to pay repeatedly for services you can't or don't use, it's their business model, and it's pretty shady in my opinion. read more
