I was hit badly in a parking lot, which created a side impact collision. I had the work done to repair my vehicle at Bodytech Collision in Ventura. From start to finish the front receptionist and Thomas (the owner), walked me through every step and detail, explaining each process, and what to expect. He was very upfront with the cost, timeline (including there being a delay for parts!) and either updated through personal phone calls or automated text messages. I never had to guess what was happening with my car. Thomas has been doing this for a long time, and knows what to expect from Insurance Companies. His shop's eye for detail, and expectation for the car to be returned in new condition is top notch. I received my car back in perfect condition (they even cleaned it inside and out!) and on the original date he had expected! I hope I don't have to have work done on my car any time soon, but if I do I wouldn't hesitate to bring it here again. read more

Extremely satisfied with the service I received here. I was recently in a car accident that accumulated nearly $7000 worth of damages to my car. The whole team there was very communicative and friendly. The auto shop is huge, clean, and well organized. I knew I took it to the right place once I saw they were working on quite a few higher end automobiles. My insurance doesn't have rental cars covered in its policy. Fortunately, they were able to provide me with a rental car for three days free of charge through Enterprise. Robert did an amazing job on the bodywork and blending the paint. He even took me back to show me the plans and all the new parts that were being replaced while it was being worked on. I'd say the most astounding part of my experience there was they finished working on my car a few days earlier than the target date. My car looks better now than it did before the accident! They did some light interior detailing and exterior detailing before I picked it up. Will definitely return again if need be. (Hopefully not!) read more

These people are really good salesman if you know what I mean! I was lied to straight to my face. First off whenever I picked up my car it smelled absolutely terrible on the inside. They left the windows or doors open and there was paint dust and grease on the seats, roof and doors on the inside of my car. The paint smell has not gone away and smells absolutely terrible! They were really nice to my face but I caught him in a lie so many times. My car is not safe to drive and he told me word for word "ahh it's not that bad it's just the front end, it's safe to drive." my entire CV axle is shot from the wreck!!! When I got there he told me he did an alignment and tightened some stuff in the front end and drove my car and said he fixed it and it was safe to drive! However, I got in my car and left in the rain! Putting my life at risk! My front end was shot and not fixed ! Honesty goes along way! If it's not fixed tell me I do not care! But don't lie to me and put my life at risk! This is Not my first time hearing about this from other people. Wish I would've talked to them before I took my car in! read more

Apparently this is under new ownership since my last visit, all new faces. I came to get an estimate for a comp claim and my insurance company wouldn't commit to covering it without an estimate. Got the estimate, Mike Was very helpful. Then the claim was approved and the body shop wanted me back again for the very same estimate. My time is valuable and when we finally made the appointment for an estimate I asked the estimator why I have to come back for the same exact thing I was already here for. His explanation was very vague and I asked again and he gave me the same vague answer. He then told me he would take photos but not work on my truck. He beat me to it, I was about to tell him the same thing. There was no reason they couldn't transfer the original data and photos to the new estimate without me there. My guess is that Allstate pays them for the estimate and they had to piss me off for that $100.00. Hope it was worth it! read more

From start to finish using BodyTech was the best decision. I was really stressed when I first entered their facility, and Rene helped me right away by greeting me kindly and then offering me Chamomile tea to calm me down. Their body shop people are absolutely wonderful. My front bumper was a mess, and they analyzed the damage and determined that they could zip tie it neatly to the frame so that I would be able to drive it until the parts arrived. The paint job on the new bumper is amazing. You would never know that this is not the original bumper.
