Made an appointment with them at 7 and I showed up 5 minutes early. No one talked to me and it's been an hour. Huge waste of time.

The atmosphere here had been so encouraging and I've grown so much since I began with them. It's been thrilling to have been a member as the m gym has grown and grown, in both class sizes, coaches, talent, and even the size of the physical gym! CFA offers skills training and yoga on Sundays, and have quite the Saturday morning crowd every weekend. In the summers they offer lifting classes and throughout the year, there are healthy eating challenges to participate in. They also have an in-house competition every October that offers a chance to test yourself just within your gym, and they encourage participation in the Crossfit Open every spring. CFA offers 10 classes a day, which makes it really easy to switch around if needed, but what I find wonderful is that the class times each have their own personalities and a solid group of the same people that attend every day. The coaches are always on the same page and go through and breakdown the movements, even when it's a class of veterans. There is usually two coaches for every class, but depending on the time of the class, there are usually two or three more coaches who will stop what they are doing to watch your lift and give you pointers, especially during the busy afternoon classes. Along with having a solid set up for the gym, and programming that is incredibly on point, the entire atmosphere of CTA reeks of family. Six or seven times a year there is a pot-luck, pool party, or my favorite, the Craw-Fit boil. Over the past two years I've made some wonderful life-changes and CFA helped pull that trigger. I've done some things I never thought I would do and most days I feel stronger than ever. Even when I just absolutely do not what to workout, if I show up, I always feel good walking out. And the support from the other members has been astonishing. A lot of CF gyms talk about being the same way, but everyone at CFA has fostered that supportive environment and with that support, I have been able to participate in different events and do extremely well, even when I didn't think I would! I've also met some of the best people and made some of the best friends at CFA. I really can't say enough good things about my experience thus far, and I continue to look forward to the experiences in the future.

Twin Bridges is the best gym I have ever been a member of. The environment is top notch, it is very clean with ample equipment, the people are wonderful and it is an enjoyable experience each time I work out. The coaching is exceptional; the coaches strike the precise balance between helping you grow and allowing you to push yourself. Through their mentoring my overall health has drastically improved. I strongly recommend Twin Bridges.

I go to the 8:30 am class three times a week. It has been the most brutally amazing experience I've ever had. I don't think it's for everyone, just like running isn't for everyone but you've got to try it out for yourself. All I can say is, that my coach has kept me from hurting myself by training me with proper form and scaling things down to my level of fitness so I can accomplish the workout and reach my goals. I am also encouraged and challenged by all the amazing people who go there. This Crossfit Box is a perfect example of why Crossfit, worldwide, is the best sport to watch and be involved in. I expect to be there the rest off my life. I can't wait to see what I can accomplish this year. Try it out for free a couple of times.

The gym itself is in a collection of garages behind a Wal-Mart, but has quite a bit of space inside and out. Pull up bars and plenty of room to run and play in the field outside, giant tires strewn about...Inside they have maximized the space by putting equipment in a small separate room and building the oly platforms right into the floor. I suspect this may be the only CF box in Belton, but if I were an athlete in Temple, I'd get my butt here pronto - it's an A+ facility for Crossfit that has just added an elite element for weightlifting.

Showing up at the time the class is listed is fine. You are actually warmed up by an instructor prior to the workout. The instructor for the 1930 class on Monday was Tony. He warmed us up with some light kettle bell swings. He also cooled us down after the workouts as well. Both of these add a bit of community to the gym which is nice. Prior to the workout, I heard the dreaded "find a partner." I say dreaded because I was the new person! I didn't want to be the person standing awkwardly alone in the corner. :D Luckily that was not the case! I was quickly snagged by a friendly person. She was hella strong too! :D The workouts were challenging. This night there were two workouts. I don't know if that is the norm or not. The class size was about 12 people and there was one instructor. Fit and Strong is how I would describe members of the class. Everyone was positive and encouraging. The gym had a good vibe and I would definitely recommend this gym to anyone looking to drop in.
