l and one other person came in two hours before close to get septum piercings, and miraculously knew someone who was also getting pierced that day. We decided to do lunch after, and they let us know that Larry, the piercer, was talking trash about us. We told him before we even step foot in the waiting room we could come another time if he needed, so I'm not sure why such unprofessional behavior was displayed. (He complained about us coming in "so late") On top of that, he pierced our septum's with a gauge too big/ bigger than normal. That caused it to hurt way more. Not a happy experience over all. I'd recommend going somewhere else. Also talked to others pierced by him and we all got creepy vibes. Response: Thank you for your reply, but I would like to discuss some things you wrote. #1 being I have a picture my friend and I took (just a picture of us together) sitting in the waiting room for your shop, and it is time stamped 1 hour and fifteen minutes before 6pm. We took this picture a little bit after we got there as well, not as soon as we got there. We also know the girls who got pierced before us, and the boy who's ears you pierced in between us, just from happening to run into them when we entered the shop, not a planned event. In response to the "trash talking" comment, the boy who's ears you pierced came out of the back laughing and telling us that you were complaining about two girls coming in to your shop later than wanted and so on, of course maybe he dramatized it, but considering the uncomfortable attitude we were hit with when we first entered two hours before closing, we were quick to believe. For the creepy vibes aspect, I was referencing other piercers in the area- From Winchester to Front Royal, who have expressed discomfort with you and your practice. I got my first cartilage piercing done here today, and I couldn't be happier! I got my rook piercing, and everything went super smoothly. The facility is neat and clean, Jesse and Larry are nice and informative, and the whole vibe was very welcoming. The pricing was a great plus too! Overall for the piercing, jewelry, and cleansing spray it was less than $60. Make sure to bring cash! They have a card reader, but it was down today so it's best to be prepared! After some searching I quickly found that Body of Xspression was the best place within an hour's drive. The reviews had me sold and the place did not let me down! Larry pierced my left cartilage for a very reasonable price of $23 and it was almost painless. Larry was very professional, and the piercing rooms are incredibly clean and sterile so I was quite comfortable. He takes his work very seriously and it was clear how experienced he was. With the instructions he provided me with, and how sanitary the piercing process was from start to finish, I haven't had any complications so far and it's been 3 weeks! It was my first visit and I was delighted to see strict Covid-19 protocols in place. The owner is adamant about keeping a safe, clean shop and I really appreciate that dedication to 1. his customers and 2. his livelihood. After a minimal wait (he's a one man operation) and the usual paperwork he took great care of me. Just the right amount of banter to put the client at ease and quick, clean and professional with the piercing. Detailed after care instructions were given and despite having two more clients in the waiting area he took his time to answer my questions. All in all a very pleasant and safe experience. I went to go get my second and third holes down for my lobes. They weren't allowing any appointments at the time so i went in as a walk in. They were pretty busy but the wait wasn't long. I went in mid July of 2015 and was greeted by Larry. I had a few questions about the septum piercing I was considering. He was professional and warm, answering all my question thoroughly. I then went in about a week later for my piercing. This place is clean and friendly. I had the wonderful Sarah do my piercing. She's an absolute doll. Her tone of voice was so soothing in such a new experience. I loved her and my piercing came of great. I barely felt a thing. Highly recommend this amazing piercing studio. A year and a half later and I couldn't be happier with my piercing. Update 10/24/17 I went in and got my Tragus pierced. Sarah was my piercer again and she amazed me once more. Initially, I wanted an industrial piercing but she was honest with me and laid out the facts saying that my anatomy was not ideal for this piercing. After I decided on the tragus piercing instead, several people came in after me. Some of the people were rather rude but she handled it quickly and professionally. I can't believe no one has reviewed this place! I've gotten a few things pierced here over the years and I'm always happy with whatever I get. The shop is nicely decorated, extremely clean, and very professional. Larry is awesome, and really knows what he's doing. A few years ago I wanted a piercing he had never done. No one in the Winchester area had done it. You could say it was a.... delicate piercing. Larry did some research and had me come in for a consult to make sure I was suited for the piercing. He eventually did the piercing for me and I'm extremely happy with it. This is also the place to go for body jewelry. It's reasonably priced... the other day my wife got 1/2in howlite (stone) plugs for $10 each... which is exactly how much they cost on bodyartforms and then you'd have to pay shipping on top of that. And the selection has improved a lot over the years. They even carry solid gold body jewelry, which can be hard to find sometimes. I've never been disappointed by anything I've gotten at this shop, whether it be a piercing or body jewelry. Check it out! read more

Larry is wonderful. He did my daith and while he was slightly slower than other artists I've worked with, he was very clean, thorough and kind. The studio is well-lit, and organized, not at all cluttered. The prices are fair and there is a wide assortment of jewelry for sale. There is a discount if you pay in cash, so plan ahead. Larry himself is an art student and has several beautiful pieces displayed, including a self-portrait closely inspired by Jan van Eyck's Portrait of a Man in a Turban, and a sketch of David. I've gotten 2 piercings here. One done by Sarah (I got my navel pierced by her). And I got one done by Larry (he pierced my nose). I have to say that they are both amazing piercers and will answer any of the billion questions you wanna ask! Which is amazing because I ask a lot of questions. I have had no issue with infection. They are extremely sanitary! Which is what you wanna see! They have a Good collection of jewelry you can get pierced with. And their prices are reasonable, in my opinion. And they use interior threaded jewelry for the jewelry that involves screwing on a ball in case anyone was wondering? They are also both very quick with piercings, which is wonderful!
