It was done in watercolor, and it was just gorgeous. I had a very personal tattoo that I had wanted done for quite a while as a part of a healing journey I was coming through so I booked an appointment with Mike Miller at the shop. The shop was very comfortable as far as the atmosphere and the staff was awesome. Mike did my tattoo which was a spine tattoo and it turned out so beautiful I couldn't be happier! Additionally, conversation and the overall experience during the time I was there was comfortable, easy and very welcoming. Since my first tattoo there, I have returned three additional times to have tattoos done that I had set aside until I found a tattoo artist that I really liked; Mike Miller is that artist. Because of the tattoos I have received from Mike Miller at Devine Line Tattoos and the many compliments on the work he's done, one of my other daughters has now scheduled an appointment to see Mike and complete some artwork she has wanted done for a while as well. Yesterday in between dropping son off at daycare and going to work I had a little time. I got there right after opening. I was told to wait which was fine. When sat, I picked my color and just let the na tech do her thing. Well, she knicked me. Which is no big deal. It happens. UNTIL she knicked me again in such a painful way. I screamed and blood poured from my thumb. I got up to rinse it and it wouldn't stop. So, I got a paper towel to try to stop the bleeding. Owner asked what happened but didn't help me. Tech spoke foreign language and I lost my cool. I left swearing because instead of apologizing they talked to each other and not me!! An Asian gentleman approached me and asked if I had an appointment. After telling him I didn't he walked into the back and brought out a female Asian technician by the name of Emily. Following her to the room where pedicures are performed I couldn't help but notice how orderly and clean the entire salon was. They have very nice, actually luxurious chairs that do everything but talk to you. All the fixtures are beautiful and a whole wall waterfall relaxes the clientele as they are enjoying their treatment. Emily was professional and a very nice young lady. She offered me a drink and activated the chair for me. I was offered the upgrade to a normal pedicure which I declined but now wish I had taken advantage of after reading other reviews. Emily was very gentle and I was extremely pleased with the experience. As one of the other reviewers reported, this salon is sterile and the employees are practicing safe handling of the tools they use. You are assigned a box which only contain what is used on you. They write your name and part of your telephone number in the box and it is stored until your next visit. Not that it has anything to do with the service but I would be remiss without mentioning that every staff member I saw were nicely dressed and groomed. I couldn't help but notice there was one woman who walked past me as I was enjoying my experience that absolutely looked like a runway model. Long black hair, tiny little waist, taller than most Asian women, with one hell of a chest. She was dressed in all black and was just simply one of the most attractive Asian women I think that I have ever seen. If for no other reason I would return just to see her again. I gave a $15.00 gratuity which I hope was appropriate for the $35.00 service fee.
