At Body Kneads the atmosphere is comfortable and relaxing. Every member of the staff is pleasant, welcoming, and genuinely friendly. My visit was for a mani-pedi only. Having tired of strip mall quickies or more expensive nail spas focusing on acrylic nails, but short on quality of service, I was looking for a higher standard. The technicians were equal to or above what I have found elsewhere even at hotels, cruises and private spas. Finally, I have found a place that is top rate and highly enjoyable at a reasonable cost as well. I am looking forward to many more mani-pedis. And I can't wait to schedule a massage. read more

Body Kneads was exactly what my body needed! My friend was in town and we decided we were both in dire need of a massage. Body Kneads is located on the second floor of a brick building right off Lebanon Road. The lobby area of Body Kneads is decorated nicely and I felt very comfortable in their spa. They also have a cafe on the first floor of this building, which my friend and I hung out at while we were waiting for each other's massages to finish (they even have the wifi password on each table!). I called in the morning when they opened and the very sweet receptionist was able to make us a same-day appointment. We booked back-to-back fusion therapy massages ($75/hour) with Jennifer, who was awesome. Although the prices are definitely reasonable it is worth the quality of the massage as well. If you aren't sure what service you would like check out their website--it is very informative! They ask you to do an intake form when you arrive and you can indicate any problem areas you want them to work on. Jennifer asked after my massage if I have an office job because she could tell I had knots/tension in my shoulders which she was able to release some of that tension. Me and my husband goes every 2 week , for myself I have had 6 back surgery and need more but body kneads ( we have been seeing Jeanine for 2yrs ) helps me with controlling pain thru mayo / deep tissue massage , and my husband has had a lot of relief from her that was due to his stroke . When I arrived, they wanted me to fill out paperwork including current prescription information which is none of their business (HIPA). They gave me a robe that was old and scratchy. They didn't have slippers. I was very cold. Tables were not heated. I was accused of using a gift certificate twice although I never had been there before which made me feel uncomfortable. When I go to a spa, I want to be pampered. This is not a spa I will go back to. read more

Channing did an amazing job waxing my face. I've had it done a lot of times, and it was so much better this time!! It didn't hurt very much and I enjoyed talking to her while she did the waxing. I recently moved out of state and received a not-so-great massage at another establishment in NYC for the same price as one of Body Kneads Etc's fantastic massages. Because of the contrast in quality I immediately felt the need to compliment your services. I was a customer of Body Kneads on several occasions, and I always felt relaxed and happy to be there. I even continued driving back to Lebanon for Body Kneads once I moved to West Nashville because the ambiance, services, price, quality, and overall feeling when I would leave after a massage were all worth the drive. Your space and staff are both very inviting. It smells great. It's clean and well-decorated. I love the beautiful canine mascot in the office, too! Even while you offer a variety of services, your areas of the building are well-divided and appropriately separate from the quiet rooms for massage upstairs. And those rooms are beautiful. I have had at least three maybe four different massage therapists work on me at Body Kneads, and all but one experience were absolutely perfect, so the other one I'm writing off as a fluke. And for all massage appointments I always felt well-attended to and cared for by knowledgeable and kind people.
