Rejecting daith due to incorrect jewelry and placement.

I spoke with Eric Dakota (the man who invented the daith) who said that I have a tricky anatomy for this piercing. I am retracting what I said about the healing because it simply wasn't Brian's fault. Brian was courteous and professional the whole time: definitely worth a visit! Also, what I thought was expensive for a gold ring was actually pretty standard. I will say, however, that I wish there was a larger jewelry selection after having seen other studios' BVLA, Tawapa, Hialeah, etc. collections. If you're okay with a simple stud, Brian has you covered; if you want something with more shape or different precious stones, I'd recommend somewhere like Julhead or Oak and Poppy (even though Oak and Poppy's selection is mainly diamonds).

My 2nd time visiting the man, the myth the legend Brian for a few new piercings. Brought my friend for her birthday and can't trust anyone else.. he's just the best! Based on my ears we mapped out a couple ideas and went from there.. added 3 more to my left ear and they are just perfect. Everyone in the shop is friendly and warm, it's a nice place to be. Perfect location and plenty of street parking! There's so many beautiful jewelry selections and Brian will keep you at ease during the entire process. You're in great hands with anyone at Body Electric.

Late review but just wanted to thank Brian for an amazing job. He is so knowledgeable and he is truly an artist. I love my piercings and and can't wait to go back.

Ray was Amazing! Best attitude and just all around perfect service. I am beyond picky about everything and he went above and beyond to make sure I left happy. Such a good human. Make sure to go in & get your next tattoo from him or anyone else on the team!

I first got pierced by Brian a year and a half ago and 18 piercings later, I would never go elsewhere. Brian has exceeded my expectations every visit; from piercings to post shortenings and any issues, he has always gone above and beyond. If you're looking to get pierced, Brian is the absolute best! Not only does he know how to decorate, he makes the process as painless as possible. I love my piercings and they bring a smile to my face every day. Some artists have brushes, Brian's stroke of genius is the needle.

excuse the bad hair, but check out those ROCKS

I was in need of a piercer of experience 2 execute 5 piercings in 1 sitting. 2 on each lobe & 1 septum . Upon my doing research on YouTube, i came across BKT... I instantly knew he was the ryte person 4 the job. His résumé of clientele was tooo legit 2 b Bufu... I did not want 2 risk getting a crooked piercing, i thought- do it ryte, do it once. I got in contact with Veronica, & she set me up 4 a consult 2 get all my piercing measurements (i insisted i was very particular with my jewelry) (free of charge) den set me up 4 a date 2 get pierced All my piercings 4rm BKT were one n done straight & exactly where & how i wanted... I had read online that if a piercer doesn't pierce your "sweet spot" on your septum, it can go thru cartilage, which can be PAINFUL !!! My experience was literally painless... just a lil tears i later came back 4 a double brow piercing ===//= & as expected.. Perfect...BKT the best piercer... Worth the wait, price, whatever he expects... He's coo af Oh & the shoppe is dope n original... Nice floors, great choice of colors, the furniture, ambiance. Everything well thought out.. Thats how u know u about 2 get hooked up Thanks

Came in here for an ear piercing and Brian did an amazing job! I am truly satisfied with how the ear piercing came out! Great customer service as well and would definitely comeback. Would also like to add that Brian is a wonderful person and very talented, I respect the work he is doing!

Brian is the man! So sweet, so kind, good vibes. Did amazing with my nervous 13 year old sister for her first ear piercings. Clean shop, great front staff.

I had a "double cover-up" back tattoo that was a complete mess! Veronica at the front desk got me connected with Tibo. You guys, Tibo made freaking MAGIC out of the worst possible tattoo. He was sooo nice and patient with me through multiple sessions. You will be in the best hands with him. He is amazing at his craft! Thank you so much Tibo!!!

My 14K rose gold rook and 2 diamond cartilages pierced by Brian! I already had my helix and lobe pierced elsewhere.

Brian Keith Thompson is truly an expert piercer and stylist forsure. He's pierced Queen B, Cardi B, and many others. I really admire and love his style of piercing so I inquired about an appointment over email, which he then replied it's a $500 minimum to reserve an appointment with him. Each piercing being $50 each, a rook being about $370 total (jewelry and piercing) and each diamond stud being about $210 total. I made an appointment with him over email. His assistant confirmed the appointment the night before. Right when I met Brian, he immediately went straight to business while making me feel very comfortable. He has the type of personality where you instantly trust his opinion on what looks good, what doesn't, ultimately trusting him in general. I told him I wanted a rook piercing with a triple cartilage piercing. He said a triple would make my ear look too crowded, so we agreed on a rook and a double. (We both didn't want to do too many piercings at once). We then decided on jewelry (from BVLA -- so gold and diamonds), and then he prepped/sterilized all the equipment. The placement and actual piercings took about 5 minutes total. The entire process taking about 40 minutes. He also is very personable and talked to me/distracted me throughout the piercings. I'm not anxious or nervous about needles, but if you are, he would definitely be able to calm anyone down. After the appointment, they give you and explain a handout of how to take care of the jewelry, along with some mild soap. I'm so glad I booked an appointment with him. I will definitely come back in the future to get my lobes styled and pierced.

I've had my eye on Brian's ear art for years! & after FINALLY planning a trip to LA, I got to make an appointment with him. I set this appointment up as SOON as I found out we'll be in LA. Got to the shop, and met Brian and he is the most down to earth person! He's SO easy to talk to, and I can tell he gets along with EVERYONE, which makes your experience a million times better. I let Brian look at my ears and tell me what I should do. I trust his work. During my entire appointment, we talked stories as if we knew each other. I made my appointment right before my flight, so if I didn't have to book it outta there I'm sure I could be there for hours just talking stories. Brian is very detailed, and CLEAN. Very precise. Which is great for an artist. He marked all spots before piercing them. And pain wise it was literally a 2 out of 10. I've been WANTING to pierce my Tragus forever, but I've heard that it hurts. But the way Brian did it-NOPE! I 10000000% recommend you to see Brian!!!!! Such good meeting you Brian! See you in Hawaii @ Ono's!!!!

worth every penny for a truly professional piercing. this will probably be a core memory for my daughter after months of begging to have her ears pierced. 20/10 experience with Brian; there's nobody else i'd ever trust for a piercing again.

    Mandala tattoo on forearm

After procrastinating most of my life, I went to The Body Electric for my first tattoo. At age 72, I was concerned about whether my skin could still be tattooed, but the owner Brian assured me that Daniel would take good care of me. It was a great experience from start to finish. There was zero attitude from anyone there along the lines of "What is this old guy doing here?" stuff. The receptionist and Brian were so warm and welcoming. Daniel, my tattoo artist, is very experienced and has done a lot of older skin - he immediately put me at ease, and when he got to work he was fast and efficient. I am absolutely thrilled with the outcome and am already working with Daniel on the design of my next piece. So glad I came here!!

I wanted a tiger paired with specific florals (forget-me-nots, honeysuckle, and narcissus paperwhites) all kept above the elbow. Angie brought my vision to life more beautifully than I could have imagined. The process at Baron Art was seamless. After submitting a consultation form, I heard back within 1-2 days and coordinated everything with Cat (Angie's assistant) via email. Cat was wonderful, detailed, and quick to reply. On the day of my appointment, I received digital aftercare instructions after I checked in. Before starting, Angie was incredibly patient. She adjusted the tiger's scale on her iPad to match my arm and printed several stencils to ensure the size and placement was just right. She then freehanded the florals, precisely incorporating the negative space I requested to keep the design from feeling too heavy. Angie is incredibly talented and has a light touch. Even the pain in the inner bicep area was manageable. She made sure I was comfortable throughout the 4 hour session, and the result was perfect. This piece means so much to me and is very close to my heart, as it's a memorial for my mom who passed away recently. The forget-me-nots were her favorite flowers, and the narcissus paperwhites and honeysuckle are our birth flowers. The tiger was the first stuffed animal that my parents bought for me when we first immigrated to the US. It was my "guardian" throughout my childhood. Angie, thank you very much for your kindness and for creating such a meaningful, beautiful piece. This was the first of two sessions, and I already love it so much--I can't wait to see how it turns out! Some notes: - Snacks: I brought along Gatorade and was sipping on it before and during my session. I ate some candy and had a protein bar during the breaks too. It helped so much to keep my blood sugar up. - Vibe: So relaxing! The studio was spacious, and they were playing a throwback playlist from like the 2010s lol. I was vibing out and didn't even use the earbuds I brought! Everyone was so friendly too! Throughout the session, I noticed a couple artists stopped by to admire Angie's work as she was doing the tiger :) - Parking: parking in this location wasn't actually too bad. There's a structure about a 5 min walk away from the studio down the street. Just turn right into the little street where the Arrow Lodge Brewing is at. Go in a little bit, and it's on the left hand side. If you reach S Santa Fe Ave, you've gone too far!
