The fact you had an excuse in general for her behavior, says ENOUGH about how I was actually treated. A simple apology may have turned this entire review around. But this extremely unprofessional rant you just took it to a different level. I will stop in and have a conversation. Of course I have empathy, but there was no other reason in my mind why I would be treated so unkindly. And THAT is what you need to understand. I have changed my reviews on SEVERAL occasions based on the response I received from the owner or management. So please do not assume my character. I was treated poorly, and I made a review about it. I'm open to changing it based on our interaction, as i am not here to destroy ANYONES business. ----- wow. I tried. This is the most unprofessional response I've ever received from an establishment in my life. ---------------------------------- Worst customer service I've ever experienced at a tattoo shop. Came here because I live up the street and a friend of mine (a yt male) had gotten a piece done a week prior, so why not. I walked in and was greeted by a girl with pink hair. Nobody else was in the shop. Long story short, she wasn't helpful at all. I was smiling, trying to make small talk, because after all you are going to be permanently scratching into my skin, and I'm paying you $150 for a TINY, ONE NEEDLE piece. (My friend got a large bird head on his shoulder blade for $100 the week prior at this same location) HUH? Lol she was clearly not reciprocative AT ALL to my friendly conversation. Also was extremely short with me when I was trying to be precise about sizing location ect. At the end of it (10 minutes, to be exact.) the tattoo turned out cute. (I mean, it better have.) She made one positive remark, "so cute!" And I couldn't be happier to be out of that shop. Disclaimer, the other Hispanic gentleman that's usually there is always nice. It's just pink hair girl that made my 5 minute tattoo experience awkward. She gave me, "I don't like tattooing people of color" vibes. Oh well. That's what Yelp is for! read more

I went in with my husband and 2 of our other friends for a tattoo and I ended up only leaving with this stencil because the the tattoo artist (Ben) ended up not being accommodating and even rude in fact. We agreed on the placement of the tattoo but hadn't yet agreed upon the size, and when I inquired about the possibility of making it 1/4" bigger he changed the price from $80 to $180. But he tried to increase the price by an additional $100 to make it 1/4" bigger, then he asked if I could afford it, and I was offended. All he had to do was print another stencil. After he asked me if I could afford it he stormed off to the restroom. After he returned he was just on his phone and not paying attention to us any longer. Though he had gotten an attitude with me and stormed off I was still willing to get the tattoo. But when another white male customer walked in and asked to get his ear stretched Ben immediately went to attend to him leaving me waiting in the chair. Ben shared that "it was an emergency" and tapped my foot on his way to the back room in a matter of seeming "nice". I still let it go despite my concerns. When he returned from helping the other guy I simply asked him "before you stick a needle on my body I wanna ask you if you're ok". Ben responded "I'm good, it's just a tattoo, let's not be too serious in life. I like money." Yes tattooing is a job that people are compensated for as they should be, but it's also art that goes on someone's body for life. Ben doesn't understand that though, because when I expressed that to him his reply was "it's just a tattoo, it's not that serious." I have 10+ other tattoos and 14+ piercings on my body both big and small and I have never been treated in this way by any other tattoo or piercing artist. Why would a person receive a tattoo from someone that they're currently being gaslit by? I would never go back to this establishment for any service as they respect money more than they respect humans. read more

Okay so ive been here a couple times for different reasons but ive only ever been helped by the girl that works here, baha. Im honestly really upset because not only did i get tooth gems by her (and bring my own gems/be charged the same amount) they all fell off within a few days and theyre supposed to last 3-12 months when professionally done...i got 3 piercings by her. I got both sides of my nostril, one of which was pierced right on a nerve and also wasnt even with the other side at all so i had to take it out. She also pierced my eyebrow, which i just had to take out as well because it never healed after months. She pierced it in my literal eyebrow hair, and at such a horrible angle the jewelry would move around so much i now have a fat ball of scar tissue protruding out my eyebrow. Not only that, i had a nipple piercing in my nipple for years, so i went to have her unscrew the ball so i could change the jewelry. She told me my bar gauge was incorrect and too small for a nipple piercing and proceeded to literally gauge my nipple to a larger "correct" size. Which i guess i can understand but at that point ive had it for 10 years why would i do that to myself. Now it has never been the same and gets irritated all the time with bumps and such. Ive literally never had an issue with it before in 10 years of having it. Im just upset because i feel like she doesn't know what shes doing and i trusted her to do her job with knowledge and care and now im stuck with all this effed up shit. So yeah if you go here just dont have her do anything for you. I don't recommend it read more

Extremely disappointed in the way this shop is run. I came in to get a piercing and tattoo with some friends. I was told they were only accepting cash so I pulled money out of the atm in the shop. My friend went first and her septum piercing was completely crooked and she had to ask the owner to sanitize her nose area prior to piercing her. This made me nervous for the tattoo so I told the owner I did not want to do the tattoo anymore just the piercing. He refused to give me a refund even though this occurred within a 5 minute window and still had my cash in his pocket. He also kept changing the price of the services. I felt very taken advantage of and highly recommend going somewhere else. I'd like to give an update to my original review. I just had to go to a professional piercing shop because my ear is severely infected. After examining my ear it was suggested by the piercer that I take the piercing out because the jewelry is poor quality, the bar is way too short, my piercing was done crooked causing stress on my ear and it was placed too high on my ear. If my ear does not show signs of getting better I will need to go to the hospital for antibiotics and potentially a dermatologist to assist in minimizing the mass that has formed on my ear. DO NOT GO TO THIS SHOP!!!!!!! read more

Not one to complain, and not one to use yelp. But I figured people deserved to see this. I got tattooed last week by Jonathan. Went in with my buddy around 10:30pm last Thursday and we wanted to get small shop minimum tattoos. I ended up choosing a small knife, and right after the tattoo noticed that there was much more blood than I have ever experienced with a tattoo before, especially a small one. Then, it began to scab and become red and irritated in the following days even as I followed aftercare rules. Today, the scab came off in the shower (no, I didn't pick at it) and most of the ink on the tattoo came off with it. There's a wound where my tattoo should be, and it's deeper than it even looks in this photo. I believe the artist went far too deep with the shading on the handle of the knife. This is definitely gonna scar and will be months before I can even think about touching it up. Im incredibly disappointed with this tattoo, as small as it may be. Update: It's now infected. read more

Please please do not get piercings here! I came in for my rook and 2 days later it was severely infected. I took it to my usual piercer and they informed me that the barbell was a low quality metal with far too harsh of a curve. They removed the earring and found it was externally threaded as well (externally threaded earrings can essentially cause micro tears in the ear, prolonging healing and fostering infection). I got the earring changed by my usual piercer yesterday and the piercing is already doing better! read more
