I hadn't gotten a Brazilian since moving to Houston from Boston, so it had definitely been a while, but Hillary immediately put me at ease. She was incredibly light-handed, communicative throughout the entire process, and genuinely so good at what she does. I also really appreciated how educational and informative she was. She walked me through proper aftercare and made sure I understood how to care for my skin after sugaring, which made the entire experience even better. But honestly, what stood out most was how comfortable I felt around her. It genuinely felt like I was hanging out with a friend I'd known forever just girl talking and laughing while she did her thing. There was never an awkward or uncomfortable moment. The facility is also very clean and everyone was very nice and friendly. If I could give Hillary 10 stars, I absolutely would! While I understand scheduling issues can occur, a simple call, text, or email would have been greatly appreciated--especially since I drove from the Galleria area. It's unprofessional for a business to not be open during their advertised hours, regardless of whether clients have appointments. At 9:17 a.m., I was finally able to reach someone who informed me that the manager had been trying to contact me for two days because there were no trainees available for the time slots they themselves posted on the booking site. I checked my account just last night, and the appointment was still confirmed. No one ever attempted to contact me or cancel the booking. This experience was extremely unprofessional and disappointing coming from Sugaring NYC. I had recently canceled my membership with Hello Sugar and was considering returning as a client, but this experience only confirms I made the right decision to leave in the first place.

In the past year, they moved to their own separate office building now, which is nice because it's easier to find their office and there is plenty of parking in the area. It's not even that much further down from their previous office building that they were in. Drew makes me feel so comfortable every time I come in. First of all, getting waxing done in general already feels uncomfortable and usually hurts quite a bit (if you have a low pain tolerance like me), but I feel like the time goes by so fast every time I come here. My appointments normally are about 15-20 minutes long, which doesn't feel like it at all. Drew is so easy to talk to, and I love catching up with her every time I come in. The technique that she uses also doesn't really hurt as bad compared to other waxing places I've been to before. Well, it's been a couple of weeks, you can tell with her results (from a size 12-14 down to a size 10) with only a few sessions. So, I purchased the groupon as well. This place is crazy busy and is always booked up in advance quick. I was lucky to get a appointment for this week. When I arrived, Lola was super sweet! Great customer service. I told her that I haven't had one because its so expensive. She told me that there is a special that they are running which is $99 for unlimited wraps. I might want to do that after I used up my groupon. So doing this for the first time, I didn't know what to expect at first but my co-worker told me what to bring and what to do. Plus, Lola was super nice and attentive. She went through step by step so that I would know what to expect. Boy! After my wrap, I think I lost a ton of water. She had told me that I need to hydrate myself constantly afterwards, eat right, and come to do her wraps and she will help me take inches off. I can't wait!
