I was worried that there wouldn't be any new exhibits but I was surprised and happy to find the opposite to be true. They have definitely expanded and updated since my last visit. If you enjoy true crime and/or history this is a great spot to visit. On the crime side of things they have a wide range of crimes-not just serial killers or murder. (They do have a Ted Bundy VW beetle and 2 John Wayne Gacy clown costumes on display). They also have areas for financial crimes, etc. History wise they start off in medieval era, then the Wild West, mafia to present day. Nice exhibit on 911. Interactive exhibits too, like DUI and autopsy. Well worth the price of admission to me. Easily a couple hours of stuff to do. Especially nice on a rainy day!

If you have itty bitties, think before going!!…read more This is a great museum with lots of exhibits with detailed insight at them all. So there is LOTS of reading. So this becomes a 1.5-2 hour engagement. It can be dark in areas, so if you're the owner of old eyes. Break out the iPhone flashlight. The rooms are designed to be progressive thru the years (the Middle Ages were messed up!!!). So the pacing is well thought. We went in the off season and it wasn't crowded. I could see during the season, it could be a challenge. Lots of middle aged women that listen to "those podcasts". So husbands be wary when wives start nodding at one another. A great place to go on a "weather" day. As a side note, the staff made a point of stating that all but four display items were authentic and not recreations.

The Titanic Museum in Pigeon Forge is truly one of the most incredible and memorable experiences…read moreyou can have. From the moment you arrive and see the massive ship replica, you can tell this is something special. The exterior alone is stunning and immediately sets the tone for what's inside. As soon as you walk in, you're given a boarding pass with the name of a real passenger or crew member, which adds a deeply personal and immersive element to the visit. Throughout the museum, you follow their journey, and by the end, you find out their fate--it's a powerful and emotional touch that really connects you to the history. The exhibits are extremely well done and very interactive. You're not just looking at displays--you're experiencing them. From touching a real iceberg to feeling the sloping decks that simulate the ship's final moments, everything is designed to help you understand what it was like on board. The attention to detail is incredible, with beautifully recreated rooms like the Grand Staircase that make you feel like you've stepped back in time. The museum does an amazing job of balancing education and emotion. There's so much history to learn, with real artifacts, detailed information, and stories about passengers and crew that bring everything to life. It's clear that a lot of care and respect went into telling the story of Titanic in a meaningful way. The staff was friendly, knowledgeable, and clearly passionate, which made the experience even better. The entire facility was clean, well-organized, and easy to navigate, allowing you to take your time and fully enjoy each part of the museum. Overall, this is an unforgettable experience that goes far beyond a typical museum visit. Whether you're a Titanic enthusiast or just looking for something unique and meaningful to do, this is an absolute must-visit. I would highly recommend it to anyone--definitely a five-star experience.

The exhibit is full of fascinating artifacts, all clearly labeled and easy to follow. There are several interactive elements throughout, including a station where you can touch the water to feel just how cold it was that night. They also have a section with memorabilia from the movie, plus an impressive LEGO model of the Titanic that comes with a really cool backstory about the person who built it. Overall, it's engaging, informative, and memorable. I would definitely visit again.

This aquarium came highly suggested by a coworker of mine who is from the area. I'm so happy she…read moresuggested it because it was an awesome experience! With plenty of children around me clearly enjoy enjoying every second while in this aquarium, it's also clear that the adults and parents had something they could enjoy as well! The amount of species were really impressive! I certainly walked away learning a lot about the limitless life in our oceans- from favorite species like clown fish to unique/ "not so frequently seen" species like cool sea dragons that resemble floating kelp. We were able to see the entirety of the aquarium in about two hours, and the layout of the aquarium is great with a clear path to make it all the way through. Honorable mention to the awesome saw sharks. I actually don't know if that's their actual name, but there're nose kind of resembles a saw and they are so cool during the automated walkway through the tunnel of sharks and fish. It was so bizarre to just look up and see huge sharks right above me!! I was also really impressed with the amount of space these animals have. I know that zoos and aquariums can get a bad rep, but these animals really do seem very taken care of and happy in a simulated natural environment. I like how they included the water treatment room as a part that people can see because obviously these animals require very strict water treatment plans in order to keep them thriving. The penguin station was also one of our favorites!!! It was so cool to be able to crawl through a tube "into" their enclosure in a dome like clear glass and be surrounded by penguins!!! You can read the names on their flipper bands to tell them apart, and you can really get up close to see the differences in their beaks or features. I thought that was so cool. I liked the amount of cool snacks and beverages available too! I got a frozen peach lemonade that was so yummy. We were here during off peak time, but it was still very busy. It's a very popular attraction. I know they also offer some packages to if you're coming with family or friends and you'd like to do more than one Ripley related experience you can buy a pack at a discount at the teller. Don't forget to take advantage of your military or first responder discounts if possible while you're here!

The Ripley's franchise is more about popularity than content, so I have mixed feelings about my visit. As an adult visiting with no children, I found it interesting yet a bit boring. I did see things very well displayed, and I enjoyed walking under the water tank with sharks, but I wasn't totally immersed and entertained. But it was cool. The hefty price tag is definitely a deterrent to visit, but like I said, I am visiting and I need to spend my money somewhere. I would not recommend this to another adult. If you are visiting with kids and family, this place offers lots of fun, especially for kids. There are lots of fun facts and interactive exhibits, plus a nice playground and food and stuff. Plan your visit accordingly.

The majority of the attractions are not worth the money spent, but Hollywood Star Cars is worth every penny. It's one of the best places to check out! My daughter and I had a blast here! Whoever is in charge of obtaining the stars cars and organizing how they are displayed in this building, has done an incredible job! It was jam packed of so many to view, and they were so easy to recognize. They were displayed in settings where they were used in TV shows or movies. They also had the stars pictures and details about them, when they displayed their individual cars. It's such a cool feeling to be near a vehicle that stars have actually driven. It's the closest I'll ever get to them, some deceased, like Elvis Presley. It also makes me happy that these vehicles have been preserved for museum purposes, instead of being destroyed. Anyway, if you're trying to choose which place to go to, I would certainly choose this place. I plan to go again, because they said they switch the cars out pretty often. Young and older people will enjoy it, and everyone can relate to the cars displayed. I related more to the ones that were the older stars, and the cars that were used in the older movies and tv shows. But, my daughter related to the old and new. She's an "old soul," because she watches shows and listens to music that her father and I grew up with, but she also stays abreast of all the modern stuff. So, she enjoyed it, even more than I did. And, that's saying a lot, because I enjoyed it a whole lot!

This is a great place for all ages, but I think older kids will get the most out of this interactive museum. Which was perfect for my family, as my kids fit into that "older kid" category. Packed with more than 150 interactive exhibits, we had a blast checking out all of the VR games, as well as the four-story-high, state-of-the-art Flyride, a flying adventure that makes you feel like you're really flying! What else? There are old-school video games to play, Big Foot exhibits to explore, skee-ball and basketballs to shoot in the game area, a giant white ball pit to jump into, and lots more. This is a very hands-on, interactive museum. I highly recommend Beyond the Lens for families with older kids. Sometimes, it can be hard to find things that older kids will like. But older kids will like this place! And it's also suitable for younger kids, too, so the whole family can enjoy.
