their prices are exaggerated $35 for regular pedicure, i was informed about it while paying the bill. they don't give good massage, experience massage elsewhere and you will know the difference, to many stairs, many of their staff can not speak English. Wow, I cannot say enough good things about this place. Found this place on google and decided to check it out since it's local & I wanted a spa day. Walked into the salon and was greeted promptly also noticed that it's extremely clean. The woman at the front desk gave me some papers to fill out and then introduced me to the woman who would be going my facial. I started my morning with Consuelo who did my hydra-facial and my skin looks amazing. She took her time getting all my blackheads out as well as other trouble spots on my face and I'm so grateful. I cannot wait to come back next month for another facial. Also during my little spa day I was seen by Marcela who gave me a pedicure and did my dip powder nails. She was also meticulous when it came to her craft and never once did I feel rushed because of other clients or anything. I was truly able to take a few hours to myself and enjoy the moment. First time hear an I had a pleasant experience with my great friend ! We had a 11am appointment for basic pedis ! We arrive at 1015 early cause we were just in the area an they took our info fast ! We waited till about 1120 then they took us upstairs to our room . Everything was clean and very quiet vibes with was great for the vibes of a spa! They asked us to pick our nail color we both picked French they said ok with no issues .. after soaking .. filing .. hot stone massage .. treatment on our heels .. light scrub and massage and a amazing nail polish job we were off to dry together .. they spoke to us and let us record and take pics with no issues and when we were done checkout was smooth! Love this spa. My mom has been going to her since she only had a tiny space in Elizabeth. They are extremely professional and make you feel at ease since you walk in the door. They offer all types of services from hair, nails, laser, massages, and the list goes on. Only con is the parking because it is on a busy street. read more

The decor is nice. I went there for a regular pedicure and I received better pedicures elsewhere. Everything went well until the attendant soaked my feet. She didn't put on the water jets. Other places I went to for a regular pedicure, they put the spa jets on while my feet were soaking. That day I went to Bodies and Faces, my feet needed some pampering and I didn't get it. Also, I just read that the co-owner was recently arrested for sexual assault while performing a massage. This isn't good for business. Maybe they'll regroup. However, I won't go back. read more

First time here and probably won't be the last. I had received a massage and body scrub. I thought the place was nice and clean and that staff very nice. There was a language barrier between me and my masseuse but we managed to communicate just fine when she need to give me direction. I started off with a massage that left me half asleep and just about drooling. I thought the pressure applied was good but when she ran across my shoulder blades that was a bit painful. Once i tensed up she got the hint and changed the pressure. The scrub was heavenly and I felt refreshed for days after, my skin even feels softer. read more

First time ever getting a Brazilian wax & it was awesome! First off it is awkward to pull your pants down and bust it open in front of a stranger but I had Gloria as my technician and she was so great. She didn't speak much english and I don't speak much spanish but we managed to make each other laugh. Only reason why I gave it 4 stars is because the room was small as hell! Now granted I am a big girl but damn that room was so small with no window. They had a fan and we made it work. Other then that Staff is super friendly, prices might be a bit high but they give you a bunch of coupons. I will start by saying everything about my visit was horrid except for my facial, which was mediocre. I booked a few services (facial, collagen mask, wet and dry sauna, and massage) for my friend and as a present to myself for my birthday. To start, we were never told that we needed to fill out paperwork, so that delayed our start time. Once our paperwork was complete, we still had to wait. We were brought upstairs and told to change in one bathroom, as they do not have changing rooms. My friend was actually told to change in a service room, which was not subsequently cleaned after she finished. We were then brought to the wet sauna, which was nice and relaxing, and told that we would be in there for 15 minutes and then transition to the dry sauna. When the timer was finished, it was a ghost town upstairs, not one person in sight for at least 5 minutes to greet us or show us to the dry sauna. We came out of the wet sauna and were freezing only to go into the dry sauna that was NEVER turned on. Once we were done here, we were to told to shower and was escorted to, guess where, the wet sauna we came out of earlier!!!! GROSS! How doesn't a spa have separate showers and legitimate changing areas??!! By this time, we were pretty much done with this place and cancelled the massages. The facials would've been great IF they actually explained what they were putting on/doing, as most great spas do. We finished our facials and guess where I changed, in a service room! The spa itself looks like a house that they converted to a few service rooms (very small rooms) and saunas. There is no spa-like ambiance and I regret having gone there and spent money! read more

I have been a customer of this place for over 5 yrs having had my eyebrows tattooed there in the past. However my experience as of lately has been horrible. Do not waste your time, there other places you can go for permanent makeup that are actually professional. Firstly it took several attempts over the course of 2 months to get an appointment. They were either on vacation, or just not returning voicemails. Even the day I finally reached them for an appointment I had to call back three times as their receptionist was apparently late. Ultimately my appointed was scheduled for Saturday 6/10 at 6pm. As told I arrived for my appointment 15 minutes early and waited for about 25 minutes to be told that they were running behind schedule and that it would another 30 minutes before I would be seen. I expressed my displeasure to the owner and ultimately left as I am not accustomed to nor tolerable of unprofessionalism......I will not spend another time at the place. read more

I am only basing this review on today's experience because normally this place is normally great by today I decided to get a body scrub and a massage and unfortunately the massage as very weak. The body scrub massage was a lot stronger then the regular massage. I felt like she was just applying lotion in a circular motion but that doesn't mean that the other services here are no good because prior to this visit I have never had an issue with this place. read more

I really enjoyed my experience here. I went here before they recently changed management, as a birthday gift. When I walked in they greeted me by name and the receptionist was so welcoming. She wanted to make sure I was completely comfortable. I received a Brazilian wax, a sauna treatment and a body scrub. The Brazilian wax was amazing. I haven't been waxed in awhile and the pain was at a minimum. The lady didn't speak much English, but it was enough to get through the wax. My main concern was the pain, and it wasn't that bad. The sauna was nice as it opened the pore and refreshing. The body scrub, OMG ! I would suggest this for everyone at least once a quarter. I walked out feeling like I had a brand new skin. My skin was super soft, it's already soft but you get the gist. The scrub was nice. The lady spoke more English than the wax lady, but I really liked the scrub. read more

This is by far the worst place to get a wax. I felt like I was in mad scientist laboratory or even better an Asian nail spot. I'm from Maryland and I am also a waxing specialist I went for a quick Brazilian since I was in town and couldn't do it myself at home. First of all this wax was scolding hot and this lady spoke no English. I'm not sure how long she's been working there or how she got licensed but this was by far the worst wax and the worst place to go to. I have been here a few times before and all i have to say is your service depends on who you get. Last year one of the estheticians ruined my skin after I went in for a facial. My acne was moderate at the time and I wanted to look glowing for a dance I had in a week. I trusted her and I left the spa with my face bleeding where she did the extractions. She was using her fingernails and it hurt very much. I now know I should have said something. An esthetician should never use her fingernails! My face scarred and it is still healing. I did go yesterday for another facial treatment and thank god I got someone else who did it right! Her name is Consuelo and she is amazing. Everytime I go back I will ask for her. She used cotton this time (not her fingernails thank god) and I actually left the spa with glowing skin. She was kind and super understanding unlike my previous esthetician. I will definitely go back but only for her! If it wasn't for my previous experience this review would have five stars. read more

I haven't gotten a facial in a while, well I was highly disappointed in how the place that I was going to was leaving my face. It's been around 7-9 months since the last time, I was recommended this place by a family member she spoke very highly of one of the workers Karen, and the way they treat people here. Since i have a special event i decided to give it a try and it's for sure one of the best decisions I've made. She worked wonders in my skin, being twenty years old and not really knowing what your skin is doing is scary. Karen took out all of my imperfections not to mention how delicate and sweet she is, the products they provide is 100% worth the money you're spending for sure. The job she did makes you want to continue to come well not only are you being treated well, she also provided me with suggestions to take care of my face and left my skin glowing.
