Now that I'm close to 40, it has been harder for me to take a "tough it out" approach when it comes to injuries. My aches and pains just don't heal as quickly, and I've been turning to sports massages as a remedy to help my body recover from exercising. You can only do so much with stretching and foam rolling. I couldn't be happier with Sydney's approach and treatment. She has a very warm personality and made me feel welcome right from the start. She also spent a lot of time trying to better understand my aches and pains, my fitness routine, and my recovery process in order to create the best possible treatment plan. On top of an excellent 90 minute session where she applied the right amount of pressure and helped with my trouble spots, Sydney also offered great advice on how to keep the recovery going (offering great stretching exercises, hot baths, etc). I'll continue to use Sydney for treatment, and I highly recommend her services. One note - don't come in expecting a relaxing massage that you may expect at a 5 star resort (these are a waste of time and money in my opinion). 7+ Years of Loyalty Gone -- Credits Wiped Out Without Warning…read more I have been a loyal Hand & Stone member for over seven years, and I am beyond disappointed with how I was treated. Without any warning, my membership was cancelled, and with it I lost over 20 credits I had accumulated -- many of which were built up during the pandemic when services were limited or unavailable. At no point was I notified that my membership was about to be terminated, nor was I given the opportunity to use my credits, pause my account, or make any kind of arrangement. For seven years, my membership had never once been cancelled. To suddenly terminate it and wipe out credits that were already paid for feels unfair, unethical, and frankly unacceptable. Those credits represent real money -- not a courtesy, not a gift -- and losing them without notice is a slap in the face to long-term, loyal customers. This experience has completely destroyed my trust in this company. Loyalty clearly means nothing here. I would strongly caution anyone considering a membership to read the fine print carefully and not assume your unused credits are safe -- because mine weren't.
