We were pleasantly greeted and offered a seat. We noted that many tables were reserved and we happened to luck out without a reservation which is highly recommended for this prime spot. We enjoyed tapas that specialized in many local traditional dishes. Our server was a champ covering the entire outdoor area while ensuring top service. A great spot to stop for refreshments after sightseeing in the area.

I asked him to tell me about the bacaloa (cod fish) and he gave it great reviews but let me know about another white fish. He walked me in the restaurant and showed it to me. I enjoyed it immensely. Perfectly cooked and the lettuce/potato sides were seasoned exactly how I like it. My husband ordered the Iberico ham and it was also perfect- not too oily and a generous portion. I would definitely eat here again!

However, this flamenquin was incredibly dry and didn't have much flavor. It actually felt like I was eating a day old dish that was fried too hard. The other items I had were okay. They offered a dessert that was some kind of almond cake and that tasted good (the waiter told me it was their specialty) but again, nothing super amazing. I would advise anyone looking for an experience in Cordoba authentic cuisine to look elsewhere but if you're just looking for a place to grab some grub at decent prices, this may work for you.

The fifth and last tapa was one I chose and was not recommended - tallarines en salsa de boletus y parmesano, which was literally the worst pasta I've ever tasted, and should not even be on the menu. Everything else was super tasty, and for €1.80 for a caña (small beer) and a tapa, it's cheap eating.

Their lighting "rubia" was nice and crisp. Their brown ale was good, bitter and fruity, and their IPA was good too. We tried the salmorejo, Cordobán dish, and it was good: served with crackers and quail eggs. They have more beers from other parts of Europe, but all bottled or canned.
