It's such a fun setup. I will say don't expect to get anything near retail price on packs -- you're obviously paying market price here -- but if you have some money to spend and just want to test your luck, this is such a fun place to do it. I also bought a promo Snorlax card and they sold it to me literally at market price, so I was super happy about that too. No crazy markup! The staff is super nice as well. The guy who helped me out even recommended a few packs, and I ended up pulling an SIR Squirtle out of Scarlet and Violet! I think it's one of the top chase cards, so I left the store on such a high. Select the packs you want and they'll get you those packs. What is pretty cool too is they give you a few sleeves and top loaders incase you get any hits, which we didn't. Some of the packs are kind of decently priced, but the thing that sucks for me is that the packs were priced pretty higher than market price. If the prices were a little cheaper then I feel like it would make this place a little more enjoyable. If you're expecting to rip some of the newer stuff, you can get a decent deal but anything older is way more expensive. Overall this was fun to come to as this aesthetic isn't something you come across too often. Definitely worth a trip even if you don't plan to buy anything. But I'm pretty sure you'll buy a pack or two.

They no longer carry them, so after "Googling" it, I found East Coast. I was looking for a little extra pizazz to add to my son's birthday party "goodie bags" being that he invited his team to laser tag. I could be wrong, but it seems like card collecting has fallen by the wayside. So I figured, why not... Everything was right there for you to pick from. They have EVERYTHING, from current to old school. The guy there was extremely helpful and when he must've heard my son asking me about the packs of cards to put in his gift bags, the guy gave my son a little something extra for his birthday. (Was very nice of him and was a very nice gift). If you're like me and used to be in the card game, stop on in. Place is on point and who knows.... Hopefully my son will get interested in the hobby and it'll give me more of a reason to go back!

They have events and game nights, and some of the items are slightly expensive and others fairly affordable . The owner is always there and they're very nice and friendly . Considering I was let down over there, I literally was taught very quickly not to judge a book by its cover! This place has the absolute best collection of Pokémon cards you can find. They have everything you are looking for, and for an actual decent price too. They also sell One Piece cards supposedly, but that is not what we came in for. The owner, Aleksey, is really cool too. Just a heads up on paying: He does take cash, but if you're paying with card he prefers that you pay via an actual physical card and not Apple Pay or Google Pay because he had fraudulent activity through mobile payments in the past. An actual card protects him and his shop. It put my man in a bit of a pickle the first time because he pays for everything via Klarna, and he did not have his physical Klarna card at the time. He had to put everything on his credit card instead, which is something we do not like to do. But it's okay, lesson learned, we know now. We weren't going to walk away from this goldmine without getting anything. So just something to know before you go. Also note that paper receipts are not available, only digital. For parking, it is street parking that you pay for online through the ParkMobile phone app. Street parking can be iffy depending on the time of day and in general because it is Hoboken after all.

I'm pretty new to the hobby (baseball cards specifically), and they were approachable without making me feel like I was walking into some exclusive collector club. They have a really nice selection and, most importantly, the prices didn't feel outrageous. That's huge considering baseball card collecting can go completely off the rails and sometimes feels more like an investment market than a hobby these days. I've been really happy stopping in on my way from a nearby workplace and grabbing a pack here and there. Great atmosphere, great staff, and a place that actually makes the hobby feel fun. Highly recommend.
