Traditional Burger and fries. Delicious!!!!
Joe P.

Freaking Delicious!!! I got the traditional burger with fries. I thought it was a little expensive at first but after I ate it I quickly realized it was totally worth it! They have really made the place look nice and you should totally give it a try.

Oregano Latin Bar and Grill - Bandeja Paisa

Oregano Latin Bar and Grill

We stopped here after visiting margaritaville and wanted Spanish food. It was a Saturday afternoon…read moreand absolutely no one in the parking lot so we were a little nervous. The service was fantastic, we were the only ones in there and the server treated us like VIP. She even gave my grandmother a sample of the mondongo before getting a big plate. The food came out within 5-10 minutes incredibly fast. And the flavor, the freshness, the appearance 10/10/10 I wish there was another restaurant here in Orlando. We will definitely be back when in Georgia again :) check this place out!

The parking lot in the front was completely empty. Not a good sign on a Saturday night. It gave me pause and I considered trying a different place, but the one I checked out prior to this one was closed for repairs, and the one I tried prior to that one I literally could not find, so I decided to try it anyway. When I got there, it was empty, and I don't mean empty as in "the last few customers just left". I mean empty like "it's been dead all day". The staff were both sitting in the front chilling out. I thought, "Okay, so they've been a bit slow today." When I walked in the door, both the staff went in the back. Huh? I could understand the chef going into the back, but the wait staff?? She came back out front a few minutes later. I waited for her to direct me and when she didn't, answer minute or two later I asked, "Should I just sit anywhere?" She just nodded. Okey dokey. The first table I walked to still had food on the table from where it was not cleaned properly previously. The dishes and such were gone, but the staff had not washed it properly and you could see food on the tabletop. Yuk. I chose a different table, and sat. The waitress brought over the menu and a small basket with utensils, a straw and omelet green salsa. No chips or anything for the salsa, so I figured she would be bringing something for it later. I asked the waitress something about the menu items and honestly, she acted like I should know all this already. I ordered the mini bandeau paisa which was very tasty and I ate it all with no leftovers. It was served on a metal plate and I'm fairly certain it was warmed over, but it was the type of dish that is a bit better when warmed over so that was fine. I thought the waitress just plain didn't like me for whatever reason. Sometimes restaurants are not happy to see a single customer all by themselves, but about ¾ of the way through my meal, another couple came in and they got the same treatment. Mind you, the three of us at two tables were the ONLY customers in the restaurant. I saw no takeout orders or anything. Yet, the waitress acted like we were really taking it out of her to have her do her job. She served everything, but I don't think she gave even one smile the entire time. Honestly, even though the food was good, it was not good enough to make up for the feeling that I was not wanted in the restaurant. It's unlikely I will go back.

Punto Sabroso - Watching the World Cup

Luckily I got the bright idea to try to kill two birds with one stone and grab some grub while catching what was left of the game. Since I've been to Colombia quite a few times I figured I'd compare their cuisine to what I'm used to seeing and tasting when actually traveling out that way. Sure enough they were showing the game on a nice big screen with a couple of other folks in there with me on a Sunday afternoon. Wasn't packed wasn't completely empty just like I like it. Their menu actually has both what you typically see in a Colombian restaurant in Medellin or Bogota while adding a lot of other options that you might not see at a typical Colombian restaurant in Colombia. The food actually turned out to be tastier than expected. The salad was very fresh...freshness and simplicity being signature adjectives used in describing good Colombian fare. The Pechuga de Limon...Lemon Chicken Breast was tasty with the right amount of tang and salt without being overwhelming. Rice and maduros (Sweet Plantains) were good as well. Meal ran me $14 which was the only part that did not remind me of Colombia lol. But quite fair for Atlanta. This place is in a plaza where you dont have to worry about parking. Service was also very good. And as a bonus I discovered that they have rumbas on Friday and Saturday nights til 4am. I am quite excited to partake in that! Maybe it will feed my frequent hunger to get on a plane and salsa outside the states. To be continued...

Ok my Colombian friends!!! This is an authentic Colombian restaurant. The server told us that all…read morethe food is prepared in the restaurant :) one star for homie food. I tried the passion fruit juice without sugar (it's good they give you the option to choose if you'd like sugar or not), another star for that. They brought us chips and salsa on a side, which made me feel like I was in a Mexican restaurant. If the owner could change that for the Colombian "pan de bono" it would be the cherry on top, nothing more Colombian that a good pan de bono. I ordered chicken with mushroom sauce that was delicious. I substituted vegetables for the rice. The beans weren't tasty at all, I would cook them with natural broth, more veggies and spices. The server was friendly, polite and was attentive, another star because of him. Keep up the hard work guys, I know you've only been open for 6 month. I'm sure you'd get better.
