This is a super cool Colombian restaurant in Duluth. Service was phenomenal. Great atmosphere. The food was the star of the show though. I got a combination platter that had all kinds of great stuff on it. My sons shared the Tarasco steak with fries. All food was seasoned really good! . It was a ton of food. Overall, a great Colombian food experience in Georgia. I would come back.

We decided to come here to check out a new spot. One of our friends said was pretty good. The restaurant was very busy and our waiter only speaks Spanish, but thankfully, our friend was bilingual. I know enough Spanish to get by but not to order off a menu. I wish I would've gotten a picture of the restaurant, but there were so many people there and I didn't want them to get annoyed that they were in my picture. We were all really hungry and so we got a starter called Arepas. I didn't know what it was till it came, but they were huge, the size of a pancake. It's basically corn meal I think with cheese. I would imagine not very healthy. It tasted OK to me. It was just fried and just not really something I would normally go for. For my entrée I chose a chicken and rice dish with a side of plantain. It was one piece of plantain and I usually like them because they're sweet but this one just tasted kind of dry and not that sweet. I didn't even finish it. The chicken to me was OK. It tasted better with the sauce that was on the table, which tasted kind of like a flavored mayo, not spicy, more like a creamy sauce of some sort, but I cannot pinpoint the exact flavor. They had other varieties of meat, including different types of steak, pork loin. They also have beverages, including alcoholic if you're in the mood. Our friend got a strawberry daiquiri and it looked really good, but I didn't try it. There's also someone walking around with these big pieces of some type of bread That you can purchase. I also skipped this part. My daughter got the beef dish and it came with these red beans and rice. I tried the red beans and they just weren't for me. They didn't have much flavor. All in all, the meal was just OK for me. I don't see me coming back here. But I can tell it must be a pretty popular place because it was really packed. There was also live music with a singer belting out his big voice.

**** Review 147 **** I've had the pleasure of eating at their other locations, and their service was ok, what made me go back every time was the amazing flavors, the portion sizes, and the value of what you paid for. Unfortunately, my last visit had just the amazing flavor. I do have to admit, I did visit the restaurant 45 minutes before they closed, and to make it easier on the staff I decided to do a carry-out order. The staff was rude, and seemed like I was a bother to them. I ordered a Bandeja Paisa, which the receipt shows that, but I was also charged some kind of take-out convenience fee. Their prices are really high, and their portions have drastically been reduced. Once I got my food none of the staff even acknowledged me, they just handed me the food and walked away. I don't know if this was just at this branch, but it's not good for business if this is how they treat customers.

I finally tried Colombian food and I wasn't disappointed. We were looking for a place that had good drinks and good food. My family and I were in Atlanta for my bachelors graduation and stumbled upon this gem. We were greeted and seated. They are super busy so it can get hectic when it comes to seating people. But aside from that the waiter and food was great. I ordered a tamarind/mango jalapeño margarita to drink. It was delicious. I wish I had taken a pic of it. They dress it up with tajin rim and a charm pop. We ordered empanadas as our appetizer. We are Salvadoran and it reminded us of a dish similar to ours. Made it feel warming. I ordered this dish that might even be an appetizer but it had everything that was great. It had yucca frita...super tender yet crispy, pork belly, pork ribs, and sausage. It was so good. My family was also very pleased with their dishes no complaints. There are two locations. Seems the one to the left of the one we visited is more of a fast food restaurant instead of a sit down. It is also on the pricey side but we'll worth it. I will definitely e back if I'm ever in Atlanta again.

First time coming to this place. My brother has been here before and was making a few recommendations. I got the mango jugos naturales and it so delicious! For the main course, we decided to order different things and split them so we can try everything. We got the churrasco colombiano, we got it medium rare, but I think next time we would get it medium. There was also a little too much fat on the meat that could've been trimmed off a little. The server recommended apollo a la campesina, the sauce on the chicken was really good and the chicken is nicely cooked and not dry at all. We also ordered a de la abuela (hot dog) and it has probably the best toppings and sauces on it. Will definitely order the hot dog again. For dessert, we got the crepe fusion #1. We went with strawberry and banana. It came with ice cream, whipped cream, and drizzled with caramel sauce. We also got the ensalada de frutas. It was a good dessert, but however the cheese threw me off. It's definitely a dessert to share because it's a decent size.

Picada de la abuela ($15)

Las delicias de la abuela is a Colombian family owned restaurant that has two locations. One in Buford and one in Pleasant Hill, Duluth. I've only been to the one in Pleasant Hill. They have a very extensive menu based on grilled meats, empanadas, arepas and traditional Colombian food in general. We ordered a "Picada de la abuela" or "Chopped La Abuela" which is a bowl with grilled chicken, sausage, blood sausage, pork belly, ribs, empanadas, arepas, and fries. ($15). The food was really good, and tasty. That's the whole 3 stars right there. The service... meh. They don't seem to care about you at all. I had to call our server several times for basic stuff like napkins, utensils, or refills. Might be back just cause the food is actually really good.

I came here for the first time to celebrate Mother's Day! My mom had heard of this place before so we decided to give it a try. We got the ribs and 2 of the mini bandejas. The food is delicious! It is more food than what we are used to so we did have to take some of it TOGO. If you have a huge appetite this is definitely a place you should try! The service was great, the atmosphere was nice and my mother loved the mojitos. I can't wait to come back again.

I really wanted a crepe and my fiance found this awesome little spot in Duluth Georgia. The crepe and waffle was Amazing. There is a bit of a language barrier as the employees only speak Spanish but if you use google translate you will be fine. The prices are reasonable and the staff is very friendly. I truly enjoyed my crepe and my fiance loved his waffle. Great snack.

I came here with my Colombian friend that helped me pick the best options so I could get a variety of items that she rated top notch. I love hotdogs and had to get the Colombian version of one. It's one of the most unique hotdogs I've ever had. It's topped off with garlic sauce, pink sauce, pineapple marmalade, crushed chips, mozzarella, and a boiled quail egg. Omg it's one of the BEST I've ever had! I died and went to culinary heaven. Trust me get one! We also ordered the empanadas, which were just as good. Among the other items we ordered we got a cheese and ham arepa, as well as the bandeja paisa. No complaints here but just praises as the food was savory and scrumptious! They do have a full bar with a variety of drinks to choose from as well as Colombian beers. I was too full to indulge on the desserts but the dessert bar was esthetically pleasing and smelled incredible! The service is great, very attentive. The restaurant gave a homey and cozy vibes. Dress code is casual. They do have complimentary parking. I am definitely coming back to enjoy and try more of the exotic plates they offer. It's not often you see Colombian cuisine, worth a visit!
