I was simply amazed at how well-organized each event was. So many people to deal with and so much to organize, and they did it well and did it with a smile. My biggest complaint (and it's not a big one) was that the last event had a slightly long check in line-- but nothing too serious and the fact that they had hor d'ouvres and champagne being passed definitely eased any minor 20 minute inconvenience! I also had good experience booking (online), prices were as agreed during set up, no surprises, etc. Overall 5 stars and I won't hesitate to travel with them again. BTW, I'm writing this after watching the Fyre Festival Netflix documentary--it is crazy! The events Cloud 9 does are different (no models, haha ;), but if I had seen it before going on these trips I'd be super worried. Figured others might appreciate the re-assurance about Cloud 9. They are legit. I think back on these trips as some of my favorite adventures & am thankful to Cloud 9 for putting them on!

Little tip, don't bother with Hollywood it's a gorgeous beach but insanely crowded. You have the pompano taxis, then transfer to Fort Lauderdale. The yachts and architecture is amazing. Then you will transfer to Hollywood. Just know that the first two rides are over an hour and this was an all day experience. The first mates are awesome and knowledgeable about the area and the real estate market. You can buy alcohol on the boats (they take cash, cards and Apple Pay). If you want to spend an amazing day learning about the area and going to great restaurants and doing some shopping this is the way to go. Just know that if you have children the later in the day the more drunk some of the passengers may be.

At the entrance, you're assigned the identity of a real passenger and follow their story throughout the experience. Along the way, you explore authentic photographs and artifacts, see props from the film, learn how the ship was built, take a virtual submarine dive to the wreck site, and sit in a lifeboat as the final hours unfold around you. We spent an embarrassing amount of time creating AI portraits of ourselves as Titanic passengers... and it was worth every minute. Fun time, but I couldn't shake the melancholy. No matter how familiar the story is, it still hits hard: the lives lost, the class divide, the passengers who never had a fair chance, and the painful reality that so many more people could have been saved. Parking is free in their large lot and there is good directional signage to direct you to the entrance. When you check in you are given a boarding pass of a real passenger, at the end of the exhibit you can check to see if your passenger survived. Mine did not. There are rooms with artifacts from the Titanic. In another room you put on a virtual reality headset that takes you under the ocean to the actual wreck. You can see the entire exhibit in about one hour. Tickets are $45 for adults, $35 for seniors and children under 12 are free.

Several friends of ours chilled out by the salt water pool and took a dip in to cool off. There are plenty of lounge chairs and complimentary towels as well as soda and water to use and sip on while having some fun in the sun. There is a boardwalk that goes to the private beach area and a covered area to enjoy lunch during certain hours of the day. I got a turkey cabana sandwich, which had quite a bit of bacon, lettuce, and mayo with a cup of fruit. It was a bit pricey, but it was great and the portion was huge. The friendly service was quick in the beginning and started to become busy as the afternoon went on. We had to try to find our waiter a couple times to check on some food being brought out and for our bill. It's only open to hotel guests and club members only. The hotel guests have full use of the club from 7 a.m. to 10 p.m. during the day of arrival through the day of departure. We were able to enjoy one afternoon of it and it was plenty for us. There were bath houses for changing and showering. There are membership options that you can contact through the hotel website or phone number for more information. Too bad time had to hit or else we would have forgotten about reality a little while longer during our visit ;)

Perspective: New diver with my veteran buddies on Scubatyme III for a Veterans Day/Marine Corps birthday dive. With that out of the way, I was nervous! New. Like NEW diver! The captain and dive master were top notch, masterclass. They made me feel completely comfortable and I knew that I was in good hands once we approached the dive site. We booked through Force-E and had our tanks delivered to the dock by Force-E. There was a mixup and one of our tanks disappeared, but the team was very helpful and made it all work. Since I'm forced to give at least one star, I will start with their one positive feature. They have their own access to Pompano Beach. It's a great way to see the sunrise. And why are they called a "resort"? They are worse than a Motel 6. At least all the Motel 6 that I've stayed during my younger days were clean. We had room 31. It is at the end, around the corner on the back side. Looking from the outside, it was already disgusting. Take a look at the rusted AC unit in the photo, rusted nails and unpainted exposed wood. Hey at least the AC works, that is if I dare to breathe the air coming from that dirt-crusted front. See photo. Have they ever cleaned this thing? Just looking at the photos is giving me PTSD. They shoved a king (maybe queen) size bed into an area that is clearly too small to fit normal furniture, so there are no night stands on either side of the bed. See photo. It's just the bed, and no place to put a phone. My husband uses a CPAP machine, and we had to get creative to fit the machine near him. Again, the floor is disgusting, so we didn't want to put things on the floor, either. The mattress is extremely lumpy and overused such that I sink down several inches when I lay down. I am not a big person. I couldn't get comfortable all night and maybe slept for two hours. The closet has no door or cover and has zero hangers. ZERO. The light is the old-fashion pull-string type that has yellowed and open-frayed at the end. See photos. The kitchen floor is nearly bare-wood. A smaller, shorter piece is clearly a poor repair that sits lower and sinks in when you step on it. It was a trip hazard. See photo. The stove is sort of usable. It's the narrow kind. Don't look at the window. The trims are not square with too much plaster. I didn't dare to touch anything. Maybe it opens, maybe not. Don't know. See photo. The bathroom amenity is one bar of soap. See photo. There were two plastic cups and towels. Again, it's just like Motel 6. This is NOT a resort. Don't look up, either. You'll see all the ceiling crack lines, stains, and poorly done drywall repairs with uneven drywall mud. See photo. Parking is double-stacked outside. Hopefully, no one will block you in. See photo. We left after one night and checked into the nearby Hampton Inn instead. (Much newer and clean!) Because we were there for a family reunion, we handed the keys to our SIL and niece who wanted to see "how bad could it be???" There was heavy rain that evening. When they returned to this room, there was a big puddle on the floor. We were so glad that we left this dump.
