It had not worked for a few years, but we love it. Since it had to be looked at after the move, I went on Yelp to see who was the best person to fix it. I saw all the positive reviews and decided to go with Bob from Clock ER. He responded within a few hours, and then came out THAT day to look at the clock. He said if was missing some pieces and some of the pieces were broken. He took the heart of the clock home with him. He was upfront about the cost and we thought it was very reasonable. He came back the next afternoon and put it all back together. And now it works BEAUTIFULLY! We have missed the sound of the clock chiming and are very happy. I recommend Bob to anyone that needs help with their clocks! His father was a clockmaker as well, so it's in the family. Thank you Bob!!!

We moved a grandfather clock to Florida. When it got here pieces were missing, the wires on the…read moreweights were mangled and it was losing time every day. I reached out to the manufacturer and replaced the missing pieces. They recommended Mr. Simpson from P.F.S. Timepieces in Lake Worth. He came to our home the following day, showed us that the wires were frayed and needed to be replaced. He took the clock face with mechanisms, weights and pendulum. A week later he put the clock back together in minutes. He balanced the clock so it is solid on the floor. Mr. Simpson explained what we can do if the clock runs fast or slow. We have a year warranty, can call with any questions and should be set for ten years. Besides being very knowledgeable and competent he was neat and interesting. He was a watch repairman in New Rochelle for many years and shared stories of elaborate homes he has repaired clocks in. Hopefully, we won't need P.F.S. Timepieces Inc. for ten years, but I highly recommend Mr. Simpson's work.
