The sweet bell peppers gave the sandwich a nice sweet and savory touch. The steak they used is always tender and flavorful and the rolls are nice and fresh and able to hold up to the juices from the meat-never soggy (this is important for those of us who do not like soggy bread). Please note that if you come in the evenings or weekend it is very busy and it's worth it to call ahead or you'll wait a while for your food to be ready. But if you have the time to spare it's nice to browse the vintage candies and snacks they have on display that are hard to find anywhere else as well as all the autographed pictures of famous people who've come there showing its long history as a staple in the area.
