Easy check-out experience as well, which wasn't always true in the past and one reason I stopped going. Put this place on your rotation and you won't be disappointed, a must-visit in the area! Star off for seeing a few products from different countries without ANY labels in English. I don't know if this is even technically legal in Delaware, maybe someone can let me know since I routinely shop in 5 different states and can't keep up. When I lived in England for sure they had to print out labels in English to stick onto food packages if there was no English already printed on them----and basic nutrition info as well (like our RDA's... this was like 20 yrs ago I'm only guessing this is still true). Seems reasonable, and the products I often saw with these labels were still inexpensive at warehouse-style stores in England. What about allergies? Or just knowing what the main ingredients are?

There are a couple stops to choose from, depending on the type of peaches you want. Afterwards, you hop back on the bus to the farmers market. It's takes place from May to October on Wednesdays at Rodney Square. The market closes a stretch of Market Street (market on Market, ha!), making it very pedestrian friendly. You can find some produce (limited selection), craft items, honey, etc--and food trucks. Lots of food trucks. I think this is a good thing! Many local businesses congregate here, drawing crowds of hungry office workers. The food selections are varied, from American and Caribbean to Mediterranean, Thai, and dessert trucks. There is also live music. It was a nice surprise to stumble on this while looking for lunch recently. This farmers market may not be where you go to get all your freshest fruits and veggies. But it brings some liveliness and positive energy to a regular Wednesday afternoon in Wilmington.
