They didn't have the particular ones I was looking for in stock, so I was offered the ability to try on other boots of that brand in hopes to find my size. Which we did (not the same model). I was then told that they could order them, I said great! Boots come in, I take them home and put them on. Close fit, but not quite right. Especially for something like boots that you're going to be wearing all the time. So a few days later I swing back by the store and ask if I could exchange them for a different size (still new in the box, tags, wrappers, didn't even lace them all the way). I was told albeit politely, that they cannot exchange or return them because they were "special order".... I'm sorry.. what?? Special order? You sell Carolina Boots..? Mind you, NONE OF THAT was mentioned prior to me agreeing to order them, or even when I took delivery of them. Politely told to kick rocks (pun intended). Any other shoe outlet would gladly either exchange and quite honestly except a return. Any local name brand store front, and definitely an online shop. This is one of the reasons why local stores go out of business sadly. Poor service. Because now I have a really really nice pair of boots that don't fit. In closing: if your policy is NO EXCHANGE/RETURN on "ordered" shoes, you need to disclose that before hand. ZERO excuses. Lazy and quite honestly it's unprofessional.

Just tell them your phone number when making a purchase and you get credit for the purchase. We picked up a UV protective t-shirt as a gift for someone. It was reasonably priced imho, very soft and moisture wicking. Brilliant. I should probably get myself one too. BTW, the company no longer offers bags. None. So bring a reusable bag if you plan to shop here. It's just another way to reduce waste and be a good steward. Some of the prices can be high, but not everything. They sell Patagonia which is an expensive brand, as well as other, more moderately priced items. You just have to know what you want and what you are willing to pay. If you check out the bulletin board upstairs, they offer guided excursions that look really fun. I check out their selection of hiking poles as I am looking to buy some. Everything from really reasonable basic models to foldable, light weight pricey models. So you have options. They have pet items. Personal care items. Clothes and shoes are upstairs.
