So ironically, I was going to need some paint here soon, but I didn't stop by Bob's paint land for paint today. My wife and I welcome the baby and she's been craving some food and the food Cartwr a little bit hard to get to because of how much traffic is on the road and Bob's land was where I pulled into to get my bearings. ----- I never park anywhere without asking, so I go into Bob's paint land and I explain to them what's going on and asked if I can park there for about 15 minutes max to go to this food cart and take food back to my wife. One guy employee said yes, the owner on the Phone or Manager looked at me shaking his head no so I stopped and I was waiting to see what he wanted, he then Told me that employees are running in and out, so no, so I took that as snow and I went on about my business, then I looked back and saw that there were some free parking in front so then I double back and asked again, he ignored me, but a female employee who was very nice.. told me yes. ---- Turned out I was at the wrong location anyway for the food cart, but this is why being nice and having a good demeanor would be good for the company, you've lost a potential customer just by the lack of compassion for a dad trying to run and get food for a wife. Now granted, I understand and I don't know what the prices are, if it's fair, etc., and if they have cheap price is great, but I want to support people who are humanitarian and care about other people in the world. I took some Sherman Williams paint to Sherman Williams and they told me they couldn't color match it without me "bringing in a piece of the wall." I brought the same paint to Bob's and had a pretty dang good match within an hour. The staff was fully transparent about the limitations and gave me some helpful tips. I went to Bob's Paint Land this morning to get the color of my car matched....I had scraped the back panel the night before on the corner of my garage. The gentleman came out to look to look at it, went inside & grabbed a cloth & spray bottle with solution in it...he spent the next 5 min or so rubbing the paint off my car...turned out I didn't scratch the paint on my car I just had paint from the garage on it, thank goodness!! He didn't charge me anything...he saved me a lot of money if I had taken it to an auto paint garage! I went into Bob's Paint Land because it was close to me, locally owned, my parents used them year ago & great customer service! 100% buying paint from them again...hopefully for a room not a scratch on my car! read more

Best service ever! My 16 year old son has a bmw that door need to be painted. The you guy at the counter asked all the right questions. He threw out a few options and gave good advice on what he thought was best. Most places just pull up the paint code , mix it and give it to you. This young man took is time and made sure that regardless of what the code said, it match the original paint that's been on there for several years. He went out to the car 4-5 times after mixing it to get as close as he could. My son sprayed the car and it was an exact match! I'm sold. I will be going to this place from this point on. I also will recommend any of my family and friends for Bobs. I will not send my enemies here because they do not deserve this kind of royalty! I'll try to get the young mans name later. I gave them the paint code color for my car, they mixed the paint and gave it to me, great. I paint and notice the color is not even close, like 400 shades off. I bring it back with a sample and they say oh yeah it's really bad, you should have brought a sample in before we mixed: true, that would help to account for light fading and what not, not a whole different color! They messed up, plain and simple. So they nicely tried to match the paint to what it's supposed to be. I take it back and paint again and it's still terrible! The only difference bringing a sample in ahead of time would have done is made them realize after mixing, "oh shit, this is wrong let's try to correct it" and I would have still walked out with the wrong color. The guys here just don't have any clue what the hell they are doing. I've painted a bunch of cars and rarely brought samples and have never seen a color so far off. Safe yourself some trouble and skip this headache. read more

I came in on a Saturday afternoon and there were 4 guys "working" but they were all drooling over this muscle car that was there. I needed a paint roller and I waited at the counter for 5 minutes but no one wanted to help me. I've purchased things here before but I won't be back. It would've taken them 1 minute to ring me up but the fact that they couldn't care less about helping me really shows what kind of customer service they're providing. so as I promised I returned to bobs paint land today to possibly refund those two cans of g10 paint that was not right and today was forced to be a very sad day , I was belittled by two of Bob paint lands employees. One of them was the manager I was disrespected I was told I was wrong that's the customer service. I received back from bobs paint land after being sold shit for paint and overcharged. I work in the automotive industry and I have for pretty much my whole employment life. I'm in automotive parts store manager, so Bob paint Landsman don't tell me I don't know what I'm talking about. I am going to give each and every person I talk to you they come through my store. The bobs paint land review, so this just isn't going on yelp. I'm going to word of mouth every single customer I know, Not to mention, never refer anyone there again, and I will never return there again their management team is a joke if that's what the owner wants to allow I think maybe he doesn't realize my standings in the automotive industry and how this is actually going to affect his pocket. I went into the store with my cousin and his gf looking for primer and paint for a miata, everyone employee we talked to was very informed and helpful they talked to us about what paints go good with what pearls and they were talking to all three of us not just one of us or trying to mansplain the whole thing which is a huge thing for us but all in all their customer service is top notch very knowledgeable, very helpful and and very friendly read more

I needed primer for my truck which had some light rust on the roof. I was offered advice on which primer would be the best to use. In this case a self etching primer. I was told that this is a very good primer and would even penetrate and bond with the light rust. I was charged $20 for this spray can of primer, being told that its expensive but that's because its very good for what it does. I later found out that I had been ripped off by Bobs paint Land when I found out that other stores sell the exact same primer (same brand, and part number) for $8.25. Bob's Paint land is obviously taking advantage of people. Don't get ripped off by Bob's. read more

Recently went to Bob's for auto paint in a spray can. The first time I went, they charged me 19 or so for the can. The second time, I arrived at a little before 3pm on a weekend day and the owner acted like he was dissapointed that I was there. He sighed " Ok, what can we do...we close at 3 " I offered to leave and come back and he said they could do it ( begrudgingly ). This time they charged me 27.00 for the can if paint.
