The fried chicken is mid and you just wish you'd gone to a more traditional place. Basically if you are ordering for a big group of people who can't decide if they want Indian, Mexican or Fried chicken, or you want a mix of stuff and don't want to go to 3 different places, it's a good compromise.

Other options right now are Krazi Burrito, Krazi Chick, and Krazi Kebob. There's also a new Boba place too. It looks like there used to be a coffee shop and a salad place, or something like that, so just be aware that the kitchen space may change up. We ordered 2 Kati Rolls (paneer and lamb kofta) from Krazi Kebob. We did Chappli Kabob, a Kabob Roll, and the Lamb Chop platter from The Kabob Joint. And we did the Thai tea and Chai tea from the boba shop. For the Kabob Joint: The Kabob roll was a real winner and the Chappli Kabob in the spicy green sauce was super. I wish the edges would have been a little crispier, but very good. We haven't had the Lamb Chop yet but there's a ton of food in their platters. For the Krazi Kabob, the paneer roll wasn't super spicy but was very tasty and I'd definitely get it again. The lamb was good too but I preferred the paneer. Highly recommend ordering in advance or with delivery; there isn't anywhere to sit and eat of course, and everything is made to order, so expect about a 20 minute wait if you walk in and order from the kiosk inside. Overall, great food and a cool business model for the area. In addition to the above, I'd probably get the Masala Fries next time and would consider the samosa chaat as a deconstructed samosa bowl.

It's a huge spot with a number of tasty global eats, including Thai, Brazilian, West African, and Mexican of course! ;) Residents of 8200 Dixon get 10% off every meal since it's directly connected to the building. There's pool tables, several TVs, foosball tables, checkers, chess and just about anything gaming related spread throughout for fun. Oftentimes on the weekends, there's a DJ spinning and local vendors doing pop ups. Big games (NFC championship, March Madness, NBA finals) get a lot of activity here, so it's best to arrive early to nab a prime "bar seat". While it's lacking in "full arcade" games like D&B, it's way cleaner and a better "grown up" option than the former. Meals run from $9-18 on average which won't break the bank. People often come here to WFH since it's generally quiet during the work day. I wish they'd add a coffee spot (sorry local biz, but Starbucks would make a KILLING HERE, I'd personally spend $100 easy lmaoo) but overall no complaints!

We tried almost each restaurant and were pleasantly surprised by all. We started out with juices from Passport juices, owned by 4 Black men and who made us feel so welcomed into the space. They were all so friendly and informative! Their juices are amazing! So refreshing and we ended up ordering twice lol I got some Thai food (sweet potato noodle Korean stir-fry) that looked beautiful with a large portion. The flavor lacked depth but was still worth it My absolute FAV?! The street corn fire grilled PIZZA!! I even customized it and added Birria meat and it was amazing!! We tried the African inspired ice cream for dessert and the flavors were so unique!! A little on the pricey side but with the ingredients, it's understandable!! Each person was so friendly and attentive! So much space to choose seating and they have multiple options! Games to play and TV's to watch. They also have a HUGE bar and we heard about their happy hour specials. They do have a Mocktail list as well! Highly recommend!

The bowl was a bit smaller than what you might get from Roti, but the quality seemed higher. The only weak spot was the rice, which was bland. The sandwich was also very good. Each was a decent size for one meal without leftovers. Yasmine has adjusted their menu a few times over the years. For example, they used to have platters for two, and they didn't use to have bowls. They still seem to be figuring out their model to appeal to both casual diners at Union Market and those that sit at the bar. The menu doesn't mention happy hour anymore, but I asked the staff and they do have it, with $5 drafts and $8 wines but no discount on food. Not sure what times or days of week (sorry).

I came by for a quick bite on Friday evening, and the Market was packed. We managed to snag a seat at the long table next to Yasmine and split their Friday special, the falafel wrap. The wrap was packed with flavor -- it was a bit zingy, a bit spicy, and a bit herby. They had a delightful sauce, but the falafel itself had plenty of seasoning on its own as well. The falafel was perfectly fried, with a nice crispy shell, and it went wonderfully with the fresh, crunchy cucumbers, pickles, and cherry tomatoes. My dining partner also tried their chicken shawarma wrap, which was also fantastic but slightly more lacking in flavor vs. the falafel wrap. It didn't have the same sauce that the falafel version had, which made it a smidge less exciting and a tad more dry. All in all, Yasmine is a great addition to my Union Market rotation! It has a great lively energy and solid food; I can't wait to come back soon!
