When I called back after I made the decision to go with him, I was surprised he had all my info handy and remembered me. I made an appointment for 2 days later and my windshield was waiting for me. This is the second time I had something done for my car and I couldn't be more pleased with the work they've done for me. This time I got a brick through my window by a thief who ended up leaving the brick in my car. I called them on Monday morning asking how long would it take for them to get the part for my MB CLA45 AMG. They said they have them ready and if I drop off my car, they'd be able to do it same day. I dropped it off at 830 and they called me saying it was ready for pick up by 11. When I picked up my car, they had vacuumed the entire inside, as well as threw away the brick that was sitting in my back seat. Highly recommend! read more

Highly recommended. After my car was broken into (thankfully nothing was taken; I think my alarm scared them or something), I needed to replace my right passenger window. My unhelpful insurance company recommended Safelite with a quote of $378 and a location that was 45 minutes away. No thanks. I called up Bob's around 8:30 and they said they would order the glass and have it in by 9:30. Awesome. I got in just after 9:30 and was out by 10:30. They even vacuumed the glass inside of my car and on the seat. The people were friendly and the waiting area comfortable; before I knew it, my car was ready. The price? $190 so half of what Safelite told me. If you need any glassworks done on your car, I definitely recommend Bob's. The prices are super fair and you don't have to wait a painfully long time either. I hopefully don't need to come here in the future but if I have any more glass issues with my car, I'll be back. read more

My van was broken into or I should just say that my window was smashed because there was nothing to steal. And they chose to smash the big window on the cargo door rather than a smaller window up front. I'm thinking this is going to cost $300 at least. After recommendations from a couple friends in the area and the countless positive Yelp reviews I call up Bob's. Explained the situation, gave the make and model, was told it'll be $200 and I could drop my van off in an hour or so. Which I did. The ordering of the glass and installation took approximately 2 hours. Nice and smooth! They did an excellent job while being very customer friendly! I now know why this spot comes highly recommended! Hopefully I won't be in need of any window replacement services anytime in the near future. If so, I know right where to go! read more

Chop-shop. Hack-job. If you want your vehicle violated, go to Bob's. The guys in the shop are nice enough, but their work is shoddy. I got a crack in my windshield and saw Bob's received good reviews. I figured this would be a relatively easy replacement since this is their specialty, but I was mistaken. Over the course of two days, I had them try three times to get it right. The first time was unbelievably sloppy - gaps and glue everywhere. The second time was better, but it was still a butcher job. They weren't even installing all the right parts, and they admitted it to me. The third time seemed cleaner, but they installed a cheaper grade glass that created massive visual distortion of the road. About 30% of the driver view was bent in weird ways because of low-grade glass, meaning only 70% of the view was clear. That's dangerous. I decided to ditch Bob's and go to the dealer to fix their beastly work. After the dealer finished the install, they said Bob's had broken a number of parts around the windshield they installed, covered up the broken elements with large amounts of glue, and didn't properly seal the bottom of the windshield leaving the vehicle open to leaks in the cabin during rain. Jeez. The dealer was way more expensive, partially because they replaced all of the parts Bob's broke, but at least they fixed it properly and got the car back to near factory condition. If you don't care about your repair, and just want a cheap fix, try Bob's. If you do care, don't go there. read more

My sister bought me a replacement CD player which had been previously stolen when my car was broken into, so it was time to bite the bullet and get it fixed. One call to Bob's in the afternoon on Tuesday and I had an 8 am appointment the next day. I show up, have a seat, and a short while later, the window was fixed. I paid, and left. This is what repairs should be like! The price was good, the guys super friendly, I didn't waste any time, they did a good job. In, out, back on the road feeling pretty good, even though my visit was prompted by my car being broken into. No hassle, no fuss, good business. They helped me figure out what would be the best way without making the mirror weaker and explained a straight cut vs. more complex corner cut. Skillfully cut all of them. I am very happy and impressed with Bob's service and professionalism. Driving around these North Jersey highways, another projectile hit my windshield and cracked it. After calling Bob's and ensuring the windshield for my car was in stock, we took the car in for windshield replacement. We were in and out in less than 45 minutes. During our wait, we observed that the technicians seemed to be experts at their jobs, really caring about the quality of their work, as they all inspect the glasswork carefully. They even noticed that the molding around our car was cracked and offered to install new ones at no charge if we brought them the molding. However, after reaching home realized that the door (with the broken window) is not getting locked from the key-less. Short and sweet: After a bum in Newark broke my windshield after refusal to even acknowledge the ambush in the drive-thru (pound with fist,) I eventually was able to come here. 2003 GMC Envoy XL. Never had any glass changed.. 100% original. In and out in about 2 hours; Price was VERY fair.. AMAZING friendliness and hospitality, and the truck was not damaged in ANY way. I had my windshield replaced in under two hours for half the price Safelight quoted me for (not to mention they had no availability until the following week). Bring cash and it's about a 15-20 minute drive from Hoboken. They got all my windshield stickers off and placed them back on my new glass perfectly. A certain dude named Craig from Bob's auto glass in Communipaw Avenue, Jersey City, NJ told me by phone last Monday June 29, 2020 that I can come in and have my windshield repaired July 3rd Friday as long as I come in before 12 noon. I came in at 10 AM only to find out their business is closed for the holiday. I drove a long way from PA just to waste my time hoping to have my windshield fixed by this supposedly high rating business. Sad that a you can no longer trust a man's word these days.
