I do enjoy a taco burger.....the new Bobs location recently opened at 528 and venada plaza drive Drive thru only and it was crazy packed with cars We went up to the southern location instead Taco burger was fine but the fries could have cooked much longer Meh meal at best Sorry Bobs, raw fries aint good eats read more

Just had a Bob's Burgers chili dog with cheese. Just okay but when I come back I will order the special of the day which the price more aligns with the quality of the food. Have yet to try the burgers so I will have to update later. It wasn't a negative experience so I'll probably be back. Just for reference, the dog was better in my opinion than Sonic's coney. read more

I just recently moved to NM and prior had been vising weeks at a time over the past 2 years. I've heard of Bob's and driven passed it all the time since it's right down the street from my girlfriend. We were lazy and decided to get takeout on a Saturday night and hit up the drive thru. Unfortunately it does look closed in the evening because of the lighting of the signage and the parking lot. I've heard people talk about the taco Burger and the sign says home of the Ranchero and I got both. Let me start my saying I expected the tacos to be ground beef with a burger seasoning or something like that, but it's a taco with a burger patty. My Ranchero burger was really plain, bland, and the bun was way too soft. The chilli cheese fries were also average. Overall my food was fine, nothing was bad, but it felt like there was so flavor or seasoning. I was really underwhelmed and was expecting to be wow'd for some reason. Service was great with no issues with the drive thru. I can now say I tried Bob's... But just know the taco Burger is a burger patty in a taco shell, not a burger flavored taco. read more

Bob's Burgers is my go to; the combo e is delicious, so is the ranchero burger. The portions are good sized. Excellent customer service, I didn't eat inside, but when I do it's always clean, well lit and good music is playing. I didn't take a picture of the chili cheese fries this time, but they are amazing. read more

Hate to give poor reviews but this place needs to wake up and maybe this will help. Workers are lazy as hell here. They will ignore you and go about their business. There were three behind the counter and only one finally asked if I needed help. Ordered a small frito pie. It was prepared quickly, that is a plus. Not anything special at all. Chili is like what I would expect on a chili dog. I had hoped for better, but the chili does have a kick to it. Chopped onions, tomatoes, and lettuce. On the soda machine there is a sign that says refills $.75. Really, they pay $.10 for drinks from the soda machine and charge the customer over $2.30 for a drink. They already made their money back. Is this the same at all Bob's where you are asked to pay &.75 for a refill? I'd like to know or is this location doing their own thing. Lot of people at work say go to bob's. Maybe they mean in Albuquerque because the Rio Rancho one is not one that stands out. I do think they keep the place clean L. It is good they have music playing 80's and 90's . While the service is not great here the food was okay. read more

I would give a negative 10 stars if I could. The manager Christopher has no people skills and no business being a manager. I ordered a chile dog with no onions or cheese. It came laden with onions. I am allergic to onions. Absolutely unacceptable. I do not recommend ever coming to this location. Stay away. Excuse after excuse. You have to come back for a refund. Why would I drive all the way back there when they already have my money. I have an order number they can pull up. I shouldn't have to be inconvenienced because of their negligence. No apologies no nothing. Stay far away! read more

Fries are crispy and great! Dirty bathroom, sticky tables, out of ketchup, very loud music, rude order taker, condiment station in disarray, only one napkin dispenser in whole restaurant. The burger patty has a strange texture. There's no way it's 100% beef. read more

Do NOT go to this burger place unless you just want to waste your money! I got a small patty burger (and I use that term loosely), that was so dried out and spongey, I could literally fold it in half 3 times and it still didn't break. When I called the store there was no apology, no offer to help make it right. I was told if I wanted to bring it back up there, I could. RIDICULOUS! Bye, bye Bob's. Zero stars read more

During my visit to Albuquerque, I had to stop by Bob's for the famous Taco Burger that everyone raves about. Bob's is a Mexican fast food chain. They serve breakfast, lunch, and dinner. During my visit, I came here twice. I ordered 2 taco burgers, onion rings, frito pie, and the apple bites. The taco burger was pretty good. It's a burger inside of a hard taco shell, with cheese, green chile, and lettuce. It was good. The burger pattie could have been bigger, it was pretty thin. Not enough meat and a whole lotta shell. The Chile sauce was a great touch to the taco burger. Without it, it would be pretty dry. The frito pie is not my thing. It's pretty much chilli and cheese on top of Frito Lays chips. It is not something I would try again. It's a weird combination. The onion rings were overcooked and dry. The apple bites were pretty good. It's like little miniature apple pies with cinnamon and sugar on top. I also stopped by for breakfast the next day and tried the breakfast burrito. It is made up of hash browns, eggs, cheese, and sausage or bacon wrapped in a tortilla. I was not too fond of the breakfast burrito. Not something I would try again. Overall, it is fast food on the go and inexpensive. Nothing to write home about. It's great for kids. My daughter loved it. read more

Love Bob's and this location! Always get what I ordered. Bummed that their chips is a seasonal item because they are so good!

Food is ok when they get your order right. The burger patties are very small, smaller than McDonalds. They hold the red chili on everything and add so much cheese it's diperportioned. If you placing an order to go, tell them is for dinning in. Then check the order then ask for a to go bag. They will never get it right if your ordering more than 1 item. If u are happy with a lot of bread and cheese it's the place for you. Everything else is very inconsistent. read more

Have always loved getting taco burgers from Bob's Burger. I got my first taco burgers from this place back in high school and they were delicious, but not this time. It taste so stale and no enough chile sauce or cheese on it. It was so POORLY MADE. ALSO, there was a girl there that didn't greet us and was not friendly at all when I said hi. She literally rolled her eyes at me. So disappointed with the service from here. The one on San Mateo near Furr's will forever be my new go to place. read more

Worst customer service ever!!! After sitting in the drive through lane for nearly 30 minutes I finally got my food. When I advised the girl that something in my order was missing she told me I had to get back in line, that they close in 5 minutes (meaning I wouldn't make it back to the window on time) and then she slammed the window on my face. She was rude the last time I was there too but today was extra. I'm surprised she's still working there, this is who bobs burgers has representing their company. What a shame! read more

In town visiting my parents. We went there and i had the Ranchero Burger it was good. I had christmas chile on it and it was pretty spicy but not too spicy. My dad thinks the owner is a smart business man because he cuts the hamburgers in half and puts it into a taco shell. Genius 4 Stars. read more

My kids want no other burger in Rio Rancho. "Best green chili burger ever" says the 15 year old who inhales everything. I'm a fan of their regular burger, great portion size, fresh toppings and the fries are just the right amount of crispy. Fast and friendly drive thru service too. read more

As much as I love locally owned burger joints, Bob's left a lot to be desired tonight. The menu is quite similar to what you'll find at Blake's Lotaburger but that's where the similarity ends. I ordered the Ranchero Burger which comes with their specialty green chile sauce on it. The sauce has a good flavor and won't be too hot for you if you're accustomed to New Mexican food. I was sorely disappointed when I looked at the burger, though - my slice of tomato was thicker than the meat patty itself. There wasn't any overwhelming flavor to the burger other than the tomato slice and the chile sauce. If you're thinking Bob's, do yourself a favor and go to Blake's. read more

I haven't ever been inside of this place, so my review is solely based on the drive-thru. I ordered two breakfast burritos and some hash browns because I have a potato addiction. The wait was moderate, a little longer than your chain place, but not so bad as other local chains nearby (looking at you Little Anita's). My sister and I both enjoyed our burritos, but we did get the wrong type. I didn't notice until I got to my parent's house that it was incorrect, but they were still good. I had ordered two green chili bacon burritos and got sausage. The hash browns were great! I got chili on the side for them because the first time I came here, it was too hot! This time it was more mild and easier to eat. I'll come back again for a burrito, but check my order at the window. read more

Bob's is a MUST when visiting the Albuquerque area. It's not fancy, it's just good food. For me, the taco burger is my favorite. I have tried several things on the menu, but the taco burger is my go to! The jewel of Bob's is the green chili! It's not just chopped chili, it's more of a thick green chili gravy...I could eat a bowl of it on its own! They have different specials every day too. They are open for breakfast as well! Be sure to give Bob's Burgers a try if you haven't already! I prefer this location over most of the others! Enjoy! read more

I have been patronizing this location since it opened...yesterday was the worst meal ever purchased...order was wrong and several items were undercooked....called the store as we had to throw out part of it on the road...was told "oh bring what u didn't eat and i'll reimburse u"... I said that was poor costumer service and i'll take my business elsewhere...she said she'd have the manager call me...that never happened....I guess i'll be patronizing someplace else.... read more

Tried their breakfast burrito, bacon, for the first time. Mostly potatoes that were bland. Bacon was good and gave the burrito some flavor. I had to add plenty of salt to enhance the flavor profile. I went to this restaurant today looking for a awesome burger. it was my first time here. The burger was good but not great. The bun looked like it was really old. I would really like to give the customer service a 0 star. Their online hours say they are open from 7:30-9pm, but every time we call in the morning for a breakfast burrito at 8:30, they say they don't open till 9. This has happened twice, but now we called at 9 and apparently they don't open till 9:30. You can not decide when to open on your own time, it's extremely rude and lazy. So disappointed! Long story short, call after 10 am for a burrito. read more

This is definitely a good local favorite. The menu has a good variety of items from their well-known taco burgers with green or red Chile, taquito boats( beef or chicken-I'd recommend the former), to cheese fries and cheeseburgers. We usually enjoy their taco burgers, which come with meat, cheese, chili, and lettuce. They can be ordered customized as you wish. For those less accustomed to Chile, theirs can be unpredictable at times and can be VERY spicy. If you are not too familiar with Chile or are not too adventurous, I'd recommend getting it on the side. On taco Tuesday, one of their busiest days, in my opinion, the line can be ridiculously long, but the food is usually worth the wait. I do wish they would improve that part of the order experience and also update the inside of the restaurant. It does look a bit dated for the times. Otherwise, a good place to get a NM favorite. read more

One of the many horrible restaurants NM has to offer with the green and red chili +$@¥. The patties were thin, they charged for cheese AND refills were .50 plus tax. Horrible, horrible, horrible. Gonna have to go home and lick my dogs butt to get the taste out of mouth. read more

This place has gotten worse and worse! Wife went to the drive-through and bought $45 worth of a few taco burgers, two burgers and chili cheese fries. Very expensive for what you get. To make it worse she gets all the way home opens up the bags and we're missing a bacon burger, an order of taquitos, a side of green chili and salsa so we call back in to let Bob's know. The manager gets on the phone and proceeds to argue with me. After we finally get across what we were missing she tells me to make up for the inconvenience of having to go all the way back she will just give us a full dozen order of taquitos. Still not worth it as we didn't need them, but fine at least you tried. My wife goes all the way back and when she gets there the lady argues with her and didn't give her the extra taquitos like she offered to and tells my wife there now you have everything you ordered. In a time when local businesses need all the help they can get they should be treating the people that are still willing to spend money at their local shops much better then they are especially when Bobs employees are the ones that made the mistake. Truly sad times! read more

Very good tonight!

Had the Ranchero Burger. Pretty average burger. The patty was thin and dry. Lettuce was shredded and falling all over the place. Bread was pretty decent though. The only redeeming thing about this burger was the green chile added to make it spicy and HOT. French fries were decent. Bob's actually only serves 2 kinds of burgers. The ranchero, and the original. The rest of the stuff on their menu consisted of things like hot dogs, nachos, and various forms of mexican food. Although I wasn't impressed with their burger, I would like to go back and sample the other things on their menu. If I do, I will be sure to update this review with the good OR bad news! read more

We used to love Bob's! Now, not even close. I waited about 10 minutes at the drive-thru for our order and when we got home was very disappointed with the razor thin burger patties and the lack of green chile on the taco burgers. Used the drive through and everything we ordered was wrong. So frustrating. I wont be going back to this location.

I'm going to start off by saying that I cannot eat fast food, I have a very sensitive stomach and the poor quality of the food always makes me sick. That being said when my cousin and I drove past we figured we had to stop, seeing as how we're both fans of the show Bob's burgers. Now going into it we knew they wouldn't be the same, however I was just hoping that it wasn't as fast of food as it looked. But two bites in proved me wrong, I could feel myself getting sick. And that made for an uncomfortable half an hour ride back to her house. I ended up taking the almost whole burger back to her brother because he's a teen boy that will eat just about anything. But I would definitely never go back, I feel like they're just as bad as McDonald's or any other fast food place out there. TLDR: If you're like me and don't and or can't eat fast food, don't go here. Really I would tell everyone not to go here, but I know that some people enjoy fast food. read more

I like the daily specials like, the Frito Pie & Chile Dogs. The Ranchero Burger is really spicy, and I like that! I just wish the place was cleaner and the staff didn't act so aloof. Ok so I normally don't like to eat here but the guy likes it. Food is ok nothing to write home about. So we both had burgers, fries and a drink but the honey got 99¢ chips and salsa because he's addicted to chips and salsa. For 99¢ it's a pretty good deal. So we get our food and he gets his "chips" and salsa. Ok first of all when I see chips I think tortilla chips. Well I guess I was wrong because when he got his "chips" and salsa he got broken taco shells. I looked at them and was like your kidding right? Nope no joke they really are broken taco shells. I laughed a bit and said well I guess same thing right yeah not so much. But the food nor the service were the issue here because the service was good and fast. My issue was an older couple who cane in with their I'm guessing three grandkids. We had decided to sit inside as it was hot outside so we sat at a booth and waited for our food. As we sat there the husband was ordering food and the wife and children sat down, then the tantrums happened. I don't know the reason why buy the kid started to scream and cry and yell at what I'm assuming was him grandma. She starts to say you don't want to be good and go to the movie and eat chocolate which makes the kid crazier. So they moved to a booth that was a bit further from us. Normally I have no problem hearing kids I can usually tune them out but the dining area was pretty empty and sound echo's in the tall ceilings and tile floors. So we got our food and decided to move outside because the kid was getting louder and louder and it was in my opinion rude to the few guests that were there. As we walked out the lady glares at us and was like oh really and giving dirty looks. Normally I'm non-confrontational but as I walked out I said yes really and as we sat outside she continued to glare at us. I'm sorry but its rude to allow a child to cause such a disturbance and affect other guests. So my problem isn't with the food or service it was the expierence I had. Because the food is good and the dining area is clean. Which means we will probably be back soon read more

We have been eating at this Bob's Burger in Rio Rancho since it opened a few years ago. We usually get the Green Chile Hamburger, Fries, Soda or Shake. We have always had good service and good food.
