He saved as much hair as he could; he didn't get 'razor happy' which I greatly appreciated. Furthermore, he took the time to shape up my edges and he charged me about $20. In November 2016, I came back with medium-length natural hair to get my ends trimmed, and she did an excellent job. Again, she wasn't 'scissor happy'; she took off exactly what needed to come off. She even told me that my ends weren't that bad, but I might have been shedding to the dye in my hair. She twisted my hair as she trimmed it allowing me to leave the salon with full body. She charged me $18, which wasn't bad. Whenever I need something else, I'll return to this salon to see if they can work more magic.

So the only language barrier I can think of is YOU not knowing what THEY are saying. Mind your business or learn the language! LOL

The lady was very sweet, and I really enjoyed talking with her. She speaks English, and she has a lot of experience as a hairstylist. The service was okay overall. However, she used old scissors that needed to be sharpened, and because of that, the way she cut my hair sometimes looked a little awkward, which made me feel nervous. Fortunately, the final result was okay. It cost me over $80 including the tip, which felt a little expensive to me. That said, I really liked the lady and her energetic personality.
