If I could go lower than one star I would. I own two businesses and paid these guys to come out and put a sign up to have Bob's Towing be the company the gets to grab them when someone violates the parking rules. I know how to sign forms and read an agreement, I assure those of you reading I definitely, do have rights to the spot and to have something towed, it was cleared months ago and I have had cars towed before. So this week I have one towed, an hour later the driver and the manager Derrick come in accusing me of illegally initiating a tow. I tried to be nice to start, however right off the bat the MANAGER says who do you think you are calling us for a tow your not authorized to do? You lied about who you are and have no authorization to tow a car. I told him that I Identified myself as myself and business name(as is reflected on the signature I had to give them to take the car that morning). Then I pulled out the contract from them we signed months ago, with there big logo on top and said, "well that's my name on the agreement that authorizes me to tow cars, from from this spot, it has my name and signature". I kid you not the MANAGER says, that's not a contract or an agreement. So I look at the big bold print on top where it says "Impound Authorization" and the fact it is signed by me and a representative of their company, and it has my License # on it, but Derrick looks at me again and says well that is not an agreement we don't make agreements. He then threatens to call the police and report me for calling in a tow when I'm not authorized, now may I remind you I have customers in my store listening to this guy. I have to ask the customers to leave the store and I take them(Bobs Staff) out back show them the signs again, ignore their threats and told them they needed to get off my property, it is illegal to threaten to file a false police report and I would be reporting them to the Owner of their store and AAA. After talking with Another tow company rumor is they keep messing up little procedures like taking a picture of car before towing and when they mess up they threaten and accuse the person they are in contract with of wrong doing to cover their own butts. AAA need to drop this business, and I intend to see serious consequences for this "MANAGER" Derrick that came into my store. For two winters, now, Bob's has saved me. The first year I was towed in off of I-5, on a Saturday. I didn't know any mechanics in Corvallis but went to the AAA shop which about the only place open. And the only place that would work on my Geo Metro. It took a while, but the mechanic finally found an obscure fuse that had blown. Not particularly cheap price, but it was fixed. I was able to get on the road and home. This winter I was in Corvallis and car refused to start one morning. Really nice tow truck guy came in 10 minutes, hooked me up and helped hoist my fat butt up into the truck cab. Battery and alternator had crapped out, but the mechanic also found I had an oil leak due to a totally plugged PCV valve, which none of my other regular guys had changed. This is a down home place, but I feel I get competent and friendly service, here. This is a total relief for a woman who drives alone a lot, to different cities. read more

I was towed by Jason - what an incredible guy! I just moved to town and my car has been giving me trouble for a while. I had just towed it earlier in the week to an auto center that said it was fine. Low and behold, my car broke down again shortly after. Jason came to pick me up in Corvallis and towed me and my car to a new shop in Albany. He was great company and fun to chat with. When we got to Albany he realized my plan was to Uber back to Corvallis (since I'm new to town I didn't have anyone to pick me up). He was so accommodating and offered me to ride back to Corvallis with him. Saved me a $35 Uber ride and again was great company. He made my crappy day not so bad. I cannot say enough good things about Bob's Auto & Towing!! I used their towing service when my car became unresponsive after my day's errands..I called my insurance emergency response service & they had a 3-4 hour wait to get anyone out to help me..in 90+ degree heat! A local service recommended Bob's Towing & they were out within 10 minutes of being called! Talk about super quick service! The driver was really knowledgeable about what he was doing, and didn't clank my car around as others had in past..He loaded my car up, we were on our way & got to service destination in record time!! Bunch of crooks. Holy Cow! Do not call these guys for any reason, they will rip you off! My Saturn broke down, one mile from my house. I made the mistake of calling them (had AAA years ago and they were helpful....once). I was quoted a price on the phone, then the driver said it was wrong, weekend fee, dolly fee (on my front wheel drive that died on the road with nothing else wrong?) mileage, dispatching fee, etc etc. It went from approx. $80 to over $175 without even touching my car! HELL NO. Then, he had the absolute nerve to tell me he was going to charge me for showing up and trying to extort over double the amount I was quoted. Bye, I'm calling someone else! My wife and I were taking our grandsons to the ocean when our vintage 22 foot motor home began leaking oil very badly. We needed to get it to Silverton, where we could it fixed. AAA sent Bob's Towing, and I could not be more pleased with the service we received from Eric. He put our motor home on the flatbed and took us (2 adults, 2 children and our 50 lb. dog!) back to Silverton. He was professional in every way and wonderful with the grand kids. Thank you so much for your quick, accurate, professional service! I brought my volvo in for new battery cables and my car almost made it to the shop, but had to be towed the last few blocks. I was late to my appointmemt and had two hours until I had to be into work. I was nervous about my car and the cost of the repairs and also about how I would get to work. I ended up stepping out of my car and shutting the door before I realized my keys were on the passenger seat. Called AAA and ended up getting helped by Jason from Bobs Towing. Jason showed up within 15 minutes, which was way under the time estimated by AAA, he was kind and was able to remedy the situation in a matter of minutes. I recently got a flat tire, and the technician Jason responded promptly to help me out. He was very knowledgeable, and helped calm me down as my tire had completely blown up on the freeway at night and sparks were flying too- I was wound up. He was very helpful in changing my tire and I could tell he genuinely wanted to help -he even gave me some good recommendations on how to proceed with options for new tires and where I needed them for my particular vehicle. A great worker named Nick checked my battery and alternator, found that it was the alternator, and towed my car to their shop overnight and on to the repair shop in the morning.
