Example 2: If you own a 7-11, and someone jumps the curb while they're parking at 3 AM and takes out your big plate glass window, you need someone to come and put up a very sturdy plywood wall NOW until that window can be replaced. You need that person to do a great job on that temporary wall, and you need it fast. It's definitely not going to be cheap to get that done at 3 AM. Example 3: You have a 1973 BMW 2002 that needs a restoration. There's an old guy who is an expert on the 2002, and he doesn't charge much. But, he just does this as a hobby now in his retirement - you have to leave the car with him, and he works on it when he feels like it. He'll probably have the car there for 3 or 4 years. You got great and cheap, but, it is sure isn't gonna happen fast. That's why "pick two" is part of the old adage. Because it's pretty much true in life. You just can't get all three things, you know?
