Talk about a scamster. Had pc of equipment reserved for the weekend. At pickup, had to wait over an…read morehour for them to repair item before it was even usable. I used equipment for about 30 minutes on Saturday. When trying to start engine on Sunday, starter rope broke...TWICE. Rope was frayed in several different spots. Was not able to finish what I had intended. Returned Monday on time and informed owner that I wasn't able to finish job because starter rope broke and asked what he was willing to do? His response? He's not going to anything. In his mind it's my fault and I'm SOL because I should have called them. What was the point of calling them when I already knew they were closed after 12pm on Sundays? I informed him I only needed it for a few more hours after it was fixed, but nope, everything my fault. Nothing but excuses out of his mouth. Told me to get the hell out of his business. Talk about rude and poor customer service. This is the third time I've had problems with his equipment and his response is always the same. In his mind he is always right and the customer is always wrong.

I've rented several pieces of equipment from them over the years and the good part is they usually…read morerun well. I've typically worked with the owner and he's definitely reasonable, no prior problems up until today. I returned a stump grinder after a 24hr rental. On time and I had cleaned it that morning to what I thought was more than reasonable. I get there and the kid comes in and says it is "NOT SUPERCLEAN" and the older guy asks what he should charge, $20 the kid replies. It is 23 degrees, he will park it inside and in an hour blow off the remaining DUST with an air hose. The lazy kid also didn't adjust the hitch height on the trailer so it was very tongue heavy, my fault I'm sure. I unhooked the trailer where I'd parked and kid said I had to move it back to where I got it, back on the fence. I said you are going to have to work for your $20. He said don't come back. I'll be going to Becke's in BC the future where I've had good experience. Get rid of the lazy kid. Expect to get a clean up fee if the kid has to lift a finger.
