impressed with many aspects of the property. The hotel is in a great location, about an 8-9 minute walk from the heart of Broadway. The rooftop and pool area were stunning, offering a relaxing atmosphere with beautiful views. We particularly enjoyed the happy hour cocktails--they were a highlight of the stay. The room itself was spacious, comfortable, and well-designed, which we appreciated. However, one major downside significantly affected our experience. During our entire stay, housekeeping never maintained our room. Towels were never replaced, garbage piled up, and our beds were left unmade. On one occasion, housekeeping simply dropped off a few towels and took the dirty ones, but no other cleaning or upkeep was done. Considering we paid nearly $2,000 for three nights, the lack of basic housekeeping was quite disappointing. I expected more in terms of service for the price we paid. read more

The ice-skating is what gives at three stars it is only $10 but the synthetic ice is literally like roller blading concrete material and you literally can't skate on it. So that was disappointing but I guess you get what you pay for. But other than that the rooftop had a really pretty view and I think they did a really creative job with the 1970s themed camp out for Christmas. The cocktails were OK. I will say though the parking is super expensive but then again I'm a local so maybe I'm just not into paying $25 for parking (parking lot; not valet) read more

Fun hotel with a sophisticated yet laid-back, friendly vibe. You are immediately greeted by Sasha, the hotel dog who is the sweetest! The overall feel is that the Bobby is fancy but not pretentious. It feels and looks hip but very comfortable at the same time. The interior decor is playful, masculine, modern, and vintage. The wood, leather, glass, and marble all offer such interesting details. Don't stay here if you aren't comfortable with the glass wall bathroom. It offers little in the way of privacy which could be a deal-breaker for some. The bed was super comfortable! I had probably the best night of sleep I've ever had in a hotel room. The rooftop bar is so fun! We went up right at opening which was 4pm. We got an igloo all to ourselves and ordered a few hot cocktails. It was such a perfect atmosphere in the cold and rainy weather. It was cozy and warm inside as the rain was falling on the dome above us. So cool! Later in the evening we headed down to the speakeasy style bar downstairs. It felt more "garage-style" than speakeasy, but it was comfortable and we enjoyed a few old-fashioned cocktails. If you want something fancier, I would stick to the lobby bar for drinks. read more

Very cool, trendy hotel. Different than traditional chain hotels. Valet parking is the only parking options and is $45 a night; come and go as much as you please. A couple bars, to include a bar / alcohol bar in the lobby. Very unique decor to include cool furniture and fore place in the lobby. Two rooftop bars, one side with winter igloos and the other a walk up bar, small pool and a bus that has been widened, gutted and fitted with cool seating areas. Very much one of a kind. All staff members were extremely nice and friendly. Entire property was very clean. Wide hallways and oversized rooms. We got an end or corner room which had a little more room that the others. Room decor was very cool. Shower, no bath tub. Very comfy bed, wifi. Mimi fridge, and a safe all in the room. I totally forgot to take pictures here, but I highly recommend this place. Probably more so for adults, couples, or perhaps business travel. I would not recommend for a family hotel or miss in general. read more

Our bachelorette party stayed here. There is a dog that stays at the hotel, everyone loved that. The staff in every area of the hotel was great! Front desk, bar, cafe, housekeeping, literally everyone. Overall, staff was 5 stars. Very accommodating, brought us water bottles up to the room at all hours of the night. I'll start with the amenities. The gym was pretty good, better if it had a mirror. The rooftop was cool, no one stopped us from going in the pool past 7 (which was the time they said it closed). There was a bus up there which was cool, we ate dinner in there. The fries on the roof were great, along with the food. The bar tenders, so nice! Also five stars. The drag show in the bar on the first floor were also amazing, they were so nice and friendly. The art all over the hotel is not good for kids, but great for our party. We heard this is known as a swinger hotel, and it definitely has that vibes. They should market it that way. Wish the drag brunch on Sunday was open for the summer because we would have totally went. They could be doing more on the rooftop. Would have been cool for one night the drag queens to be on the roof. The cafe on the first floor has the best chicken salad sandwich and great lattes. I will say, it is too expensive. Can't get breakfast for less than $20. The quiche was way too salty, two people in our party ordered it, and neither could eat it. We didn't tell anyone, but they probably would have given us something else because they were so nice. Now to the rooms. Worst bed I've ever slept on. The beds were so hard, every night we woke up and our backs were killing us. That was definitely the worst part about the stay. We had four queen beds, and they were all the same. The rooms were big, which was nice. But honestly, kind of humid. Never felt like it got cold it the rooms, and that might be because it was so humid. The thermostat was inaccurate in both rooms. For a room with two queens, the bathroom situation was not that comfortable. There are glass walls and then a curtain you can pull over the glass. Hardly any privacy. Otherwise, very cute, and nicely decorated. If you're going there for a nice vacay, maybe not the place to stay, but if you're going for a bachelorette party, it's great. Also, great location if you're trying to go to Broadway or restaurants near downtown area read more

All around wonderful experience at this beautiful, pet friendly hotel! We booked our trip last minute but we were fortunate enough to snag the last suite available for the weekend. We brought our two dogs and everyone was so very accommodating. Never once did we feel like we were imposing, which is very important to us since we are trying to socialize our Cane Corso puppy after a whole year+ of being quarantined. Everyone from the valet to the people at the check in desk to the housekeeper, amazing service. We will most certainly come back again. The suite was so nice and we had a view of the Nissan stadium along with some of downtown. It was beautiful! I had to take off a star because of the room service/ food from the cafe. It was just not good and I couldn't drink my coffee because of the amount of milk added when I asked for no milk (just creamer). I didn't feel like waiting on someone to correct this so I just didn't order from the cafe again. read more

A clever boutique hotel right in the middle of downtown with a great sense of design. The more I travel the more I'm in search of unique, specialty hotels that break the cookie-cutter mold of the big chains. This wonderful spot was a delight from the moment we drove up and interacted with the oh so polite valet then stepped into the impressive lobby that feels both modern and stylish and oh so welcoming at the same time. Even though we arrived really early (10 am vs 3 pm check in), Zack at the front desk got us into a great big room up on the 8th floor with a massive balcony (really more of a patio). Pros: -unique, colorful and interesting hotel with lots of great design touches and innovative furniture and fixtures -5 stars for the designer who did the furnishings and decor -our room, 814 was great with lots of room plus a huge balcony(really a full patio) -large up dated bathroom (although I would have liked a double sink maybe), with nice higher end products -several great spots for food and drink including the great rooftop bar with a 1950's era bus turned into a shaded seating area next to the tiny pool -super friendly and helpful staff -lots of places to plug in your gadgets next to the bed -dog friendly (although I didn't see any during our o 1-night stay) Opportunities (since nobody's perfect) -controls for our a/c were almost hidden in a side wall-difficult to use and set -could have used a bit brighter light for reading in bed -wasn't a fan of the small-sized bed pillows:one was way to big and firm, the other oh so soft Bottom line-a cool, stylish hotel at a reasonable price (I paid around $350) and I wouldn't hesitate to stay here again! read more

This place is a disgrace. The only great thing about this place is the amazing service from Christian at the downstairs lobby bar. Incredible staff and kind people. I am a LOCAL here in nashville, they are some of the best. Kind, chill and attentive. Now let's talk the roof top. First off, the dumb igloos. $200 minimum to sit in plastic? Sure, but is the service good? HELL NO. We sat at the bar (it was dead) and were stared down by the bartenders as if we were an inconvenience . The manager - what a hoot. I want to know WHO hurt him. The poor bartender in training was miserable. They asked us "has anyone helped you?" We kindly responded not yet, and they said "okay well you need to wait.." ummmm ok. Didn't you ask US? We ordered two old fashioned's (not the fancy one they had on the menu for $16, which is a totally normal price! And more than willing to pay for fancy syrups) but just a general Elijah Craig old fashioned (which at the lobby bar was $15, totally normal!) - the bartender really took a while with swiping my card and never gave me an itemized receipt - he just charged it. Normally fine with me, however, when I got a $48 check back, for two old fashioned's, I was shocked. When I asked about it - the manager came up to me and said "you're at a rooftop hunny" - lol this rooftop bar is literally a slab elevated concrete. It's not good. It was DEAD. First off - what manager acts like this from the beginning? Super strange aggressive guy who was so rude to customers prior. I could tell from the start it was a bad vibe. He was also aggressive with his staff. He tried to say the lobby bar must have given us a discount. I've not once in my life, after living in two major cities (la and Chicago) paid $23 for a ELIJAH CRAIG old fashioned. The manager is a scam artist, treated people like shit, and are really ruining what could be a wonderful experience. Go back to whatever hell hole you came from and do better. BOBBY HOTEL- if y'all don't do something about this, you're crazy. We've heard that many people have complained about the rooftop staff, DO BETTER FOR YOUR TOWN. People visiting: you're better off at the Fairlane or the Noelle. read more

Decor is nice but rooms are not functional. Zero bathroom privacy, not enough towels after asking multiple times, rooms have no coffee pot or microwave and mini fridge didn't cool. Only positives were it's close walking distance to the Ryman. read more

Upon check-in our room was dirty from previous guest, we asked for the room to be cleaned while we were out for dinner and a show. Upon returning, our room was still dirty. We were told we could not move rooms because they were "sold out" despite their website still allowing check-ins for the same day. Day 2 before leaving we asked again for our room to be cleaned- at this point we had slept in someone else sheets, the nightstand had a horrific vomit smell, the bathroom was dirty and the carpet had not been properly vacuumed in way too long...there was hair, hair pins, and food crumbs throughout. They assured us that we would have a clean room when we got back. When we returned we did have fresh towels and new sheets but NOTHING else was handled. Our stay at Bobby Hotel was not one I will ever have again. Our bill was over 800 for 2 nights, our room was filthy, there is no option other than the bar to buy juice, soda, water, etc. no ice or coffee unless you sit in one of their restaurants. Nashville was great but the Bobby Hotel was not so good to us, we never received an apology from the front desk, or the hotel manager. This place is severely lacking hospitality let alone southern hospitality. read more

Nashville is so fun! The trip was amazing however I would be VERY VERY hesitant to return to the Bobby Hotel. The hotel is really pretty and the ambience sets the perfect mood. Rooftop, gorgeous. The valet is very personable and most of the hotel staff provided great service. However, please be aware, housekeeping might STEAL and wear your clothing. My short stay took a turn on day 2 when my guest and I returned to our room mid day after being out all morning. We walked in on the housekeepers (2) "cleaning" which was initially of minimum concern. I immediately noticed the shirt that one of the housekeepers had on because I had just bought the same shirt that week for the trip. The other housekeeper had on the Bobby uniform that the housekeeping manager later confirmed was a requirement for all staff-- first red flag. The housekeepers had our bed pillows on the floor which was disgusting and did not change the pillow covers due to their quick escape--second red flag. I noticed that a few pieces of clothing that I had laying on the floor and counters had been moved and piled up. We did not rush the housekeepers out but they insisted they were done which was awkward as they did not seem done and one of the housekeepers stood at the door telling the other housekeeper to "hurry up, come on". We stayed in this room for 2 more nights and did not have any other housekeeping services. On the last day of the trip I was looking for a graphic tee (the one just like the one the housekeeper had on) that I had packed specifically for the travel day and could not find it. I chalked it up to maybe I forgot to pack it. Upon returning home I was not able to locate it at all which made me feel really uneasy. I called the Bobby hotel within the next week to speak with hotel management about my concern and the housekeeping manager was not responsive. I called again to speak to upper management and was connected with the head of security. I explained the situation to him and asked him to run the tapes back as I noticed the cameras in the hallway and it would show the housekeeper leaving the room with my shirt on. He LAUGHED but said that the incident was so odd he would look into it and asked me to send him a picture of the shirt so I did. He also confirmed that it was not in the lost and found. A week or so later he sent me an update saying that my shirt had been located...in a trashcan at the hotel...and brought to the lost and found... SERIOUSLY? This was a brand new shirt with the tag still on it. How did it end up in the trash can from my suitcase? With no tag? A week later? He even sent me a picture of the shirt with him smiling in it. There was no apology, there was no further investigation, follow up, or anything. Yes the shirt was a shirt but the picture is WAY bigger. This housekeeper had stolen my property and was WEARING It in the room when I walked in and it magically appeared in lost and found nearly 2 weeks later. This was super unsettling and scary because I had so many valuable possessions that he could have gotten such as my laptop as I was working on vacay, my bfs Rolex which was hidden, and other possessions worth way more than the anime shirt. It was even more appalling how the hotel handled this situation. To be laughed at, accused of misplacement, and ultimately brushed off on top of being STOLEN from was such a slap in the face. If you think I'm lying, I've attached the picture, I blurred out the picture of the head of security smiling but you can see him posing and the bobby uniform he has on. If you read this far, thanks. Hopefully they can correct this and no one else will have to experience the same.=) read more

Let me first say that this review is strictly based on the Rooftop Igloo Experience at the Bobby Hotel. I cannot speak to the rooms or length of stay whatsoever. However, I must express that this is one of the top ten things to do if you are in Nashville during the winter. Get your heavy coat and mittens because the igloo is still a bit chilly. The fake fire (space heater) does not heat the "plastic" igloo totally, but does knock the chill off. Everyone looks adorbs in their winter attire with pink cheeks as they sip their cocktails and laugh at jokes being made. The choices for food is limited to about seven dishes that can be easily eaten with your fingers since space is limited to only a small coffee table in the center. Their cocktails, beer list and wine selection makes up for it. Watching the servers bring all our items was a treat in itself. Amazingly, they were able to balance everything on trays and unzip our igloo at the same time which undoubtedly took special skills! Tips: If you go in the middle of the week, there is no minimum charge as on the weekends. For the 7pm spot, expect a $700 minimum per party. The 4:30-6:30 time slot is perfect for viewing a beautiful Nashville sunset! You can book via the apps- Resy and Open Table You really only can have up to 8 comfortably in the space (confirmed by the servers), so when it says 12 in the app, do not believe it. Our party had a total of six and we were comfortably seated. The Bobby Burger was good, but the Goat Cheese dip and Apple Cart cocktail won the prize as best of show. ** Shout out to Kaitlyn for the excellent service and easy laid-back poise of handling many igloos on a cold winter Wednesday night. read more

I haven't been treated this well by a hotel in a long time. Staying at the Bobby Hotel surpassed my experiences at hotels that cost double. Every person working there was smiling, knew how to do their jobs well and went beyond expectations to get the job done. Front desk kept in touch throughout to make sure everything was top notch (especially the resident Front Desk God, RYAN), housekeeping made sure rooms were always clean - EVERY DAY. The hotel itself is beautifully decorated and a must see even if you don't stay. If you're into design, definitely check out The Bobby. You won't be disappointed. There are interesting pieces of furniture and art everywhere. Even the light fixtures are incredible, for example I was pondering the lobby chandelier for some time because it didn't quite look right, only to find it's made of old auto body parts (think Cadillac missiles). The Bobby is a must see and must stay if you can. read more

Let me start by saying this a beautiful hotel in Nashville's art district. The rooms are spacious, the lobby is amazing, and the coffee shop open in the mornings is delicious (which is why I give it 3 stars). BUT they lost 2 stars because of the service. The hotel restaurant (Bobby Tavern) confirmed our reservation for our first night's dinner there, however, they decided to cancel it on us without notice and closed early...making zero effort to contact us or help make other accommodations for their guests since they were short staffed. When we checked in, the lady at the front desk told us they were still open and knew our reservation was for 8:30pm...but that was incorrect and very strange on their part to just close and not let us know. No worries though, Dream next door was open and more than helped accommodate us to dine in with them with no reservation...and we were happy to spend our money there instead. Bobby hotel also decided to cancel our rooftop reservation for the next night, again making no effort to try to reschedule us in a different time slot. The room service was just ok, could have done a better job cleaning and wiping down surfaces. Lack of toilet paper was frustrating. And lastly, the bell boy at the front entrance made us feel like we were intruding or violating the property whenever we came back to the hotel after walking downtown all day (kept asking us if he can help us with anything and where we were going...which was up to our room lol). He made the effort to watch us walk all the way to the elevator to make sure we had a key. Not sure if he just didn't remember that we were staying there or if there was another agenda, but he did not make us feel comfortable watching our every move as guests there. Overall, we made it through the weekend. I wish I could recommend this spot to family and friends but probably will not. read more

My wife and I stayed this past weekend, February 29-March 3rd. The Hotel Bobby is really nice on the inside and the staff were all very friendly. We were in walking distance to every spot we visited. The taxi ride from the airport was only $ 32.00, very nice driver. We were greeted by the front door gentlemen. We checked in and our room that was ready for us. Very nice room, our room was not as large as our friends was, they got a room on the end. Security is good, one must use key card to use elevator to go up or down,( great safety ). Our bed was really great, very comfortable. The reason for a 4 star, is it was cold out and we requested another blanket for we like more that one. We were told they did not have any to hand out. A large hotel like this really. The young lady that cleaned our room everyday did an exceptional job ever time. read more

This review is for the rooftop bar only. On your way up to the rooftop bar, you pass through the lobby and it looks like a very nice hotel. It was warm and inviting, very chic and modern. The rooftop bar is very cute and when we visited, they had their winter yurts out and the ice skating rink was up. We had dinner reservations around the corner at Skulls, so we did not dine here and I also have read less than stellar reviews regarding the food, so we just ordered bubbles and enjoyed the ambiance inside the bus which is retrofitted in shabby chic decor complete with shag carpeting. It is really a cool environment. I will say the only thing annoying is that they charge $200 to enjoy the yurts. While the yurts are decent, they are kind of cheap looking I have seen some way more fancier and for that price point, it is not worth it. read more

4 night, 5 day stay on the 9th floor. I took lots of notes, so I hope this covers everything. First, let me just say this was one of my favorite hotel experiences of all time, on any trip I've taken, ever. Now, let me expand. Nashville is truly full of people with the highest grade of Southern hospitality. Bobby is no exception. Every person who helped us during our entire stay, from the Tavern and rooftop staff, to the front desk, to the cleaning service, was kind and warm. We truly felt welcome. This includes Sunday afternoon when my room key suddenly quit working and we discovered I'd booked the room for one day short of our full stay (I'm good at like, 3 things...admin stuff is not one of them). The front desk was quick to accommodate and very gracious about the whole thing. The lobby and common areas are just beautiful. I don't understand an artistic mind that's able to dream up and execute such perfect design, but I'm grateful that such minds exist. The lobby is a Nashville dream. Plenty of cozy, cool seating, amazing details everywhere. The rooms are equally beautiful. I've seen some comments about the bathroom situation, and while I agree it's a little odd when 2 people are in a room, the privacy curtain works just fine to keep all occupants comfortable. The ring light in the bathroom mirror is clutch - super helpful for getting ready and of course, looks lovely. The rooftop bar is magical. We visited in the middle of January, and the igloo and lodge spaces were packed but it didn't feel cramped. It's my understanding that most of these have to be reserved (with a minimum food and drink requirement on the weekends) but one igloo and one lodge is communal, so find a seat if you can and meet some new folks! There's also a super cozy fire area, complete with some blankets. We also popped in to the Garage to watch the better part of the Titans/Chiefs playoff game (sorry not sorry Tennessee) and really enjoyed the people watching. The Tavern has an amazing brunch (recommend the brisket goat cheese omelette) and desserts (Meyer lemon creme brûlée and some other butterscotch something I can't pronounce). Also a great little atmosphere and wonderful people watching. Room service was equally lovely - always fast with some great options, big or small. I loved the kale salad with fig and goat cheese and the avocado toast. Let's talk about Sasha (Sacha?), the hotel dog. This little lady is the sweetest, calmest little pupper who roams the lobby, greeting guests and generally making people's days better. There is a pretty red hand towel in the bathroom of every room which you can take home for a fee. The fee is donated to local rescue shelters, which I think is almost as sheet as Sasha! All in all, this was a basically perfect experience from start to finish. Great hotel. Great people. Great location. Great vacation! read more

So this is only for the rooftop. I have no idea about the inside of the hotel. I went here for a birthday celebration. It looks beautiful. The issue for me was that there was only one bartender. She was extremely slow. There were maybe 20 people on the rooftop max so it wasn't that there was a line. She was just awfully slow in making drinks. So much so that I would only wait for one beverage. Also the kitchen was closed for repairs so we had to leave fast because we were so hungry. Lastly I thought that the ambiance could have definitely used a dj or some kind of music playing. Overall I was pretty disappointed in the experience. Like I said this is ONLY for the rooftop lounge part. read more

Pros and Cons like any hotel, and we would recommend this hotel. We traveled with 2 teenagers in a double queen room. The bathroom does have curtains, so you are provided some privacy - but the top portion is open so you do hear everything. Shower toiletries were nice, but we did find it odd room cleaning didn't come until around 4 pm between outings. It was raining part of the stay so we didn't hang out on the rooftop except to do a walk by. It was busy quickly when open and the igloo and skating experiences were not real entertainment or worthwhile. The room itself and lobby area are the big winners other than location itself. The vibe is fun and upscale. We found the check in and cafe staff helpful and down to earth when inquiring about this and that. Broadway is a short walk along with many other places. The Baam burger across the place was more enjoyable than any of the restaurants to the kiddos! Awesome burgers and shakes- better than the hotel burger that was 3x the cost and the ones at the honky tonks on Broadway. Arcade area is actually dining for the local working class during the week and closed off on weekends (in case it piques your curiosity, too). There is a Walgreens about 3 blocks over but it doesn't open until 9. A lot of places seemed to close early by 7 or 8 and the coffee shops seems to open late - like 9 or 10 am. Thought this odd of a 'big city'. Views from the room with the sunset and night lights were great and took lots of photos of the kiddos. Kids got a kick out of all the party buses driving by and music throughout the night. We were there sat - mon. Service was slow throughout- took about an hour to get muffins on Monday at the cafe. They had one person in the kitchen and oatmeal didn't come the same- less fruit, no granola topper, etc. take it in stride as the hospitality community is struggling to find and keep people. We were on vacay and not rushing to do anything. So make dinner reservations on Saturday or it may be hard to find a nice restaurant. We did dinner at the hotel and it was okay. read more

A nice boutique hotel in the downtown area, I stayed for a night in the Bobby Hotel and it sufficed. Location was nice, by a bunch of bars but a lot of homeless around so didn't always feel super safe to walk alone. The room was quite large and actually, perfect if you were coming for a bachelorette party as there was a ton of room to get ready and hang out. Kudos on the awesome bathroom lightening, almost like a large ring light. Bed sheets were very silky and comfy but top 3 worst pillow in the world (like 3 pillows formed into one). The TV had plenty of channels and the room had a fridge, safe, etc. The lightening structure in the room was so funky, I wish they provided a map of where to turn off what light cause it took me 15 minutes to turn off the under the bed light. The bath products were amazing though, I definitely took the rest of what I had left home and the rain shower was amazing. Amenities: two onsite bars, and I only visited the one on ground floor where the bartender was nice but didn't bother giving me a menu so I kinda had to just choose and not be aware of prices ahead (work trip so I have to expense everything). Gym was smaller but did it's job; they even have a Pelaton but wasn't sure if it was just user error or it was broken cause I couldn't get it to work. The onsite breakfast spot was nice and had a nice outdoor patio. Free waters at the front which is a win in my book. Valet parking was quick but so damn expensive (52$ which was more then the price of my rental car). The hotel ended up triple charging me for valet when I parked one night...luckily I caught this and they apologized profusely for the supposed glitch in the system. I recommend peaking at your bill just in case! read more

While the verdict is still out in the hotel as a whole, Jackie gave me the best massage if my life. No joke, hit me in all the right places and left me feeling truly relaxed. 5 stars for her all the way. As for the hotel, I've been here one night to which the WiFi doesn't work.... mind you, I'm here for work. My hotel room had no toilet paper upon arrival, and the restaurant was out of the pork the first night, and ahi as I sit here at the bar currently. 5 stars for Jackie, 3 stars for my experience thus far, 4 stars thanks to Jackie pulling up the rating. read more

I'm writing to express my sincere displeasure with my Igloo experience & what I feel was a fraudulently marketed event.  Your website marketed the Igloo as a "campfire" experience with a $250 food & beverage minimum and I made a reservation with that expectation. Upon arrival, we learned there was no "campfire" but rather a space heater that gave off no actual heat and left us freezing. To stay warm, our group ordered the spiked cider but we were told that item was no longer available.  We then asked for the spiked hot chocolate and were, again, told that item was no longer available. We ordered grilled cheese and pulled pork fries but the food took forever to arrive and was luke warm.  After 90 min, our server said we were $120 away from our minimum but produced no receipt or proof of our current total nor did she tell us that the minimum of $250 was suddenly increased to $300! She suggested we use the remaining balance to take wine home. Our server, also, failed to mention that there was an automatic 18% gratuity added with tax included on top of that! Her service was sub-par and I did not feel that 18% was worthy of the service she provided.  Our group all felt cheated and ripped-off on the entire experience which did NOT deliver on the "winter fun" claim nor did it even meet bare minimum expectations for simple appetizers and drinks.  I did raise our concerns to our server and she apologized that the experience was not up to standards shown on the website and said that she had multiple guests express the same concerns. Hearing her say that confirms that we were not the only one who felt swindled by fraudulent claims on your website.  Not only did you misrepresent what you would deliver, you stole our money and our time. Hate to say it but PLEASE don't go here. Don't waste your money & time. read more

Very expensive hotel. Not worth the price. Not as clean as one would expect for the price. They do not even provide a free cup of coffee. Valet parking $52 per night i felt was extremely high. Next time I am in Nashville I will look for a better bargain. I don't mind paying a high price but I would expect to get my money's worth. Rooftop bar was nice with very limited seating. My wife and I went to Nashville for our 10th anniversary this year, saw a lot of reviews for this place most of which were very good so decided it to give it a whirl. The staff here are the definition of southern hospitality, the hotel is quite modern and has a great restaurant in a very cool rooftop pool and bar with great views of the city. The only reason that this is not a 5-star review is because of the bathroom situation in the rooms. Most of the rooms have glass block walls for the bathroom, so you are able to see your significant other using the toilet, definitely cuts down a little on the romance factor. I did raise a bit of a stink with the staff, this was my wife and my first trip away together since our three-year-old was born, so we really wanted it to be perfect and they were able to accommodate on the second night we were there they had a cancellation and upgraded us to a suite that was a vast improvement on the bathroom situation and was actually truly incredible! Highly recommended definitely make sure you get a sweet though read more

Very cool, chic hotel in downtown Nashville! We did not actually stay here but I wish we had. I came here for their rooftop igloo bar! I have seen their bar highlighted throughout several social media posts & I was like, I must go there! & I am so glad that I did! Try to make it out there ASAP because I was told that they will be changing up their bar theme by middle-late March. So they have several clear igloos where you can enjoy your warm, wintery drinks inside. Make sure to also make a reservation because sadly, we were not able to sit inside of one. The igloos have a heater & several blankets to keep you warm. There are also a couple of fire pits that are available to anyone. Definitely a must see & very Instagramable! read more

Wow! I don't know how many millions of dollars or how much love, passion and care went into this hotel named Bobby. Suffice it to say it had to be a lot. I've never had the pleasure of staying in a hotel so grand and unique. I don't know where to begin... so I will begin at the roof top bar with it's circa 1955 greyhound bus which is decked out with a huge side panel opening. This makes a great bunch of cubbies to sit and chat in while you have your drinks. It's casual and serves drinks in plastic cups which makes you feel like you're at Coney Island or the Boardwalk on the Jersey shore. We stayed in a smaller room with one king sized bed and the mattress was very comfortable. The room is designed very cleverly with oversized light fixtures, hide away trash baskets with more than adequate room for two sets of clothes. The bathroom is truly stunning! Floor to ceiling wall tiles in the six foot by three foot by ten foot high mud-pan shower are steamily breathtaking. Wow! The over sized Kohler shower fixture is stunning! We highly recommend the Bobby if you're staying in Nashville! Yes! read more

Y'all this is an absolutely fantastic hotel. It is expensive. It's not perfect but it's really nice. First of all when you walk in it's beautifully decorated and spacious. It smells amazing not only on the first floor but everywhere in the hotel. The rooms are nice and not all of them have amazing views but they're very well decorated and modern. I love the color scheme that they have. They also have a very sweet and extremely cute rescue dog name Sasha who is the hotel dog. She's extremely friendly and greets everybody and is very well behaved!! She's the reason they got five stars instead of four, honestly!! Everyone at the hotel including the front desk to the café that they have is extremely helpful and friendly. My two issues were that the rooms did not have coffee machines in them as I am an avid coffee drinker first thing in the morning but, they do have room service and there's a café downstairs that serves coffee. There's also a restaurant, Tavern at Bobby that serves breakfast and coffee. The second issue, and this just may have been our room, is that the water didn't get hot. It got warm and a nice warm temperature but I like to take hot showers and it definitely was not hot enough for me. That may just be a particular room issue. We did bring it to their attention and they said they would look at it. The hotel is well located, next to tons of bars and restaurants and the main Broadway Street (about 5-7 mins walk). We had a great time there. There's valet parking that's approximately $45-$50 a night, that is expensive. This hotel is not cheap. It is brand new and they have a downstairs garage bar, which is very cute and trendy. They also have an upstairs rooftop bar with igloos and a Greyhound bus which is extremely fun (also games). Unfortunately, we went during a rainy cold weekend and so we did not get to enjoy it. Everything about this hotel is super fun and trendy, if you're looking for a nice weekend in Nashville and want to place to stay I would strongly recommend you look into this venue. Again, it's not cheap but it's definitely worth it and was spending the day at the hotel is a lot of fun if it's rainy and cold. read more

The Bobby Hotel was nothing more than average...probably worse. They nickel and dime you here which is a complete bummer. Also, we booked a corner king to have windows and we only had one dinky window in our room. Don't come here if you are concerned of maskless crowds! It was terrible. We rented an igloo for Valentine's Day and it was really great. The hotel itself was really busy and not super covid friendly which really upset me (people didn't wear masks in the building once they got here), but the igloo was the intimate and safe experience we wanted. It was cold outside but that is not their fault obviously. The food was really good and very filling. All in all, this hotel is worth the price if you only get dinner. The hotel is a bit cheap and make you pay for literally everything. No complimentary breakfast was a real bummer when we got up. Also, no room service either. You have to go down to a crowded bar to order to go meals. Also was supposed to get yogurt in my fruit bowl but did not get it. The staff is super nice and helped us a lot but they really need to enforce mask mandates when it revolves around guests. I felt very unsafe in the lobby because of the mask less crowd. 2/5 in my book. Dinner here then stay at the Omni hotel instead. It's worth your money this way. Also not worth the uncomfortable pandemic night if you are as cautious as my family is. Maybe I'll reconsider after the pandemic calms down but places like this are the reason why we don't have a handle on covid. read more

This hotel is just gorgeous from the entrance to the rooftop. The decor was very well thought thru. I love everything in this place. From the restaurant downstairs to the cool space on the rooftop. I never stayed here but its a cool hangout spot to take pictures and just be with your friends or significant other. The view on the rooftop is amazing. Valet parking is $8 and the igloo special if you want to reserve is $750 and it fits up to 10 people. Very nice touch for the winter with all the fire pits in between the igloos just to chill outside. read more

Beautiful boutique property just a few blocks off Broadway and next to Printer's Alley. We had a small event in the "Garage Bar" cool spot and great fit for 20 people as well Meeting space on 2nd floor. The hotel patio flows into the lobby and is perfect spot for breakfast or lunch. The espresso / coffee was outstanding. The staff from front desk to waiters to management - all tops. The rooms were gorgeous and spacious. The only knock would be the bar food wasn't stellar. Great cocktails however. The rooftop is ridiculously cool. I would recommend for couples, and if you have small event. It's a can't miss. Very dog friendly. read more

I was looking forward to staying here in May 2020, I had done so much research and then when covid hit I had to cancel. I rebooked for October 2021. Just got back and i was not impressed. I was traveling with my mom who is a senior but has more energy than me. However, we didn't like that their wasn't a cold fridge in the room, no way to make coffee or tea. Very little amenities. We had to call down each time we wanted an ice bucket with ice. This wasn't the pace for us, but I think for young people it would work. It had a hip atmosphere. We checked out the rooftop bar and that was cool. They had a retro streamliner up there, very instagrammable. They asked me if it was ok to email me the receipt- dont do that, get it printed and look at it. When I got home and checked they had charged me for parking, I didn't even have a car. They were quick to fix it. I also didn't think the front staff were very attentive. The few times I asked for ice or to mail a postcard it seemed as if I was bothering them (no one else around). Location was good, we walked and ubered to most places. It is on the top of a hill so going down to Broadway which was about 5 blocks wasn't too bad but going up gave you a work out. Also same street as the Ryman. read more

Bobby - Special tuna appetizer that night - Hotels Near Me - Nashville, Tennessee

The most magnificent hotel. Located in the arts district in downtown Nashville. There is so much to do here that a full day can be spent exploring the hotel before you can even think about leaving the property. The details of every crevice of this place is amazing with touches of influence from Bobby's worldwide travels. Nashville locals are known to pick the Bobby Hotel when they need a weekend in the city, so it's the perfect spot. After checking in we had an appetizer and cocktail at the Bobby's main restaurant, The Tavern. Prices are high, but are worth it as the atmosphere is so welcoming. My favorite spot is the rooftop, in the winter they have igloos for larger parties to stay warm and in the summer the rooftop pool is a must. The rooftop has two bars, games and plenty of hangout spots. Bobby's garage is located in the basement and a fun area to grab a beer before venturing outside. It has another exit that opens to the festive arts district where there are plenty of bars, restaurants and more. Walking distance to Broadway street too! A must stay! read more

Passing thru Nashville we chose to stay at the Bobby for two nights. During Covid you have more concerns with where you stay and the Bobby offered a lot of open air spaces and a clean upscale atmosphere which was why we selected it. We chose a balcony room which was nice to not only sit outside and enjoy but also bring in open air to the room (again Covid concern during these times). The room was well decorated in a modern style, comfortable bed and couch, large bathroom with high-end toiletries. The staff was all very attentive and as nice as could be. On-site we enjoyed the lobby restaurant/cafe, it like the rest of the hotel is dog friendly and while nothing food-wise knocked out socks off after a 8-9 hour drive I was happy to not have to go anywhere. I will say the drinks are overpriced with a minimal/basic wine & beer list. The rooftop pool area was only opened to guests the day we utilized it on a Tuesday. The bar area is only open TH-SU at this point in time during Covid. We were actually the only ones on the entire rooftop and pool which was fine with us. It's a great space and I can imaging would be quit fun under normal circumstances. My only complaints were the $45 per day valet parking. We chose to use an app and park a block away for half the price. read more

Very disappointing stay. When I arrived at my room, I found chicken wings left on the floor of the room from the last guest. Then, I came to find that my comforter was covered with blood and pee stains. When I asked for a new one, it took the staff 45 mins to bring one up. The following day, I took my car out and brought it back to the valet. When I returned downstairs, I noticed my car had been left on the street, unattended and unlocked. I was traveling and my car was full of valuables in a busy street. I will never stay here again. read more

WAY. OVER. PRICED! No coffeemakers, no refrigerator, no SHOWER DOORS OR CURTAINS. Extremely weird room layout designs, no space, no bathroom privacy but a curtain. No soap dishes, no tissues, it's like the people before me used everything up......... you have to call people for a tiny bucket of ice! The toilet paper falls off it's design if you've been touch it. If this place can make money by selling rooms then anybody can.......... I would pay 5x more to stay a holiday in if they had rooms with balconies. Can't even believe how ghetto this place is. read more

Originally came to have brunch in the rooftop on a Saturday, but found out the rooftop didnt open until 4. Glad we decided to stay because the heated, not crowded patio was perfect! Staff was accommodating and the food was super tasty. We ordered a charcuterie board and spinach dip to start. Nothing mind blowing, but I think everyone in our 4-person party ended up ordering a version of the Smoked Turkey sandwhich with upgraded truffle fries. Sooo gooood!! The candied pecan latte was great but i might go with lite pecans next time. The beautiful lobby decor made for such a fun photo op for me and my read more
